Quick question about the yelp deal, is that useable for either acupuncture or massage therapy?

The Yelp deals only apply for chiropractic services only. The acupuncturists and massage therapists are independents and are not included in the Yelp deal. You would need to pay the regular cash rate for acupuncture and massage.

My wife has had back issues even before pregnancy. However, with pregnancy, she was experiencing bad back pain even from before 20 weeks pregnant. I knew we needed to do something because it would only get worse. We asked a friend of ours who had a similar issue with her back and her recommendation was to find a chiropractor who specialized in pregnancies. Unfortunately, her chiropractor was way too far for us. I took a look on Yelp and found Dr. Anne with a flawless track record. 5/5 stars and many reviews to back it up. I read through a good amount of them and knew I wanted my wife to come here. I called and the receptionist was very friendly and answered some questions that I had upfront. After a day or two of considering whether or not we wanted to go down this path, we decided that it was worth the investment to see Dr. Anne. Granted, seeing her will probably not be covered under your insurance and it is not cheap, but so worth it. My wife has been seeing her since right around week 20 and has been coming every other week. She is always so relaxed and feels so much better after an adjustment with Dr. Anne. Here's a tip... make sure you can have time to take a nap afterwards because my wife always feels so relaxed and tired after her session! Overall, Dr. Anne has been a huge life saver and I couldn't imagine how my wife could have done pregnancy without her. Thank you so much Dr. Anne!!

There was no sense of feeling rushed and she was extremely patient with us. Even when our daughter was being shy and not giving us the best angles, Terri didn't rush us or settle for "ok photos", she had my wife try different laying down positions to try and get the best angles. The stuffed animal with the heartbeat was a sweet surprise we didn't realize came included in our package. Follow along, I'll explain…read more After leaving an a updated review of a not so pleasant second experience, the owner and ultrasound technician both made it a point to get a hold of me & and not only apologize for my previous experience, they offered to give me a rescan at no charge. The only reason behind them doing so was to offer me the experience and service that I deserved. I went in today for my rescan & was greeted by the owner herself. What a wonderful person she is by the way! It looked like she had hired a few more people, which is great because this will minimize interruptions for the working tech. I was quickly taken back to the room and the scan began. Both the ultrasound technician and the owner were working together to get the best picture possible (again, I have an anterior placenta, so understandably it's difficult) they managed to get some really good pictures! The owner was very patient & she was genuinely interested in catching the baby's features in every picture she could capture. She always asked if I was ok or felt uncomfortable, It was a great experience from beginning to end. It was a pleasure coming back & the owner was thankful that we did and that we gave her the opportunity to regain our business. The fact that she went out of her way to make sure I had a perfect experience really shows how much she values her customers and her business. I respect and appreciate that. I appreciate how calm and nurturing she is while staying firm in her knowledge of pregnancy, birth, and of a woman's body overall. Her care is holistic and evidence-based, and she makes her clients actual partners in their care. We never did anything that I was uncomfortable with (which is almost unheard of in a hospital birth). When I started to go overdue, she was there to reassure me, and because she genuinely trusts the process of birth, she helped me trust my body as well. I had an absolutely amazing birth experience that my husband and I wouldn't trade for anything. My baby is two now (sorry this is so late!), but I still think of Ana often and so fondly. She became part of our family for the time she was with us and I will always love her for helping me have the birth experience of my dreams (even at 43 years old). Thank you Ana!

My experience with Labor of Love was almost two years ago now but continues to upset me when thinking back on my experience. We hired Lauren as our doula, who made it clear she expected us to go far past my due date as a first time mom. While it's possible for that to happen, it didn't in my case. At 39 weeks and at 5am while in active labor and getting ready to head to the hospital, she let us know she had Covid. Her backup was Karen, who I wish we hired to begin with as she is far more caring and professional. Though unfortunately our experience still fell short and we ultimately delivered without Karen present. We were left feeling like we invested a lot of emotion and money into this process with ultimately no help. Staci has been incredibly rude to us since then and even revoked our access to watch her training videos, sending me a link to pay her once again when wanting to rewatch for our now second baby on the way. Karen herself even recommended we ask for a partial refund due to our experience, but Staci lacks the professionalism and courtesy to her clients. Truly mindblowing that she revoked access to the training videos after we had already paid for them. I would stay far away and recommend a more experienced and caring doula group.

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

I refused to pay the $50 to come BACK to the office the same day, for the RX. 3. His physicians assistant incorrectly diagnosed me as having HPV. And I had to go to another doctor for an incredibly painful procedure, all for nothing. I did not have HPV. 4. In my opinion Kurtz now has a God complex, he didn't used to. ***5. THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME, AFTER I LEFT MY URINE SAMPLE....UNLESS I PAID WHAT FEELS LIKE A $50 EXTORTION FEE, in order to give me my prescription. When the doctor says they don't hold back care because of an unpaid balance, that is entirely incorrect, and I believe he's lying. His behavior is reprehensible, and he is fully aware of this. Don't say you weren't warned. ....*add the fact that he stands by his uneducated and extremely unprofessional staff, says even more. Do better Dr Kurtz. We ended up going to Dr Annette Bernhut in Orange and she is AWESOME. She cares about you as a person, vs you being the enemy
