After having braces with a different orthodontist just prior to my experience with Smile Builder, my teeth shifted again within a matter of weeks despite faithfully wearing my retainer. I wanted to correct the movement with clear aligners rather than going through braces again. After about a year of treatment, I couldn't be happier with the results. At the arrival we had indicated that we were set up for a cleaning at the same time. I verified multiple occasions and a multiple occasions they verified by that they did have indeed time. However, then they told me after the fact when I had no ride that they were not going to be able to finish. We scheduled the appointment on Wednesday because the office closed late on that day. If we would have known from the beginning we would have decided to cancel or take our business elsewhere. Now I have to go through the hassle of by contacting my insurance company. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! I was sent here as a referral to have a root canal, since my dentist does not perform that service. This dentist at Smile Builder didn't bother to do an X-ray on my tooth before working on it, which should've been done because maybe you would've discovered my tooth was cracked! So I was charged $497.50 for an incomplete job since you waited too long to get an image of my tooth. After 45 minutes of drilling the dentist said he couldn't do a root canal on it because it was cracked. I PAID $497 FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY COULDN'T DO A ROOT CANAL! 2 weeks later I went to Grandview Endodontics and they charged $60 for an X-Ray BEFORE working on my tooth. Why couldn't you guys do that??? Now my insurance is maxed out because of this "incomplete job." Terrible business. Don't go here. Go to Grandview instead. read more

Caution: Photo may be disturbing. Discretion advised. This was the result of probable unskilled handling during an oral surgery to excavate a (single) broken molar. The procedure lasted over an hour with the dentist taking breaks in between while local anesthesia was administered continually. The impact from repeated slipping of instrument jabbing and stabbing the area around my broken tooth was never met with any sensitivity or empathy. There was zero acknowledgment let alone apologies. As a helpless patient I was fully trusting and completely in surrender to the dentist. Realizing my injuries were unusual, my remarks to the dentist were simply ignored. It's been over a year since I got my bottom wisdom teeth out at this dentist! Posting this because I know a year ago I was panicking about Dr. Park and if I would lose nerve feeling in my jaw after this procedure! Never fear you are in good hands at this dentist for wisdom teeth removal! They keep you awake which can be scary, but you'll be fine! I have been wanting to take my teeth out and see them just because I'm fascinated by teeth, but I was always really scared of the cutting open of my gums and such. Dr. Park also draws blood to heal your gums (? Don't quote me on that LOL). Don't worry though! I also only give 4 stars because I remember that the assistant dropped about 2-3 things which is kinda gross, but I survived it! Lol read more

This is a great little dental office in Mission Grove area. I think they're the sister office of the Mission Grove Dentistry which is also rated highly in the area. But this new place is closer to me and open on Fridays. The place is new and clean. Everyone there is very nice and professional. Administrative personnel (Michelle) is prompt to paperwork, go over insurance coverage, clearly list out and explained any dental plan/cost. X-ray technician is patience and make you feel comfortable for each image taken. Hygienist (Amanda) patiently and carefully examines and cleans every single one of your teeth and gum. Dr. Park goes over the x-ray result with you in detail and address any dental work and concerns you might need/have. This is an excellent team and I'm so glad to have found such a superb one near me. One thing though, they only except PPO I think. But in my experience, all the good ones only except PPO and don't want to deal with the HMO insurance claim process and hassle. read more
