After years of pain in my neck and back, I decided to seek chiropractic care for the first time. I found Advantage Care Chiropractic through my insurance. I feel like a lot of people have preconceived ideas of what a visit to the chiropractor entails (Instagram/TikToks of sudden, potentially scary twisting of the body and lots of cracking/popping), but I went in with an open mind. The office ladies were very sweet and I had done all the paperwork prior to my visit so I was quickly taken to a room. Dr. Cardenas walked me through the different parts of the spine, did my X-Rays and nerve scans, and gave me my first adjustment all in our first appointment (while it did have lots of cracking and popping, it was so much more relieving than scary). Since then, he's walked me through my scans and put together a treatment plan for me. I look forward to going in for my adjustments and I already feel a lot of that original pain I've felt for so long fading away. I highly recommend Dr. Cardenas for regular maintenance, traumatic injury treatments and pain relief. He is very knowledgable and offers in depth consultations and prognosis using X-rays and advanced technology at his clinic. His staff is also very kind and helpful. My lower back was severely injured causing paralysis in my left leg and horrible pain. Dr. Cardenas showed me my injury in an X-ray and I started therapy immediately. He gave me hope and within a week I was almost without pain and able to start using my leg. It has been a couple of months now, I am stronger, walking again and without pain. We have all been to those chiropractors who are scam artistZ they knew before they even see you that there going to up-sale you a package of 15+ visits. They feels slimey and no one likes them. Advantage is the opposite of that. I went in for maintenance care because I have a history of some lower back issues and I was pleasantly surprised when the doctor created a treatment plan that achieved all my goals, not sale me a package he sales to all his patients. Dr. Cardenas has magic hands. I have been to my fair share of chiropractors and they ALL seem to have difficulty adjusting my neck on my right side. Not Dr. Cardenas. He had a different technique that I hadn't experienced before and was able to just get my neck to release. It is very obvious that he enjoys what he does. I don't normally leave reviews, but I had to in this case. I've been wanting to go to a chiropractor for years but I heard many misconceptions of how getting adjusted can leave you worse off than before and other similar misgivings. While that can be true if you go to a less experienced chiropractor, it definitely was not the case with Dr. Cardenas. I was referred my many of my family members who have been going to him for a while now and they all gave glowing recommendations. I had the best first experience at his office. He was extremely knowledgeable, charismatic, friendly and most important of all, did an amazing job. I was feeling kind of lost as to why my lower back was so tight, why I favored my left side, why my neck was so stiff and why it all kept getting worse after hitting my 30s. During the first half of the appointment, he helped to identify all of the issues I was currently feeling and gave me a breakdown of what was causing it using top of the line digital imaging and x-rays. Just knowing why was a major relief. The second half of the appointment was spent doing the actual adjustments. He guided me each step of the way as to why he was doing a certain adjustment and how I will feel after. I felt completely comfortable the entire time. Dr. Cardenas really knows what he is doing and only years of experience can give you that kind of confidence. My lower back and neck are already feeling much better. I've been to a few Chiropractors over the years and Dr. Cardenas is by far the most professional. He is a good guy that you can talk to. He listens to your concerns and explains everything. GAME CHANGER! I am sitting in the parking lot after I had my massage with Terri and an adjustment from Dr. Cardenas. I have to stop and post this now before I get busy with work, and family. My husband, my son, my brother and sister-in-law, everyone has been helped by this office. I love to get a massage first to get loosened up for my adjustment. We have been seeing Dr Cardenas for over 16 years now ever since my son was 2 and my daughter has not been born yet. They are now 18 and 14. So we experienced many years of sessions with him through my pregnancy and every time I have a question or had to get answers about chiropractic care, Dr Cardenas has a very educated answer. My children grew up having chiropractic care and thankfully they do not get ill during the so called "flu season" or on any other season. They each had to go through medical conditions when they were toddlers and I chose this route to get rid of any medications.
