Wonderful and kind staff. They were so friendly and our food is fantastic. We will happily be back again!

Service on the kitchen end was the worst I've EVER experienced. We had 3 orders 2 burgers 1 wing they came out at three different times, then they came out and said they were out of the sauce for the wings we ordered minutes after the order and 1person done eat. We walked in there was 1 person in there so it was due to it being busy just horrible management of the kitchen staff . read more

Been to Franklin and airport locations. Food tastes good if it's hot, but I won't ever go again due to slow (40 minutes in store to get all our food), cold food, with terrible service and excuses for the bad service. read more

This is sad because I use to really like this place. Food use to be good service was descent. Me and my wife went here for dinner tonight and the place was a disaster. A woman and younger boy where working up front and seemed to be trying there best. They were also nice. You could just tell that the management was terrible. Whoever is running things and in charge of organization is doing a bad job. Also chefs put little to know effort into the food. Terrible presentation and fried and tots were filled about half way full. We won't be back. Again wasn't the workers fault in my eyes just terrible management. read more

Dirty restaurant. Expensive burger, poor service. No fries. 10.45. Skip it and go somewhere good! read more

Horrible service! It's taken almost 30min to get our food! This is the last time we ever eat here!

The burgers and fries were good. Restrooms are in bad shape. I don't think the floors have been cleaned in a few weeks. Slick like ice.

terrible service, waiter are no help and fries were small. Building is well presented food was good but service was terrible!

We recently visited the smash burger on Franklin Avenue. It was quite a disappointment from what it had been in the past. The inside of the restaurant is starting to look very rundown and very dirty. If you walk up to the cashier to order you can see all kinds of stuff under, that workstation and the workstation that they put together the orders before they bring them to your table. It's very obvious that they don't sweep under there often at all. The wallpapers tearing off the wall in the booths. The staff looks just as rundown as the restaurant does. The food still tasted good however, it looks like it was thrown together instead of how it used to be nice and orderly. It just kind of makes you think of what the kitchen looks like back there. I don't think I will be returning. Are used to love Smashburger, this was very disappointing. read more

Just came back from Smashburger and will never go there again. Our small order (two burgers, two fries, Brussels sprouts and a drink) took thirty minutes. We were late to an appointment. They screwed up by burger order which I saw on the receipt and at first they tried to explain that they were right but then the manager came out and approached me again about it and realized they had got it wrong. He came back to me two other times to clarify the burger order!! It was a single mushroom Swiss burger with lettuce instead of bun. I don't know I guess that was super complicated. They seemed to be working hard but just too damn slow. Then my burger was well done which is the worst. read more

Our wait was extremely long and the facility was not busy at all.In my opinion, your workers do not work well, they work very slowly

Should have known by no other patrons inside, place is dirty not just the glass, tables but even the floors sticky. Menu confusion tried to order 2 simple meals and didn't work. Employee tried to help and cashier said sorry my error. Then the manager came out and accused us of wanting free food? Very poor skilled manager could not make something simple happen. Requested refund for food paid for and not eaten. Was denied and offered free side. BTW poor cashier it was her 1st day and she was left alone, and after me explaining that I was trying to help the manager and the simple issue. Still would not offer a refund and said tell me how I an fix the problems? Please hire competent people to manage and train people, and brush-up on the cleaning skills. 5 people working and 2 people that actually knew their job and or tried. Probably be out of business before years end! read more

The food took forever to get to us. When it did get to us: one burger was raw in the middle, the other was burnt. My kids hamburger buns were burnt. The place was filthy. I will not ever be going back. We are now next door at Cafe Rio having dinner read more

Diddly dee dum the smash fries were a bum. Ordered from either grub hub or door dash. (Can't remember) and the smash fries were cold and the burgers were barley warm. Very disappointed in the delivery service although the business itself is very good. read more

Possibly understaffed l. Nobody was at the counter for a good 20 minutes as I stood in line and it grew. After we ordered we waited another 15-20 minutes until we received our food. Food was underwhelming fries were stale, buns were stale, wings were not presentable at all! And to add to the experience a couple of the employees were having temper tantrums throwing things around in the kitchen and in the front as he was taking our order! Worst experience I've had! read more

Super yummy burgers and fries! No drive through but worth dragging all the kiddos in, they love it too

Entered the restaurant and we were greeted right away. The staff took our order without delay. Our order was prepared quickly and staff delivered it to us. We went home and we're pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ingredients and the flavor of those ingredients. Avocado was very fresh and the burger was done perfectly. We will visit this location again, you should stop by and give it a try. read more

I go to the Big Juds in Meridian off Eagle road. Every time I go their food is amazing! The staff is always really kind and prompt at seating us and serving us. I took my dad to Big Juds while he was here on Vacation. It was amazing as always, calm night, not to loud and the service was great. My dad loved Big Juds. read more

I have been waiting 27 minutes for my order. They are really really understaffed and can't keep up with an ordinary lunch rush. If you can't keep up with the people who show up to order & eat you shouldn't keep taking orders from third party delivery services. read more

Understaffed and over worked. Ordered 2 milk shakes, 1 Oreo and 1 Peanut Butter Cup. Gave us 2 Oreo. Burgers were overcooked missing simple ingredients, like lettuce and tomato. Fries were horrible!!! Would have asked for a refund but the line was out the door. read more

"A place to watch food sit in the window and sit a little longer." Lol I had a craving for Smash and haven't visited in awhile, so it's time for an update review.. to see if they still deserve 4 stars. I am giving them 3 now for the lack of service and dropping food quality. The main reason people go to SMASH is for fresh made burgers and fries, they are usually consistent on getting them out hot and juicy. So let's get to the Review . .. -Food- I ordered my fav BBQ cheddar bacon burger and it was hot, juicy, and tasted just as I had hoped. The fries however were hot yet lacked any seasoning as SMASH fries should. It seemed like I was given remaining normal fries drizzled with some oil and rosemary. Cleanliness- GREAT Service- I am not sure if they were back there kneeling In protest but it took FOREVER to get your food. Don't get me wrong, it got made fast but with only one server/cashier that is all it did was SIT. I can't believe this rock star was left to serve a whole dining room, a line of customers, and pack up to go orders. I almost stepped in to help him since no one else would. I took pictures of the Growing orders that were done at the window, some people waited 20 mins before their food was served. It is clear they were understaffed but it was 30 mins until someone came from the back (a cook) and actually helped. This is unacceptable and it seemed the people in the line shared the same opinion. As always you know I took PICS! read more

We ordered 5 burgers and they messed up all of them. There were ingredients missing and ingredients we requested removed on the burgers. I don't know who worked tonight but they obviously didn't care about quality at all. Thanks for wasting our money and time. Won't order from here anytime soon. read more

Waited for 30 minutes and never got my food. I ended up asking for a refund and leaving. Also, 22 dollars for a burger and fries? That's insane for (not) fast food. I wont be back, Smashburger has lost me as a customer. This wasn't the first time I have waited there either. Its been the last 4 times I have gone there. This was it though, no more for me. One star only because there isn't a zero stars option. read more

Word of advice, join the smash club! Good benefits to it! I went with a BBQ Bacon burger with a huckleberry milkshake and both were very good! My wife went with a turkey burger, the prices are so so, and its easy to get in and out of! The burger I had was very juicy, and the meat was overlapping the bun! This location is terrible!!! My friends and I just went here for our work lunch and Kailey was our cashier and bag packer. She was extremely rude, she was eating French fries and making herself a drink instead of doing her job while tons of people were waiting for their food. She was not doing her job at all and should be fired immediately. We waited an hour for our to go food and it was not edible at all. The burger was burnt and freezing cold! read more

The entire team at this location was focused on serving and were helpful and kind. The cashier helped us understand options and facilitated our Loyalty program points. Darryl was the guy who brought out our food and he personally made a few trips to the kitchen for other things we requested. Ridiculous pricing for what you get, the menu changes remove the variety and increase pricing and the food app that was supposed to give proper rewards resets its points system without warning or reason. Teetering 3-4 stars. I've been to several Smashburger locations, and this one did not ask about the smash club. I am accustomed to putting in my phone number to earn points. The host had no idea what the smash club was. When I pointed out on the bottom of the table number tag had a thing saying to join the smash club, she had a confused look and asked for a manager. The manager came and said that they don't do the smash club. He didn't seem to know much about the program. So why is it on the table tags marketing to join the smash club? I'm disappointed. The chicken truffle sandwich was also greasy and flat looking, unlike the photos of other burgers on the menu. The taste was there but the look was lacking. The sweet potato fries were nice. Hot and fresh. read more

I stopped by again with a friend recently. It was at about 7:30pm on a Tuesday. The restaurant was clean and there were open tables. I ordered the Classic Smash Burger, Smash fries, and a Butterfinger shake. I really enjoyed the burger and milkshake, but wish I had gotten the regular fries. The seasoning on the fries was a little too strong for me so I didn't eat them all. (Don't worry, my friend finished them off happily.) Last time I ordered the chocolate shake and wasn't impressed. The Butterfinger shake I got this time was delicious. read more

We were not asked if we were dining in or getting our order to go. As a result, all orders were placed in sacks and sat at the counter. The other people I was with sat for 30 minutes waiting for their food. They went up to the counter / manager three times asking where their food was. Each time, they were told, we are working on it. Finally, someone realized the food had been up there all along. We asked for our money back, or even the upfront tip already given back, and were told no. read more

Pretty damn good burgers! A solid four stars. We went here with a group of 14 people (one of the stops on our burger-palooza). Almost all agreed this place serves above average burgers. I was impressed with the option to have a beer (they offer several bottled beers) with my burger. I also appreciated the freshly formed patty, much tastier than a burger that's been preformed in some meat factory somewhere and then frozen for a month or so before it makes it's way into my mouth. I was not impressed with the shoestring fries, but that's just a personal thing (I prefer bigger steak fries). I did however like the flavor of the rosemary seasoning on the fries, yummy. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to send someone to Smashburger. read more

My family and I decided to try Smasburger on Franklin Ave today and it was a mistake. While we were ordering, there was a crew member practicing what could politely be called poor hygiene. Trash handling with no gloves, followed by nose picking and finally food handling without washing his hands made for red flags. Maybe it's expecting too much but, the attitude in the kitchen probably needs to be examined as well. I think that they should make a burger that they would eat for themselves. I don't like wilted lettuce and I'll bet they wouldn't either. We weren't there long enough to take in the atmosphere but, I know that I'll never go there again anyway. Thumbs down. read more

After braving the mall on Labor Day, my husband and I decided to grab lunch at Smashburger. Neither one of us had ever gone before and so we wanted to try them out. It was around 1:30 when we arrived, so it wasn't too busy. The dining room was clean & all of the tables were bussed. When we went up tot the register we explained to the cashier that we would need a minute because we had never been here. He was very helpful and gave some recommendations of what's popular, what he likes, & even explained how the food was prepared. We decided on: Classic Smash with bacon & no onion Triple double with no veggies Tater Tots Soda The food was prepared very well. Our order arrived at the table got, fresh, & correct! The food tasted great! They don't freeze their meat so it tastes amazing! The burgers had a perfect amount of seasoning. The bacon was perfectly cooked & was delicious. I didn't eat any of the tots, but my husband said they were great. I will definitely be coming back. The prices were also very reasonable. The cashier even gave us a small discount on our food since it was our first time there. It was a very nice gesture. read more

Franklin and Maple Grove, Boise ID, 12/17/2022 at 11:15am. This isn't just a problem at this location, it's the same as airports and other locations. The food is usually terrible and overpriced, but my wife wanted some so we stopped in. Ordered 2 burgers and 6 wings with fries and sodas, $42... wow, I didn't realize Gordon Ramsey was slaughtering the cows out back and grinding chuck by hand, this should be good. We sat alone in the entire restaurant for a half hour before anyone walked in. Whatever, no big deal, Smash Burger is known to take forever and we've been to several places, same routine. Someone sits down and gets their food before us... we've been sitting for a half hour and my son is starting to fuss. So I go up and ask, "we've been sitting for a half hour alone, how are other seated people being served before us?" She responds "they arrived at the same time as you"... as if I'm both blind and stupid. So I reponded "No they did not. They walked in 5 minutes ago" (which they did). We somehow get our food third in line, no to-go orders, shows up cold, also the wings are disgusting (tastes like they are microwaved, couldn't have been heated up by the sun since it's winter but it's possible I suppose, it takes roughly 7 minutes to deep fry wings but we waited a half hour, I digress). Wings were labeled as "New!" so I figured what what hell, let's try them... shame on me for trying new offerings. You know why places complain about not being able to find staff? It's because they pay shitty wages to high school students who can't cook worth a damn, I've eaten frozen foods better than this and it took less time. Absolute trash start to finish. Get your shit together. read more
