I had quoted 6 different companies in DFW, but these guys were both the most affordable and most knowledgeable. In the quoting process, Erasmo created 4-5 revisions to fit my budgetary needs and accomplish what I wanted. Their programmer care after the install was done and spent a day with me programming everything I wanted. For example, when we get home at night and click the gate button in our car, we now have all the back porch lights and indoor mud room lights turn on to improve safety and comfort. Our blinds are programmed through Control4 as well now and will adjust automatically through the day and evening. We also integrated Alexa so we can do voice commands through the home. It starts with installing a solid wiring infrastructure necessary to support the increasing demand of audio, video and control protocols of today and tomorrow. Many groups out there cut corners and go cheap and you end up with an unreliable system with intermittent problems or worse. Then when you try and add or update to your system in the future nothing works. These guys know what they are doing and do everything first rate. I am a pain in the ass type of customer being an electrical and software engineer myself. I am also a certified Control4 developer, so when I say these guys are good I know what I am talking about.

We recently moved into our new home in Lantana from a larger home in Austin. I was surprised to…read morefind that the previous owner had not installed rear channel speakers in the ceiling of the family room. While very much into two-channel audio listening, my wife and I also wanted the flexibility of employing our fairly high-end audio system for home theater use. Thus the absolute need for rear speakers...along with in-wall wiring and mounting of a new 65" TV. I did a lot of research to help me determine who or what company I'd hire to perform the work. A local company, Quality Smart Homes, was highly recommended by a bunch of people in the Lantana area, so I scheduled them, along with a couple other companies, to come by and work up and estimate. Quality Smart Homes was scheduled first and Derek came by to take a look at our home, inspect the configuration of the attic and chat with me about my options. I was very impressed with Derek's demeanor, respectful politeness, appearance and knowledge. He provided a very reasonable estimate (which he allowed me to modify later in terms of equipment and scope)...the estimate was so reasonable; I made the "buy decision" right then and cancelled other estimate visits. Derek asked the next day if he and Shay (a partner) could make one more quick pre-install visit to look at the attic/room layout. That done, we scheduled for two weeks out (they are busy). I asked for an earlier install to better fit my needs and they said "OK if a Sunday morning was OK with me." It was and I was happy. The install was quick and virtually painless for me and now I've got theater-like surround sound to go with my critical stereo music listening. Anyway, as I write this, I find myself wishing the world was full of companies with people as nice, punctual, friendly, competent and helpful as Derek, Shay with Quality Smart Homes. In our new home, in which we are planning other significant upgrades, we have not had the same level of good luck with vendors in other trades (electricians, shutter installers, masons, landscapers, etc.). We will deal with all that but are so pleased that the home-theater stuff is off our list...and was so easy. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball that "makes your day." This was one of those.

The installers are extremely knowledgeable, polite and do suburb work. Even the custom install which I though would be impossible to do and cost a fortune was done under budget and with ease by them. Even when I had to get up into the attic for misc reason, their install work( which no one would ever see) is extremely clean, correct, up to code and professional.

His media room designs were way ahead of the pack but he was still willing to work within our budget. Now we have a new home and Paymon and his incredible crew are installing an even more beautiful and media/visual room well as all of our window treatments and decorating from rugs to furniture using what he can from our saved collectibles. Upon initial visit we talked a bit on what our needs were and primary use. He then sent a few estimates with various components. He only uses quality products like Episode speakers, JVC projector etc. Once we set a date. Team smart homes came over and did quick work. We had our in ceiling speakers in the house up and working within a day. Day 2 they went to work on the media room. It was finished in a day and a half as well. They took care to clean up and mess that was made. We also had them convert our phone lines to internet lines. We had CAT5E lines running already to it wasn't a big chore but I was glad to finally have some use with those phone lines. We really love our home theater. Sound and picture quality couldn't be better. Also our Sonos music system with the ceiling speakers around the house is awesome. inside or outside you can control the music and volume with your phone/tablet. Highly recommend it. I say give Smart Homes a call. We are 100% glad we did. Their knowledge, professionalism, speed, and availability are second to none. Plus I like working with local businesses. Its a win win.
