The front desk, although not overly personable, are friendly and efficient. We each checked in with ease on both of our visits. The lobby has a few chairs, however there is room for more and I suggest they add some additional chairs as during both visits patients were standing for part of their wait. Bathroom is clean, office is tidy. Wait times for each appointment were not bad at all. Scheduling our appointments was also within a reasonable time. Parking is marked on the street for Shin patients at no cost, which is nice because this area is really tough to find easy parking and what is easy to find will cost you. Only one of our visits were we able to take advantage of the reserved spots, but very nice that they have them available. Now to the MRI. My husband is very claustrophobic and told them both on the appointment setting and in the office prior to the MRI. We both felt that the techs could have been a bit more sensitive to that. He felt like he was barely on the table when they shoved him into the machine without saying a word or warning. He was not mentally prepared for this. My husband is definitely no wuss, trust me, he's a rugged man's man through and through, but his claustrophobia is straight up real. His 45 minute MRI was cut short to 10 minutes because the anxiety got too high for him. The anxiety is not the technicians' fault, but maybe had they been a bit more sensitive to his phobia and gently eased him in, it may not have been so bad. He did return a week later with some comforting valium and the awareness that he would be flung down the chamber like a dude at a water park. He successfully made it through that second test. Now he's prepared. During my MRI, I did notice that they get you done in a hurry. It did not bother me one bit as I have no claustrophobia at all. Paying attention to the swiftness of the loading into the machine, my husband was right, they get you in fast. My headphones weren't even on my ears yet and away I went into the canal. But, again, for me it was fine, just noticing it since my husband was so sensitive to it. All-in-all, Shin was a great place to have our MRIs done, the ease of appointment setting, the wait time, the efficiency, the parking. Great job with all of this!! Our only suggestion is that when you have someone with true claustrophobia, a little extra care, compassion, and preparedness would be nice. Great job Shin! Would have no problem returning... and honestly neither would my husband, he'll just need the valium and the self-given pep talk first.

Check-in was quick and easy, and they answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. It really stood out to me as I'm not used to this level of service with the front desk staff at medical facilities unfortunately. Even though the office was busy when I went, (so plan for that), everything went smoothly and the staff was kind and professional the whole time. It's nice to be greeted by someone with a positive attitude, especially when you're already a little nervous about going in. Sometimes places like this can be intimidating since you don't know what you're walking into but they do a good job of making you feel at ease. Overall, it was as smooth as can be, and I definitely appreciate the customer service since that can really make or break the experience of a visit. I'd definitely recommend this office to others and if I ever need to come back I'll be sure to find a way to make it here, if possible.

Luckily, my score was 0 (perfect) five years ago, and it was time for a recheck. This time, I was referred to Imaging Partners in Orange. I called to schedule an appointment and Elyssa was so friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation and were able to book me only two days out. She took all of my prerequisite information quickly and sent me a link to complete some paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was impressed by their very modern and clean facility. Check-in was a breeze since I completed the forms online ahead of time. I only waited about five minutes and was called back. My tech Khan was very friendly and made everything a breeze. I laid on the bed feet first and he put a few heart electrodes on my chest. The bed raises and slides you into the center of the CT machine. It was not claustrophobic at all, and the CT machine spinning made very little noise. An automated voice instructs you to hold your breath twice for about five seconds, and then again twice for about 15 seconds as the bed slowly moves back and forth through the ring taking images. The process only took about five minutes, and I was in and out of the office in about fifteen minutes. I took the test on a Friday afternoon and the results will be sent to my doctor and posted in their online portal for me to view on Monday. Insurance usually doesn't cover this test, and the cash price was only $200. I had a great experience here, and will look forward to coming back in five years.

While I was waiting to schedule an appointment, I could clearly hear an employee, whom another staff member identified as Lily, discussing highly personal matters with coworkers in a public area. The conversation included details about family issues and the use of offensive language to describe family members like "bitch" and "whore". And to also hear that her son is going to jail or something related to that . This was inappropriate for a professional healthcare environment and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for patients. I was also concerned by the way Lily interacted with other employees. From what I observed, her communication came across as disrespectful and dismissive. The staff appeared overwhelmed and uncomfortable, which reflected poorly on the workplace environment. Additionally, I noticed her spending time on her phone rather than appearing focused on work responsibilities. Because of this experience, I decided not to schedule my appointment and will be seeking care elsewhere.

She was one of the nicest front desk person we've met so far and everything went smoothly. The machines here are the newer ones so you don't have to remove your clothing or shoes to get an MRI. The technician was also very nice and everything was done faster than I thought it would take. The woman at the front desk with the outdated bleached hair seriously needs to have her attitude…read morechecked. The level of rudeness and arrogance is completely unacceptable, especially in a medical office. People come here because they are sick, worried, and nervous about what they may be diagnosed with. Nobody is asking the front desk staff to be warm and fuzzy, but basic politeness and professionalism should be the bare minimum. My mother had an appointment, and I walked up to the front desk to sign her in. This woman completely ignored me. I stood there waiting, not knowing whether I was supposed to sign something, sit down, or continue standing there. Finally, I had to ask, "Am I just supposed to stand here?" Her response was simply, "Yes." Seriously? What kind of customer service is that? You work at the front desk. You do not own the office, and you are not doing patients or their families a favor by acknowledging them. There is absolutely no reason to treat people as though they are beneath you or an inconvenience. She needs to be removed from the front desk and retrained on how to interact with patients and their families. If you dislike dealing with people that much, perhaps a front-facing position in a medical office is not the right job for you. And unfortunately, the older woman sitting next to her wasn't much better. What is going on with the front desk at this place? The technicians in the back, on the other hand, were very nice and professional. It's unfortunate that the people patients encounter first leave such an awful impression of the entire office. Management seriously needs to address this. Patients deserve basic respect, especially when they're already walking into a medical office worried about their health.

Walking me through the whole process and keeping me informed of what is happening. Plus adding humor to the whole thing really made me relax. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the front desk staff. As a person who manages a medical office I understand what should be expected when you walk in to a place like this. When I stepped in it seemed the main person in the front computer was on the phone while the one in the back was just on the computer. Neither one acknowledged me as I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. The one that was on the phone eventually asked me if I had an appt. That was it "no hello welcome" nothing. To me that's just bad manners and terrible customer service. As I was leaving I had to wait for Mario to hand my disc copy of my images and once he gave it to me that was it once the again they were on the phone I wasn't sure if I had to do anything else or if we were done with the appt. I understand being busy and having patients on the phone but a quick "hi welcome take a sit I'll be right with you" goes a long way and more if it's the first time a patient comes in for these exams. Thank you again Mario for your awesome care and amazing customer service!
