Dr. Ho is especially compassionate and takes time to really listen, which we didn't always experience with other pain specialists we tried. He is thorough but also efficient during follow-up visits, and he helped significantly reduce her pain with steroid injections when medications alone were not enough. Walking in before the appointment, my mom could not sit up and had to lay down on the waiting room couch. After the procedure, my mom has been able to walk short distances without her cane. We are very grateful for the care she has received here.

I have waited on hold so long, I've been driving down to get my shot appointments. I've been told I have to be pre-approved for shots that don't need to be pre-approved. Then had to drive down again to tell them that. I had an extension at one point, but evidently they didn't usually give that out, so the front desk sat there and either lied to me or didn't know about it. This all happened in a space of 3 weeks in March of 2024. I've been having trouble with appointments, since this office was purchased by PIH and it just gets worse and worse!

I had some real problems with being able to turn my head in either direction because of all the stiffness. They laid out a plan of exercises that concentrated on getting my neck more limber and able to turn without the pain I had had. Everyone there was so very helpful and you felt like they really cared about how you progressed. If I ever have to have PT again hopefully Kaiser will refer me there again.

Ivy Johnson is an excellent PA--she truly listens, communicates clearly, and makes you feel at ease with any concerns. The entire office is wonderful--professional, supportive, and attentive. A special thank you to Esmeralda, his medical assistant, who is incredibly organized and always on top of everything. She really makes a difference. I hope I don't need another surgery, but if I do, I will absolutely return to Dr. Ali. I'm very grateful for the excellent care I've received and continue to receive during my recovery.

Dr Son was incredibly detailed in how he guided me through movement and explained why specific movements would benefit me and my issues. He spent time trying to understand my injury, my limitations, and the problems I want to solve. He was very informative throughout my session and explained everything in a way that someone who is pretty uncoordinated like me can understand. I was a pediatric, and remember him implicitly. I haven't been able to have any sort of a "normal" life. He didn't know what was going on post surgery, and proceeded to blame me for all the problems because he didn't know what was wrong. I went to another hospital and finally got answers, and it was a result of surgery that caused the lifelong damage/disability. He couldn't figure it out. So he decided to blame me instead of being able to say that he simply didn't know.
