The Yelp deals only apply for chiropractic services only. The acupuncturists and massage therapists are independents and are not included in the Yelp deal. You would need to pay the regular cash rate for acupuncture and massage.

I quit bedside nursing after five years because of it; my back couldn't handle it. I'd subscribed wholly to the idea that scoliosis is a degenerative condition and I would only continue to get worse. So, I did. I've seen multiple chiropractors for many years and still I'd progressed to living with pain that was consistently a 5 out of 10. I was chronically depressed, overweight, and hopeless about my declining condition and my future. Then I met Dr. Singer and here is what's changed in just one month's time: 1. Pain reduced from a consistent 5/10 to an intermittent 1/10. 2. I WANT to exercise now and I'm not exhausted and in pain after doing it. 3. Significantly improved digestion. My stomach is telling me that it doesn't want to eat as much anymore. I am WAY less hungry, go much longer between meals, and have already cut one meal because I didn't need it. Candy seems disgusting now and I actually crave healthy foods. This isn't a mindset change, I can feel that my chemistry is VERY different. 4. Sleep. Oh my Lord do I sleep well now. I used to sleep okay-ish but I'd wake up exhausted. Now I wake up before the alarm feeling rested thinking, "That's different." Dr. Singer is a healer and so are we, with his guidance. All the pharmaceuticals, surgeries and cardio in the world can't give you what he can. But, you've got work to do because this is a partnership. I did the tests he suggested, I take the supplements he recommended and I do the exercises he prescribed and it has all been well worth it. I decided to look into other options and did a search for places I could pay out of pocket. When I lived in Mexico, I had been using the services at a local hospital, paying a monthly membership fee for their services so imagine my surprise when I found out that the exact same system existed here. That was when I found Dr. Marisse so I booked an appointment. I found her originally on Zocdoc and the nearest appointment was in a month and a half. Within a day of making the appointment, I was called by the office to Nurse Shawna who wanted to make sure that I knew that all appointments needed a preliminary chat with the Doc, after which I could book my appointment. thanked me for letting her know that the next available appointment was that far away. It turned out there was a mix-up and that she did have more immediate appointments available. There is plenty of parking, as it is in shared parking lot with other businesses. However, there are two buildings with the same building number but with different locale numbers. Upper Echelon is in the building nearest to the AAA and the Farmer Boys. At the appointment, everything was clearly explained and we went over a sort of plan of attack, with regards to my concerns and what I needed to do. I appreciated paying less per month for the membership, which includes as many appointments as you want. The lab work and the tests are at wholesale prices so even with the membership fee and registration, all of this was cheaper than the plan I was going to get with insurance. What I appreciated was the quickness of getting an appointment. I have always hated waiting a few weeks, as a new patient, before actually being seen but I was able to book this within a week of the appointment. It was a week because their availability interfered with my work hours. Otherwise, I would have been seen earlier. All in all, it is pretty convenient and a wallet-friendly option. After that first appointment and the lab results came in, Dr. Marisse wrote a VERY long email detailing every point of concern. Which I appreciated because I went for answers and I was getting them. If you need a straightforward person to tell you what you need to be doing and not someone who has to be on your ass every step of the way, this is the ideal option. I would say the ONLY con is that they do not have appointments during the weekends. And since I work during the week, I have to take time off to go to an appointment.

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

The office refused to treat me, for a raging bladder infection that they tested me for, even though I'm a regular annual patient. I refused to pay the $50 to come BACK to the office the same day, for the RX. 3. His physicians assistant incorrectly diagnosed me as having HPV. And I had to go to another doctor for an incredibly painful procedure, all for nothing. I did not have HPV. 4. In my opinion Kurtz now has a God complex, he didn't used to. ***5. THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME, AFTER I LEFT MY URINE SAMPLE....UNLESS I PAID WHAT FEELS LIKE A $50 EXTORTION FEE, in order to give me my prescription. When the doctor says they don't hold back care because of an unpaid balance, that is entirely incorrect, and I believe he's lying. His behavior is reprehensible, and he is fully aware of this. Don't say you weren't warned. ....*add the fact that he stands by his uneducated and extremely unprofessional staff, says even more. Do better Dr Kurtz. We ended up going to Dr Annette Bernhut in Orange and she is AWESOME. She cares about you as a person, vs you being the enemy

I have been meaning to post this review for awhile and it is way overdue. I first visited this practice a few years ago when it was at another location near the mall and I was in town for a few days. My friend has been going to see both Dr. James and Dr. Anastasia for years and has always raved about them. I was able to be squeezed in when I had a weird sharp pain in my mid back. Dr. James helped me. It turns out I had a rib that was out of place and causing a lot of pain. At that time, I was really impressed with how friendly the doctors were and how they took the time to explain things to me. When I went back home, I would go to a chiropractor from time to time to get an adjustment but would think to myself that I wish there was a place like this closer to me. I moved out here a few months ago and when my back started hurting from unpacking and moving boxes, I remembered Lander Chiropractic and came back. I was so glad that I did. I was still in between insurances and the staff was so patient answering my questions and checking my insurances. They gave me great options. The first time I went back I saw Dr. James again. Once again, he was very friendly and informative. He took the time to explain what was going on and not try to sell me on going to see him three times a week for the rest of my life. I wound up getting a massage from Maria. WOW! Is that woman strong. She is probably the strongest and best massages I have ever received. The next time I went in, there were two women that were VERY pregnant and were walking around the office. Dr. Anastasia was taking turns treating each woman. What was very apparent is that this isn't just a doctors office. The doctors and staff genuinely seem to care about each the people that come to the door. I have now been treated by both Dr. James and Dr. A and both are very professional and very skilled. Alyssa is also a massage therapist and she has massaged me and has magic hands. She really helped me with my tendonitis. From the staff to the therapists and especially the doctors, this place is the real deal. I usually am apprehensive of places that have 5 star reviews but after coming here for a few months I can see why the doctors have earned the rave reviews. They even adjust infants and children. I had been having lower right back stiffness for many years now. It would hurt and I can feel it, but I wouldn't say it was painful, I would just stretch my back out and I would be fine enough. Sometimes though, I would wake up at night feeling that lower back pressure and I would have to get out of bed to stretch before going back to sleep. After hearing Dr. Anastasia's speak at her networking group, BNI, I finally decided, maybe I should see someone about this and I've never seen a chiropractor in my life. After one session, my issue was diagnosed, it all came down to how I was sitting and sleeping, and I walked away from that session feeling fabulous! Dr. James and Anastasia Lander are two of the greatest people I have the pleasure of knowing. They both are not only exceptional Chiropractors but they are incredible friends with big hearts to help people. I would like to thank both Dr. Landers for going above and beyond the call of duty. Dr. Anastasia Lander has been helping my 8 year old daughter and we love going there. But recently I was in excruciating pain and needed immediate attention on a day that she was off but she made arrangements for me to see Dr. James and shorty after I walked in the office and he took great care of me. The team at Lander chiropractic is the real deal. I was dealign with chronic ankle pain after a severe fall about two years ago. Since then I kept seeing massage therapist, chiropractors and acupuncturist but the pain would return. It was very hard for me to be in heels for long periods of time. During our first visit they utilized innovative machines that helped. They also taught me at home exercises to accelerate the healing process. Since that visit over a month I've had zero pain. About 15 years ago, I used to go to a chiropractor to get adjusted. For some reason I stopped going, and fast forward to 2020, and I hit 50 year old. I felt like I am falling apart and start getting lower back pain, and bones that used to not crick are now cricking and cracking. My insurance changed (for the better!) and offered chiropractic benefits in their new alternative medicine package. Dr. Miller was on the list, so I called and got an appointment for a Thursday afternoon. During the Covid19 time, appointments are required, as well as masks. The staff sanitizes the pen you use to sign in, and limits the number of people in the office. After filling out my paperwork, and signing my life away I met with Dr. Miller who had me do some tests, from a posture test, a stretching test, etc to see my mobility and capability of my body. After accessing my range of motion, she asked for my permission to do a few adjustments. It was just like I remembered... as soon as she gave me a few clicks, I felt relief. Fact is: my body needed to get realigned... like a car. I have poor posture (my fault for being a slouch) so over the years my body adapted to my laziness. She told me what I should expect 24-48 hours after the appointment (ie: soreness, etc.) and what to do. Before the appointment I had issues going to bed. Even after 1 appointment, I felt much better as I retired for the night. I'm very pleased with my initial appointment, and look forward in my next one coming up in a week as she slowly tweeks me back to getting realigned.
