That doctor refused to even try trigger point injections and immediately pushed me toward an epidural. I didn't really want one, but I was desperate for relief at the time, so I went through with it. The very first thing Dr. Nini said when he examined me was that he wanted to try trigger point injections first before considering any epidural treatment. That instantly told me he was actually listening to my concerns instead of rushing me into procedures. I received the trigger point injections today and already feel hopeful again.
