The front desk, although not overly personable, are friendly and efficient. We each checked in with ease on both of our visits. The lobby has a few chairs, however there is room for more and I suggest they add some additional chairs as during both visits patients were standing for part of their wait. Bathroom is clean, office is tidy. Wait times for each appointment were not bad at all. Scheduling our appointments was also within a reasonable time. Parking is marked on the street for Shin patients at no cost, which is nice because this area is really tough to find easy parking and what is easy to find will cost you. Only one of our visits were we able to take advantage of the reserved spots, but very nice that they have them available. Now to the MRI. My husband is very claustrophobic and told them both on the appointment setting and in the office prior to the MRI. We both felt that the techs could have been a bit more sensitive to that. He felt like he was barely on the table when they shoved him into the machine without saying a word or warning. He was not mentally prepared for this. My husband is definitely no wuss, trust me, he's a rugged man's man through and through, but his claustrophobia is straight up real. His 45 minute MRI was cut short to 10 minutes because the anxiety got too high for him. The anxiety is not the technicians' fault, but maybe had they been a bit more sensitive to his phobia and gently eased him in, it may not have been so bad. He did return a week later with some comforting valium and the awareness that he would be flung down the chamber like a dude at a water park. He successfully made it through that second test. Now he's prepared. During my MRI, I did notice that they get you done in a hurry. It did not bother me one bit as I have no claustrophobia at all. Paying attention to the swiftness of the loading into the machine, my husband was right, they get you in fast. My headphones weren't even on my ears yet and away I went into the canal. But, again, for me it was fine, just noticing it since my husband was so sensitive to it. All-in-all, Shin was a great place to have our MRIs done, the ease of appointment setting, the wait time, the efficiency, the parking. Great job with all of this!! Our only suggestion is that when you have someone with true claustrophobia, a little extra care, compassion, and preparedness would be nice. Great job Shin! Would have no problem returning... and honestly neither would my husband, he'll just need the valium and the self-given pep talk first.

Luckily, my score was 0 (perfect) five years ago, and it was time for a recheck. This time, I was referred to Imaging Partners in Orange. I called to schedule an appointment and Elyssa was so friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation and were able to book me only two days out. She took all of my prerequisite information quickly and sent me a link to complete some paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was impressed by their very modern and clean facility. Check-in was a breeze since I completed the forms online ahead of time. I only waited about five minutes and was called back. My tech Khan was very friendly and made everything a breeze. I laid on the bed feet first and he put a few heart electrodes on my chest. The bed raises and slides you into the center of the CT machine. It was not claustrophobic at all, and the CT machine spinning made very little noise. An automated voice instructs you to hold your breath twice for about five seconds, and then again twice for about 15 seconds as the bed slowly moves back and forth through the ring taking images. The process only took about five minutes, and I was in and out of the office in about fifteen minutes. I took the test on a Friday afternoon and the results will be sent to my doctor and posted in their online portal for me to view on Monday. Insurance usually doesn't cover this test, and the cash price was only $200. I had a great experience here, and will look forward to coming back in five years.

I especially want to mention Gabriel P and Josh H, who took my X-rays. They were both professional, efficient, and made the whole process quick and smooth. Gabriel was amazing -- very friendly, funny, and extremely professional at the same time. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the appointment, which I really appreciated. You can tell he genuinely cares about patients and enjoys his job. Josh was also very kind, respectful, and helpful, and together they made the experience much easier and less stressful. Thank you both for the excellent service!

Now The U/S tech was horrible her name is Leyna...I had a appointment to come in to get the work done she wanted to know who called me the day before to tell me to drink water she went on asking I'm like I don't know here for my appointment she stated do I have the imaging for the hospital I stated no that's why my doctor referred me here ...so she said that I would not be able to take me today .long story short I don't no what was the issue with her in the front desk she step out got on the phone to call a manager then I took it upon myself to call my doctor and ask if they can forward or email any images whatever they have because Leyna did not want to do my ultrasound/CT so now I ask for the fax # to send what my doctor have she comes back in the office still on the phone with her ear pods listen asking why I called she still can't do it because she need to compare them ....I feel if that's something she need you guys should have stated that when I scheduled the appt in when I got the call ahead didn't appreciate that ,I never had this problem before not wanting 40 min for Leyna to figure out what she was going to do but I wonder if it was just my race because none of that made any sense to me or worrying about who called me what was their name and why I didn't have my images so this experience which was June 10 was terrible and I just feel that that tech needs to get it together just go somewhere else
