Joel was fantastic. We recently moved into our new home, where the builder was contracted with another local security/smart home company. Although they did an ok service, the company was extremely expensive for the services offered. Ultimately, we decided to use Google camera products. While these are very user friendly for indoor setup, we needed assistance for the outdoor setup (running lines into our attic). I found 8512 solutions on another app, however, as always checked his Yelp rating before reaching out. I contacted Joel late Friday night, he responded early morning on Saturday, and at our house by Sunday at noon. We decided to have Joel do an outdoor camera as well as a floodlight/camera combo. We had purchased all of our equipment prior to Joel's arrival. Joel was patient with us as we found the best place to hang the cameras. He was very diligent and paid care attention to ensure that he left the work are tidy. We had a few technical difficulties, so the install did run an hour over our scheduled time but Joel kept to his original quote. We had a confirmed appointment - which I made 4 days in advance. He was responsive in the beginning of the process, and I was not in an immediate hurry for install. But on install day- he was a no show, no contact, and was not picking up any phone calls. I called the number he gave me via email, which was different from the number on his website and yelp. I left voice messages on both. I emailed him. I apologize if an emergency came up or something horrible happened to him for being so negative, I just at this moment don't understand the lack of ability to let me know why he was a no show. Guys were great, very accommodating with availability and schedule. Came out and did exactly what they said they were going to do. Joel and his partner were awesome. Only thing I would recommended is they us gloves when handling people's flat screens. Bare hands on the screen left nasty smudges that were tough to clean. He helped figure out placements, and got them installed quickly. He showed me how it all worked, and made sure I was comfortable with everything. Joel set up our ring alarm system and did an excellent job. Our home was already wired for a different security system, so he also installed the ring retro kit so we could use our existing sensors, in addition to both wired and battery powered cameras, ring doorbell and ring sensors throughout the house.
