We have been coming to him because he is trustworthy and he actually listens to you and shows genuine concern and interest in your well-being. That being said we decided to go ahead and bring our girls with us to get their first adjustments. He was very gentle with them and thorough and answered all of our questions, and we felt very good about taking them. I started off being petrified of having my neck cracked, manipulated, whatever you want to call it. BUT, I needed to do it because I have major discomfort at the base of my neck. Dr Hoops is an amazing chiropractor! Have been going to Hoops for over 10 years since the beginning days of his practice. I have since moved 45 minutes away and have tried several chiropractors nearby and none compare to Hoops. So I make the long drive just to see him. Dr. Hoops is very good at adjusting my spine, he is very good at addressing my concerns, which are usually neck and shoulders, and lower spine. My pain usually goes away after one session, but I like going back for periodic maintenance. His staff is friendly and can usually fit me in on the same day if needed. read more

This place is amazing! My best friend suggested this place, because he has gone here a few times. He let me know that it will help align my back and hips. I was all sorts of crooked. The first alignment is 80 and that price seemed reasonable to me. Then any alignment after is 45!!! I definitely wanted to do this. Also when I called the lady told me I can fill the paper work out at home, by printing from their website so I won't have to wait longer when I come in. Wait wasn't long at all. I was really scared but Terri was really encouraging and comforting. He assets me to see my movements. Some were pretty funny. Like a game. Haha. And he was also easy to talk to which made it easy to be comfortable. He even let me bring my best friend in so I would feel less worried. After all the cracking I felt light, movement was easy and my body automatically wanted to be straight. It didn't hurt to stand straight. I didn't realize how straight and loose my body feels. I legit wanted to sleep after. I felt so relaxed. My endorphins were for sure released. So two things. I highly suggest going to a chiropractor!! I also suggest to go here!! Magic hands hoops and Joselyn!! I came here the first time in immense pain, hoops did his thing and I felt relief a few days later. I decided to then come backs a month later for a massage and adjustment right after. Whoa!!! Joselyn really gets in there and works the hell out of the crazy shoulder knots. I was so relaxed I fell asleep. My adjustment after went even smoother because I was loosened up enough where Hoops worked even further magic on my back. Calling for an appointment is the first of its many positive attributes. The receptionist is always professional and they sound like they enjoy the atmosphere and happy to be there. Ive had luck finding same-day appointments or placing me on the cancel list in case something opens up. Dr. Hoops is by far one of the best in the field. His approach is inviting, collaborative, and professional, which makes the entire experience successful. Dr. Hoops is a miracle worker! I was experiencing upper back pain for a few weeks and I was struggling trying to figure out if it was my mattress or if i was experiencing inflammation in my spine. But after Dr. Hoops adjusted my upper back I slept like a baby! I now know that it isn't my bed or inflammation but rather just a spine that was out of place and only needed adjustment. Got a 3-session Groupon for this place and, sad to say, I just had my last appointment. The first two massage sessions I had Terri and she was fantastic. Halfway through the massage, I thought to myself, "I hope this never ends..." as I drifted back to the state of nirvana. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and provided a therapeutic atmosphere conducive for a relaxing massage. She does lather you in oils and I broke out after our massage sessions, but that could be due to the toxins that are released through the massage. My last massage I had with Wendy who was also pleasant to work with, but I do have some gripes about this session. First off, the door of her massage room doesn't close all the way so the noise of the whole office was disruptive to the whole experience. I heard clunky heels and children jumping around and it was very irritating. Not Wendy's fault but the people working there should attend to that door and the noise of the entire office. Secondly, Wendy just didn't provide the pressure & strength I was looking for, although I made it known that I did like full, strong pressure and had a very high tolerance for pain. Other than that, Wendy was great and I did enjoy the lotion she used (lavender or eucalyptus). I went with lavender- it smelled great and left my skin so soft without being greasy. I will return here soon! Definitely snatch that Groupon deal when you can! read more

This was my first chiropractic experience, and I had only done one acupuncture treatment prior. I had been dealing with lower back pain for nearly four years, which had slowly began worsening, which forced me to adapt to the pain until I finally decided I needed a change. I found Hoops Chiro on Yelp, and since it was close to me, I figured I'd take a visit. Parking is relatively easy since the location is in a large parking lot next to a grocery store and small restaurants. The inside is clean and well kept, and the front desk receptionist was very friendly (both over the phone and in person). Dr. Hoops was very knowledgeable, explaining what he feels may help correct my lower back pain. He performed a few quick and painless corrections, which immediately alleviated my pain. After two visits, I am nearly pain free! This was my first visit in a very long time to a chiropractor and I was very proud since he said I am pretty healthy, but definitely need to fix the way I sleep. I don't often do reviews on Yelp but I think it is overdue and what Dr Hoops deserves. I actually first went to Dr Hoops back in 2019 when I had an issue with my right back and he fixed it with several adjustments and an electrical therapy. Two weeks ago I overstretched my left lower back and initially went to Joint Chiropractic where the doctor there did not do a good job at my back and asked me to come back. I did not go back there and the lower back kept bothering me for two weeks. Then I thought of Dr Hoops and made the appointment on the same day as I called on Friday 7/30/2021. Found a deal on Groupon and it took me a while to schedule my first appointment. I don't know why I waited so long! I've had two out of three massages with Terri and she's an absolute charm. Good pressure throughout and if ever it becomes too much, I let her know and she adjusts accordingly. I've had neck and shoulder pain which I've gone to acupuncture for in the past, and it does the job but there's nothing like a good massage. I'm sad to say that I have one last visit with my Groupon, but happy I found this place and will be back for another relaxing session.
