I went in hoping to find a good injection doc for chronic back and neck pain and left in tears after 4 visits. During the last visit, he burst into the exam room and said " so you didn't finish your meds, huh?" I told him I had to stop steroids on day 5 because I had a bad reaction. I continued to ask him questions and explain how my pain had predictably come back. He then spent the rest of the visit yelling at me and interrupting every sentence. I barely got to finish any sentence I began. He said he had already explained that I didn't have pinched nerves ( which conflicted with my MRI report) I broke down in tears, but that didn't stop the yelling. He just started talking directly to my husband. My husband was shocked at his behavior. He did give me injection options and sent us home with literature - but honestly I never want to be in the same room as this man again My husband and I have no clue what I did to set him off. All I can say is - If you're in pain and feeling vulnerable - stay away!

After being placed on hold for quite awhile, they found my referral and said that I needed to be assigned to a provider and will be called back in 24 hours to schedule appointment. No call back, so I called to follow up today 9/11 and was told they couldn't find my referral again. Gave my info then the receptionist rudely asked if I had seen pain management before, which I replied, yes for my back. She said I need to submit my records for any pain management because the doctor needs to review and approve me before I can get an appointment. I said they need this even though it's for another part of my body? She said it doesn't matter, they need to see everything. At this point, I was so frustrated because she never confirmed she found my approval and added a new hoop to jump through to see if I will even be "approved" to get an appointment for a consultation. This is absolutely ridiculous and I just said thank you and hung up. Good luck getting past the front office to even get a consultation!

The experience was worth every non-insurance covered dollar, and more! I injured my back as a college athlete, but did not receive an official diagnosis until a few years later. Most of the time, the injury wasn't an issue. But when it flared-up it affected every minute of my day. My back pain and tightness, at its worst, made it difficult to sit down, sit, stand up, and stand. There were times where I could not sit down at restaurants and could not stand through a church service. After the worst flare-up of the injury, which occurred while I was traveling across the country, I pursued a diagnosis from a doctor so I could seek physical therapy. I started PT with a clinic that was covered by my insurance. At the same time, I saw an advertisement for LPI on Instagram. They were promoting a heavily discounted consultation, so I scheduled an appointment. I was impressed with my experience, but was concerned with the price difference between the clinic I was working with and LPI. I decided to proceed with the clinic covered by my insurance and LPI simultaneously, so I could compare the two. After a few weeks, I was convinced that the treatment from LPI would be far better than the treatment I was receiving with the other clinic, and I believed the pricing was appropriate. I ended my treatment plan with the other clinic and fully committed to working with Dr. Gary. I was surprised when Dr. Gary began my treatment plan by working on my feet and ankles, where he identified limitations connected to what was going on with my back. He then wanted to work on my legs and hips. The time spent working on my feet, ankles, legs, and hips led to significant progress for my back, before we began specific work on my back, which we did eventually address. along with my core. All the progress I described was achieved over the course of a couple of months and one or two appointments a month. Working with Dr. Gary was an investment in my health and my body and it is one of the best health choices I have ever made. I am months removed from treatment and everything we worked on has stuck and continues to benefit me. I am now more aware of how I move and how to move my body, and I move differently than ever before. I recently helped my parents with a move to a new house, and then myself moved to a new home a few months later. Moving is a great opportunity to hurt your back, but I was completely fine during both moves and I credit this to my work with Dr. Gary. Dr. Gary resolved a nagging hip pain I've had on and off for years due to overuse. I've seen PT's in the past and they've all said the same things: "stretch your hip, work it out a little more, etc." and none of them every found the root cause. From the first session, I could tell Dr. Gary was different. He looked at my issue holistically and focused on the bad ankle on the same side as my bad hip. After that first session, I haven't had hip pain and for the remaining sessions we were able to focus on ankle mobility to resolve other issues related to it. That instantly told me he was actually listening to my concerns instead of rushing me into procedures. I received the trigger point injections today and already feel hopeful again.
