Dr. Ho is especially compassionate and takes time to really listen, which we didn't always experience with other pain specialists we tried. He is thorough but also efficient during follow-up visits, and he helped significantly reduce her pain with steroid injections when medications alone were not enough. Walking in before the appointment, my mom could not sit up and had to lay down on the waiting room couch. After the procedure, my mom has been able to walk short distances without her cane. The very first thing Dr. Nini said when he examined me was that he wanted to try trigger point injections first before considering any epidural treatment. That instantly told me he was actually listening to my concerns instead of rushing me into procedures. I received the trigger point injections today and already feel hopeful again.
