I have endometriosis, fibroids, and cysts. I get debilitating cramps and lower back pain at least twice a week . My gynecologist tried to put me on birth control to mitigate the pain which I declined due to the negative long term side effects. There were many options and I honestly was worried I would get someone that might not care or that was rude. My medical provider is Kaiser and most of the staff is rude. They treat you like a number and like they really don't care about you. I didn't want that to be my experience with my acupuncturist so, I prayed. I prayed "God, please help me find a good Dr." . Out of all the options I had I picked Dr. Kim, and I am so happy that I did. Dr. Kim is the kindest, positive, most supportive Dr. I have ever met. She makes me feel like she truly cares and like she listens to me. She doesn't make me feel like a number or like she just wants to check me off her list and get me out of the office. Not only is Dr Kim the kindest and most caring Dr but her office is always clean and organized. Everything is sanitary and you are given your privacy. Dr Kim asks you questions and actually listens prior to being treated. The beds have heating pads and she plays the most relaxing music. After your treatment she checks in and gives you directions on how to best recover from the treatment . If you ever have any questions she responds quickly and makes sure whatever concern you have is resolved. Since starting my treatment 3 months ago I can honestly say that acupuncture has helped improve my condition significantly. Though I was referred for the issues mentioned above Dr Kim has demonstrated her support in other areas as well. I struggle with my weight and she is more than willing to give advice and support as needed. I can honestly say that Dr Kim is the best Dr I have ever met and I wish there were more Drs like her. First of all, the hospital is very clean. I was surprised because it was so different from the Oriental Acupuncture clinics I knew. The treatment areas were all separated into rooms, and the disposable patient gowns, warm mats on the beds, and soft music played made it easier to receive treatment. I was touched by the small details before receiving treatment, so I felt that the treatment was much more effective, but I was really surprised when the doctor pressed on the spot and said, "Here it is." When I was putting a pain relief patch on an uncomfortable area, I was sometimes unsure of exactly where to put it, but I was surprised when she pressed on the painful area exactly.
