Sometime you just got lucky haha I switch company and decide to pick new PCP. While i was going through the insurance list and I notice Dr Howard's office is literally walking distance from my home. I called the office, i notice this office has great setup. On-boarding form all digitalized and i have the same experience when i visited the office. They picked a not so obvious location and remodeled their interior. The clinic interior is all bright and friendly. Since forms are digitalized, my intake process was so smooth and easy. He was very caring and extremely detailed. He answered all my questions and honestly had me feeling less worried about my health. Dr. Pyo's staff is communicative and very friendly where they were transparent and told me that I had to wait a little because I was early. They have a coffee menu after checking in, so I was sipping on a matcha latte while waiting for the doctor. Right at my appointment time, I was taken care of for my visit. Dr. Pyo was very thorough and asked me about any issues I have, and even asked me regarding things from my previous visits that I forgot about to ensure I'm in top health. This was my first visit to Dr Pyo's clinic and glad I came here first. The medical assistants were so friendly and helpful, and I also didn't have to wait too long to be seen. The doctors here prescribed me some antibiotics as well as an inhaler, and I could finally feel some relief. My whole experience was amazing at Pyo clinic! When I came in the front desk nurses were very nice! I came in about 30mins early and they were able to get me in right away. The whole clinic is very clean and nice! The nurse who took my vitals was very nice and efficient and made the whole pre visit process smooth and easy. When I pay my co-pay from my visits, I don't have that thought after other providers like "well thats a nice cherry on top of that rushed 10 minute appointment." Instead I think, "that's all I'm paying?" I mention this story because I think this doctor is invaluable. I don't even know how he or anyone can measure his worth because he's that special of a provider. I mean really, Dr. Pyo is a unicorn. I just don't know how else to say it. Won't get into why, but I left my PCP of 15 years and was looking for a new doctor. In contrast, Dr Pyo was very accommodating. I've read the other reviews. It's repetitive, I know, but I'm going to have to agree w everyone else and give the Pyo Clinic all 5 stars! However, I don't live near the clinic, so Dr Pyo "saw" me via Virtual Consultation. Though clearly not the same as face-to-face, Dr Pyo's family style, quality care still shined through. From the beginning, I was treated w respect, never rushed, and completely heard. Both Dr and Mrs Pyo have outstanding people skills. Their character and concern for patients is admirable. Dr. Pyo is a fantastic, knowledgeable doctor, but above all, a compassionate person. I stopped by to get another opinion, I was very long winded but Dr. Pyo let me take my time to explain my situation. After he listened, he gave me his opinion and a few medical advice that my doctor and specialist didn't suggest. One of those advice was a medication he normally does not carry and was not available at the local pharmacy. He saw I was in distress and said he would order it for me and to come back once it comes in. I originally came in for consultation but he ended up treating me as well.
