Tractor brand agua frescas are refreshing. I like the tangerine with cardamom, mixed with unsweetened tea. The fries were a tad overcooked, golden. I prefer mine a little softer. They were smash fries with a sort of mojo seasoning sauce, citrusy. The place might look closed from the outside, but they're probably open. My mother got the classic burger, which she enjoyed, and I got the avocado bacon black bean burger which I didn't actually enjoy too much. I don't think I'll be returning as I've had problems on several different occasions. My brother is celiac and has a NIMA device. He tested the fries (which we requested be cooked in a separate fryer since they have onion rings) and the NIMA found traces of gluten. They were good about his burger and packed it up separately. On a different occasion, I ordered a burger with no onions and received onions, which really just concerns me for people with celiac since they did not follow instructions- what if my brother does not get a gluten free bun by accident? It was the first time I came to this location on a weekend and it was nice to see it busy. The two ladies working yesterday afternoon were very friendly, professional and courteous. The young lady Emma who rang up the order I've seen regularly and she's always the same regardless of the time or day I've been before. They need to post accurate hours for the benefit of customers. Last week I got out of work late and showed up here at 9:30 pm (they say they close at 10 pm). The door was locked and they had randomly decided to close early. Then, yesterday, almost the exact same thing happened. I arrived at 9:15 PM, went in and ordered. The cashier then told me they were closing in 15 minutes, despite it saying 10 PM on the door. Why not tell the customers your real hours before they order, so they can decide whether 5 minutes is enough time to scarf down a huge dinner? Thankfully they refunded me and I was able to enjoy a fine burger at Five Guys across the street. But this was all highly inconvenient. Seems like a simple fix: update the hours on your door from 10 pm to 9 pm so you aren't misleading customers and promising something you can't deliver. REVIEW UPDATE: The manager of this location asked me to email them about my concern in hopes of fixing the problem. I sent that email two weeks ago and no one has even replied. This is hands down my favorite place to get a good burger! More than that though, they have such awesome sides; I literally go out of my way to get their Brussels sprouts on occasion. The service is always fast and friendly too! My only complaint is that the food can be a little too greasy at times, but I suppose you have to expect that when you get a hamburger. They also have an EXCELLENT rewards program! It's so easy to earn $10 off your order, which essentially pays for your meal. I usually join rewards programs at various restaurants, but this is the first one that's actually been legitimately rewarding (compared to other places that give you a free drink or something after like 20 purchases). I've been here a few times, not sure I'll go back when there's so many other burger places around. The burgers aren't bad, but everything is sooo salty. Last time we went we ordered the buffalo fries, which were supposed to come with a side of ranch. After we paid, they told us they were out of ranch but could sub buffalo sauce. We were disappointed but said ok. The buffalo sauce tasted really weird. As we were about to leave, an employee delivered a side of ranch to the table next to us. The time before that I ordered onion strings. They were all delivered in one big doughy clump. I don't think they were stirred in the fryer at all or something.
