    Caramel iced latte
    Kaitlyn R.

Your local coffee shop in the heart of PSN. This is definitely one of those places where it is a hidden secret and only local knows . Coffee : amazing , the flavor is perfect for a caramel ice latte and such a good balance . I'm curious about what coffee beans they use. Food : I normally get an egg and bacon croissant every time I go and it's good but very basic . I can admit the food is pricey for stuff that honestly everyone can make at home . I always do an online order for pick up so I never interact with the staff for too long but the girl at the counter is always nice when handing me my stuff ! Definitely superior in their coffee so try an ice latte next time you're around!

Amazinggggg!!!! Great place to work at or just grave a coffee. They make the coffee decor super custom to you which is insane. Had to order another after because it was so good!! Service was easy and quick. The white chocolate peppermint was by far our fav, and the vanilla dirty chai was a close second.

Really smart bean? You're going to be THAT coffee shop that charges 10% service charge? Honestly don't know a single coffee shop that does this and it just proves how out of hand tipping culture has gotten. At the very minimum have your cashiers give a disclaimer.

Had a few questions about the menu items and they were all answered nicely. Prompt service and cute ambiance! The food and coffee were very delicious!! Will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend the guava and cheese croissant!

Burned scrambled eggs because they were bothered.

Felt rushed from the moment we went to order. Cashier did not know her own menu. $38.00 for two lukewarm lattes and 2 children's breakfast plates. When the food finally comes out after 25 minutes of waiting, the eggs were cold as if they had been sitting in the fridge. We asked them to remake the eggs.. they were bothered so they burned the eggs on purpose. Let's keep in mind this meal was for a child. Skip this place, drive to the Starbucks on Miami lakes or the McDonald's.. at least you won't wait 25 minutes for terrible food and service.

Talk about 5 star service! Great food, great service, and creative and delicious coffee!! This place is a must visit! Small but very unique spot.

It's refreshing to have an original coffeehouse we can frequent in our neighborhood. Great Tasting coffee and the breakfast options are soo good. Everything is made with care and attention to detail. I would recommend either of the sandwiches. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it's nice to place an order and have it served. Smartbean is highly recommended in my book.

Had breakfast on Sunday. It was pretty quiet. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich which was delicious. Had tea and coffee. I have to say the bill was a bit more than I normally pay for breakfast.

Updating review based on today's experience: Visited today because I wanted to take my mom and small child on a coffee date around 8am. I asked about the children's croquettes and they kindly explained the type so I ordered them and then they told me they were already out. Moved on to order coffees, tried to order a decaf for my mom who can not have regular coffee and was advised they do not have ANY decaf coffee. How does a coffee shop not offer a decaf option? I ordered a coffee for myself expecting the beautiful delicious coffee I got on my past visits and instead I received a cup that was basically warm milk, but they kindly added another shot of espresso for me. Finally our food was delivered and when we asked for utensils we were given plastic ware which doesn't cut through the avocado toast because they were out of clean utensils. Overall not the experience I hoped to have. I want this neighborhood location to thrive, but this experience left us under impressed and with the lack of a decaf option we can't return.

Their food is priceless, so do yourself a favor, bookmark their profile and stop by or order often. I didn't know about Smartbean Coffee House until now and I just finished eating and had to immediately write this review. Their avocado toast is to die for. Their coffee impeccable, and their Nutella-filled beignets out of this world. As expressed before I didn't know about them until now. A friend who lives in Las Vegas placed a order and had it delivered to me using UberEats. I still don't know how she found out about them but considering the fact that she's Cuban and Smartbean Coffee House is located in Hialeah, their knowledge might be part of the secret and awesome bits of information passed around clandestine Cuban networks. Lol! No matter how, I'm incredibly grateful. Food as delicious as this is hard to come by and when it happens it must be treasured. Since I already know they deliver here, trust me, I'll be ordering from them on the regular!

Double espresso servers in paper cup, with too many grounds.
    Luis M.

I was really excited to try this placed based on the reviews but unfortunately it did not meet expectations. I ordered the double espresso and my wife ordered the iced caramel macchiato with oat milk. My espresso tasted watery and was littered with coffee grounds..the beans themselves seemed robust but there was no crema in sight and it just seem to be improperly extracted based on mouth feel and taste. The iced coffee was overly sweet and this was coming from my wife who has a sweet tooth. As a side note we also ordered our food and drinks to dine in but everything was served in to go cups and containers? I would have preferred my drink out of glass. The food was good, I enjoyed the prosciutto grilled cheese and my wife loved her croissant breakfast sandwich, but we really didn't come here for food. The atmosphere was very relaxing and jazzy but the shop closes at 2:00 pm and the employees were cleaning up around us at 1:40 pm which just makes you feel like you are being "kicked out" or something even though there are 20 minutes left and I found it to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I am polite person so I didn't send anything back or complain, I even left a tip. But I won't be coming back.

Love their coffee and everything else it's supposed to be a plus but it's oooooh such a good plus I'll say their is the best I've had in a while so flaky and fresh ! I had their breakfast sandwich and it was amazing , I highly recommend it . Their cappuccino was on point and their coffee art really cute . The service was really attentive and welcoming . I also asked for my scramble eggs to be well done and they were made to perfection

THE FOOD: For starters, we had the cheese, bread and honey dish - 4/5 warm, crunchy, gooey goodness. I also had the French onion soup 5/5, probably the best ive ever had! incredible flavor profile perfectly balanced and salted. For entrees, my husband went with a oxtail with mash dish they had on special that day 1000/5, too bad eating with your hands and licking your plate is frowned upon lol - it deserved that! I had the Pan seared branzino 2/5 - now hear me out - it was five out of five in texture, soft and buttery, and presentation BUT it was cook with SO MUCH BUTTER, that the roof of my mouth & tongue were coated in it and I couldnt tastes anything else! It was so much butter that I felt my lips, tongue and throat irritated. Additionally, im not sure why they didn't pair this dish with a mash or a roasted potatoes, instead of only cooked down spinach. THE SERVICE: Reservations are strongly encouraged - so I made mine with Resy. Through Resy, I confirmed my reservation and had it all in text & email. Upon arrival, their system didnt pull it up. However, the manager (?) was kind, gentle and gracious, sat us at a table. Our waiter was fantastic! So charismatic, and was well versed on all the dishes and how they were made. I believe she said she's been with the team a few years now. From what I understand, a sister restaurant was just opened in Miami Beach, so I hope to be able to give that one a try aswell - maybe for my birthday in two weeks?

Was meeting with some friends for an early lunch last week and I suggested this restaurant. The inside is not that big and parking is terrible, but I figured the food would make up for it. Very few tables inside but it was clean and has a counter area where the customer can sit or can sit and wait for their to go order. Not sure what has happened during the past two years but the food wasn't that great this time around. We shared the simple egg sandwich with bacon, and ordered a cafe con leche, the croqueta sampler and some islas canarias croquetas. The simple egg sandwich was unflavorful. The croqueta sampler and islas canarias croquetas were my favorite. Sadly, the cafe con leche didn't even taste like cafe con leche. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed although it was just our table and two more tables she was serving. There was a total of maybe 8 customers. We had to keep asking her for more water and napkins.
