    Potato Hotdog

CrunCheese is so much fun and so delicious! If you've never tried Korean corn dogs before, this is the place to do it. The outside is perfectly crispy, and the inside is gooey and cheese with a great cheese pull. The potato hot dog is a must-try--the crunchy potato chunks on the outside take it to the next level. The staff is friendly and efficient. Everything comes out hot and fresh, and the vibe is fun and casual. Great spot for a snack or a quick bite! Just be aware that there is no seating, it is more of a grab and go situation.

Tasty food! Got the potatomozz (vegetarian - no meat) option with the flaming Cheeto dust and ketchup. Feedback: tasted great. They dump the dust on top instead of rolling it. I would prefer it was fully coated. I made the mistake of ordering ketchup on the side - get it on top. Thai tea was good and worth the price. Staff were nice. Store is very simple. Very simple. Handwritten signs and all. Would visit again.

I am so sorry to do this! I'm just missing something! I had a little time to kill and I had always wanted to try this place, but the line was always very long. I am not sure why! So I walked in and no one was there. There were 3 girls waiting and no employees. Anyhow, shortly after, a young man appeared to take my order. I'm not aware of the Korean hot dog scene other than it looks so cool! I ordered the mozzarella/hotdog/potato. It took a few minutes and then the employee reemerged from the back and asked what sauces I wanted. I chose, ketchup, mustard and garlic parm. I waited a couple of minutes and took a bite. I was stunned at how there was zero taste! The sauces didn't even do anything! I was super disappointed and took another bite of the top which was mozzarella and the bottom was the hot dog. The quality of the hot dog wasn't good and I ended up trashing it, right then and there outside. I'm sure I'm missing something but this isn't somewhere I would try again. The place looked clean though, despite about 3/4 employees being in the back hanging out.

The restaurant itself has no place to sit. You just walk in order and then take your stuff to go. It has seen better days. It looks very grubby and beaten up. people that work there are nice enough, but there were only two when I went in and the crowd was kind of hard for them to keep up with. The food itself is just a hot dog deep fried and batter or cheese deep Bread And Butter with various toppings not really worth it.

What a charming and enjoyable spot for a quick snack! The food is very affordable and delicious. For those steering away from hotdogs, there are vegetarian options available, I personally loved the Potato Mozzarella stick. While it's obviously not the healthiest dining option, Cruncheese satisfies that craving for something indulgently fatty and savory. No inside seating available but there are a couple covered tables outside. You order at the counter and pickup your food when your number is called.

We were greeted upon entry and the cashier was very helpful assisting us by sharing the most popular dogs and her personal recommendations! CrunCheese is a small storefront restaurant with limited seating! I ordered the Mozzarella Hotdog with Potato! I added sugar, ketchup, honey mustard and some other sauces that were recommended! I liked that mozzarella cheese side much better than the hotdog but overall I had a great experience and I would definitely return!

Broken monitors, more awful paneling and wires just hanging.

Seems to be falling apart. Food and drinks are consistent which is a plus. For how busy it is, I would think they would invest in the actual building. It has been a big downfall from opening day.

Amazing corn dog with options to delish it in top. The service is nice and they explain the menu to you well. a good variety of sauces and flavor. a few seats outside to eat. the place can get packed. price is decent

So glad this spot opened up in Waterford because I always get a craving for cheese dogs. I've only tried the mozz and rice cake options and they're always delicious. I love dipping them in garlic Parmesan sauce on the side and getting Cheetos powder dusted on top. It is on the pricier side considering the ingredients used but it hits the spot when I'm in the area, and the staff is friendly.

First time stopping in last night and I was very happy with my mozzarella and cheddar dog. The cheese was nice and melted, the dough/batter was delicious and chewy with a great outer crunchiness. I definitely prefer this spot over the other option on Sandlake. I preferred the dough and expanded options here. This place offers more than just hot dogs and cheese. They recently added ham and cheese. I also saw a squid ink option! Only 4 stars because I really wish I could have has somewhere to sit inside and eat. Luckily it wasn't too hot and I was able to eat on a bench outside.

I heard about this place a while ago and haven't had the chance to visit it but last Sunday I was able to go in for a quick treat. I got the all mozzarella Korean corndog, added sugar and topped it with ketchup, mustard and honey mustard. It was so good! I already want to go back. I'm just so glad there's someplace like this where I can get Korean corndogs just how I like them.

I got thr mozzarella and hotdogs and it had some sugar in the outside. And there give a sauce of you want it.

The food was different for me I never had someone like this before. This was my first time here. Me and my son was done shopping and want something to eat and we saw this. We thought it was pretty good.

The potato mozza was amazing! Super crunchy. I added the garlic parmesan sauce and it was very tasty. The service was quick. Im only giving 4 stars because I think the place is currently being remodeled and they didn't have any tables or chairs to sit on. Overall, very good!

For this night we arrived at 5:45pm, right before the dinner rush hit. We did the Bite30 menu and between the 2 of us we had the deep fried beef dumplings, the buldak (spicy chicken), the Korean bbq combo, beef tongue, and for dessert we had the bungeopang and the hotteok. Everything was so delicious! Our waiter, Andy, was really really sweet and basically cooked the first tray of bbq for us and told us how he likes to use the banchan. He and my husband, who is Spanish, chatted about struggling to eat their culture's food growing up, which made me feel a little better about ordering my kid's chicken nuggets. We basically let him choose all of our food and he was spot on with all of his recs. If you can sit in Andy's section when you come, you must!!

My favorite meal of all time is Bibim Naengmyeon. I specifically came to try theirs out. I've had it at many restaurants, and have my own preferences on it. I'm unsure the official way it should be made or prepared, so this is only based off my preference. Theirs was chilly but not cold. For example, the apple slices were room temp, but the bowl was cold to touch. It didn't have ice in it, and the noodles were very chewy like japchae. So chewy that it was difficult to bite. They did provide scissors for this reason and the waitress cut it up a bit at the table before serving. The taste was fabulous. The classic flavor we know and love. I will definitely order it again even though it doesn't fully meet my personal preferences of ice and less chewy noodles. My table also got the dumplings and the dumpling ramen. Both were delicious. The lack of a star is for the service and the smell of the place. The smell wasn't of pleasant food, more like dirty dish water. I'm hoping this was a fluke. The service was dismissive, but efficient. I was ignored to my face, but I'm not too upset because everything came out fast and fine. I know this might bothers others though.

I got tempura that was coconut shrimp and sweet potato, corn cheese Rangoon and I got gochujang wings. Everything was fresh, super crispy, and had really good flavor. My daughter had chicken fritter with rice which really was just chicken tenders. They were cooked well and she enjoyed them. My parents had dolsot bibimbap which they said was pretty good. We waited around one hour, and the waiter kept telling us that our food was "almost done." When the food finally came, my husband's cold bowl was still missing, so we had to share the food we received. The bulgogi was extremely watery and tasted like it had a lot of MSG. On top of that, our waiter forgot our drinks, so I had to remind him. I also had to ask another waitress for utensils. Meanwhile, another table that arrived about 20 minutes after us received their food before we did. The waiter never checked on us or seemed to care about the situation. Given the poor service and long wait, we decided we were not going to leave a tip. At the end, he gave us an $18 discount, which we appreciated as at least an attempt to address the situation, although we were still very unhappy. But then things got even worse. The menu clearly stated that an automatic gratuity applies to parties of 5 or more. We were a party of 4, so that policy did not apply to us. However, when we paid with our credit card, we noticed that a $19 tip had been added automatically even though we had not authorized or agreed to leave a tip. After that, the waiter and waitress were nowhere to be found. We were exhausted and had two kids with us, so we decided to leave rather than spend even more time dealing with the situation. This entire experience was frustrating from beginning to end -- extremely slow service, missing food, forgotten drinks and utensils, poor food quality, and an unexpected tip added to our credit card despite the menu's stated automatic gratuity policy. Unfortunately, never again.
