First visit with Dr. Parsa. I arrived early, staff got me doing paperwork and I was in exam room right on schedule. Nurse did all her work, but doc took quite a while to get to me. 30 minutes wait after nurse was done. The good part is the wait was because Dr. Parsa will spend the time with you as well. Ok.. to start, I never saw Parsa, but this is his office. The staff.. horrible! I was assigned this office with my insurance group and from the first visit to my last straw interaction, this office did not practice Patient CARE.. they practiced I DONT CARE! The front desk staff is so uncaring. They do not know how to exercise basic humane reactions. You walk away from an appt not even have a result. They dont even submit referrals correctly It took me 6 or more months of calling weekly to get them to submit my cpap machine properly. Literally filled out the main referral for the mask only. Called called called and finally gave them a list of codes I received from the providing facility to give them myself cause they were tired of reaching out to parsas staff to correct My last straw.. was recently. I had a stroke and after release from hospital, I was told my primary doc office needs to refer me to cardiology for a heart monitor. I call them and explain I need Tiffany, the PA to refer me to cardiology. Of course they say.. you need an appt. I say not really she just needs to send a referral in so I can get my monitor to rule out Afib as a cause .. the very uncaring receptionist say.. well we can see you on the 11th. Im like.. its the 29th.. so you see waiting 2 weeks is not really good.. I just had a stroke! She says well, sorry parsa is booked and so is Tiffany. I said its an emergency. What's your protocol? She says there is none. I said please place me on hold and ask if she can fit in a tele health visit in the next day or so.. if she literally needs an appt it needs to be sooner. She refused to do that ReFUSED stating protocol. I said so you have NO EMERGENCY PROTOCOL? She said no.. 2 weeks pass and of course.. I jave now had 4 more mini strokes.. NOT Tia's literally brain damaging strokes.. and I get my appt.. so she can refer me to cardiology and ​I forget to ask for wprk paperwork.. so I called back within three days of that appt.. to get that paperwork and they tell me You need another appt. And it has to be in person. Not a telehealth. I said, no ma'am I just had an appt and this is part of it.. she said no.. I said please just email her and tell her I forgot to ask for that paperwork she said no again amd refused my request three more times before I told her she will indeed get a message to her and if I hear from her lips she needs an appt then we would go from there. Unbelievable how they treat people who need some care and compassion. Horrible place. Yes.. they called back and said, you need an appt. I will never return. I called my neurologist and they had the paperwork I needed emailed to me within 15 minutes! This office will not even call you to give you test results regarding a previous app.. without you paying another office copay. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect for people in all my life. I am a caring and kind person and this office made me feel like a speck of dirt under their shoes. read more

Call repeatedly to get them to fill my lab work for my first doctors visit as a routine but they never did and it's been several months and I still receive a bill from the lab saying I owe them hundreds of dollars. I call my health insurance company and they confirm that the doctors office never build it as a routine lab work so if that happens to you, make sure you call them and get them to provide a CPT code as well as a diagnosis code for routine lab work and make sure you call them every day to make sure it's done. Don't rely on the lab to tell you is done. You have to call the lab too and make sure that they got the submission from dr parsa's office. read more

This office has been nickel and diming me to death since my first visit. Not only are they late by an average of 40 minutes, but they charged me a visit and my copay to tell me my lab results: I paid $60 to hear "Everything looks good". Asinine. PA Tiffany Zenken was rude and tried to intermediate me when I said that I only trust in Dr Parsa after know that office for long time. I am extremely disappointed with the decline in both healthcare and professionalism in OC Medical. I have been a patient for over 20 years, my original primary physician left this practice and i decided to stay as I had always felt well taken care of here. However in recent years, I have experienced poor care and poor follow up. Not just from the physician, nursing but from the front desk as well. They have had a lot of turnover and it seems no one is interested in patient care or experience here any longer. Only applying one start because it's required. read more

I chose Dr. Parsa as a primary care physician when I moved to Brea from Michigan in 2019 as Cigna recommended him. He was local, and I could get in fast. To be fair, I've yet to see Dr. Parsa. I've only ever had appointments with NPs and PAs. That's fine, actually, as I don't have an issue seeing mid-levels for most appointments. In practice most offices would rotate the primary care provider in but this office doesn't do that. When I first arrived in SoCal and started my care with Dr. Parsa I asked, twice, that my records from Michigan be brought over. That's never happened. I guess it's ok that my medical history began in 2019. When I ask about it it's not addressed. The ever-changing front desk staff neither cares about nor has the time for my petty concerns like prescription refills or things that I need to stay alive like a CPAP machine. When it (the CPAP machine) started to fail and I tried to navigate Cigna/PCP (Dr. Parsa) and the DME company to replace it the weakest link was definitely Dr. Parsa's office. I definitely get the feeling that I'm annoying them by asking them to help me with medical needs. Long story short, and I know it's too late for that, it's time for a new PCP. read more

I had a January 2017 appointment with the doctor. I was impressed by the friendliness of his office staff. I was interested in laser treatment for the veins on my legs and was taken to a room where I spoke with a nurse and then with Dr. Parsa. I was very pleased with the possibilities of treatment. I needed an ultrasound and made an appointment at the first available date, March 16. After driving for 2 1/2 hours from Riverside County, and arriving on time, I was told there was no ultrasound tech there that day. The office was full of people,and after speaking to the woman at the desk, I left and drove home. I have confirmed this appointment on my calendar and the appointment card I received on the January visit. I got no apology and I will never return to this office. read more

I have seen Dr Parsa for 13 years. He doesn't want to hear anything about any medical symptom that may have developed since you made your appointment. He just stares at his iPad the whole time and doesn't want to listen to your health concerns. He will only answer questions about what his office staff wrote down when you made the appointment. When I asked him to listen to me about recent problem that I thought may be very serious, he accused me of telling him how to do his job. I thought his job was to be my doctor and to listen to my health concerns. I have had this ongoing issue with him not wanting to listen to my health concerns when I am in the office, and it seems I always leave frustrated. He seems to be in such a hurry that he doesn't have time for you. On my most current visit, all he wanted to do is go over my last visit, I wasn't there to recap my last visit. I had serious concerns about symptoms that had arisen recently. He did NOT want to hear anything about it! I actually had a gastroenterologist he sent me to once tell me to find another doctor, one that would take care of me. This was based on what he saw and that nothing was being done about it. I didn't heed his advice, but I should have. I tried seeing his PA at the time, Amanda. She was FANTASTIC, but nobody seems to stay at his office for long, it is a revolving door and soon Amanda was gone. I have finally given up and will be looking for someone new as I should have when was told to. In my opinion, he is nothing that a doctor should be. Thats sad. read more

Dr. Parsa's office overcharged me $220.00 in February 2018 and despite me providing written proof REFUSES to refund me. The female (other adjectives fit her better, but..)who answers the phone is NOT helpful, diagnoses you over the phone, then decides if you're worthy enough for an appointment. I have been going to Dr. Parsa ever since he took over this practice from Dr. Lundahl. That's a really long time. Dr. Parsa has always taken such good care of me and my family. It will be a sad day for me when he retires. His PA Amanda Paranda is awesome. Dr. Navarone who does PT and Chiro is one of the best. I agree, the office staff sometimes is a little to be desired, but they do change them out from time to time. The nurses are great and I have never had any problem with them. Administering shots, breathing treatments, taking blood, etc have always been top notch. I moved to Corona from N/E Anaheim and will drive the distance to keep Dr. Parsa. If it wasn't for him, my partner would of died from having in infected gallbladder, he saved her life. He referred me to an awesome Dr that performed surgery on my skin cancer who was also an excellent plastic surgeon. My youngest son and myself have chronic lung problems and Dr. Parsa has always treated us so we got well quickly. If your looking for a fantastic Dr, who has a great PA and that you can actually get into see pretty quickly, this is your place. Then again, maybe this is information I should keep to myself and my wait time could be shortened, lol. read more

I have been coming here for years and always see Amanda Paranda (who works with Dr. Parsa) and she is great. Very down to earth, shows that she cares, and gives great treatment and care. I have been going to see Dr Parsa and Amanda for a little over two years now. I have nothing but good things to say about them and their staff. I am active duty Air Force, because I am located 50 miles from the closest military facility I get to use them. As a military member it's hard to get the same care you receive when your off an installation or base. If I could continue to go to Dr Parsa and Amanda for the rest of my career I would. They have always been very accommodating to anything I have needed. From referrals to day of appointments. I love the girls up front, they are quick to notify you when things like referrals are authorized or approved. There have been times I have forgotten about things and they have called to give a follow up reminder. I would recommend them and this office anytime. My star rating is only based on the lack professionalism of the receptionist Amanda. If she is to check the insurance coverage prior to coming then she needs to make sure she tries more then once with the information given to her instead of telling the member "oops sorry you are not covered" I tried to explain that we are and the DR's name is on my insurance card. With out trying again she just said "sorry not showing coverage". Since I have not been a patient of theirs yet with this kind of service before I am a patient I will take my business elsewhere.
