I found Dr. Paek after a recommendation for assistance with fertility. He comes highly recommended for helping women on their fertility journeys. I had been trying to conceive for over 1.5 years before coming to Dr. Paek and after 4 months under his care (+lots of supplements) I'm now 9 weeks pregnant. He shows a lot of compassion which is so important when you're having trouble getting pregnant. I'd recommend adding his treatments to any woman looking for natural care. I don't know where these good reviews are coming from. I did not have a good experience here. When I went there, Dr Jun was cold and clinical. I called before making an appointment and asked if the doctor treats pain in my shoulder. He answered the phone and said yes. When I went in for my appointment, he was behind the desk and asked me what I was there for. I said pain in my shoulder. He gave me an intake form, and I expected some testing for range of motion or explanation of what he's doing. Instead, he had me lie down and immediately started sticking needles in. I was uncomfortable and asked him questions about what he's doing, which he gave very short answers to. He was busy, coming in and out of the room multiple times, and I could hear him laughing with clients in other rooms. Every time he came in, he asked "Do you feel lighter?" Assuming he meant my shoulder, I said no. But I wouldn't know until I stood up because I didn't have pain lying down. He also asked if I'm Korean, which wasn't relevant. I was willing to give this place a second try in case I caught him on an off day, but my shoulder felt worse after. No improvement in range of motion and no pain relief. I had asked him how many sessions I'd need, and he said maybe 4. He didn't welcome me back, didn't explain treatment. I will never go here again. New patients be warned. He doesn't treat patients equally. read more

I started to see Dr. Park due to a knee injury. He cured me in four sessions. I came in twice a week and I saw the results. Before, I was limping on one leg in extreme pain. My carpal tunnel was flaring up again and I needed to get some fast relief. I had never been pregnant prior when I used to get acupuncture for other issues so I consulted with Dr Paek prior to ensure it was safe for me to do so. He informed me it was safe as long as he did not overly stimulate the points. I would get some relief but one visit would not fix the problem. After understanding the information over the phone, Dr was able to book me a same day appointment. He provided me with a consult prior to receiving treatment and reiterated the condition of my carpal tunnel arm would definitely need more than one treatment for it to be resolved. I informed him I would see how this visit goes prior to making any commitments. He respected my explanation. He was very thorough with explanation of treatment and the difference between mainland china acupuncture v/s taiwan/korean methods. While mainland china directly applies the needles to the pressure points, korean and taiwan use the approach of treating with opposition. Ex. my right arm would be coordinated or treated with my left low leg. He educated me with each step in the treatment to ensure I was understanding and accepting. He came in frequently to ensure I was not in any more pain or discomfort. My session seemed quite long and I definitely felt much relief after my first treatment. This place is the real deal. I've suffered from occasional bouts of acid reflux which leaves me curled up in a ball of pain for days. Western medicine has not been able to cure this. So finally I decided to try acupuncture. Jun Paek is a miracle worker. After four days of pain, we be session with him managed to make all the burning pain and bloating come down. I have been getting treated by Dr. Paek since May. Initially, I went to get my bells palsy treated. After some rigorous sessions, my face is almost completely healed when western pills, and big pharma has failed me. Dr. Paek is friendly, patient, and understanding. Unlike many other acupuncturists that I have visited, Dr Paek, actually explains what's up and may use visual prompts to help us laymen understand the millenia old techniques. Currently, Dr Paek is assisting me with my respiratory issues.
