Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.

They did a beautiful job! Johann answered all my questions from start to finish, explained things in a way that made sense to a non-tech person, and never made me feel stupid for all my questions. I had purchased the wrong equipment, wired my house wrong, and installed a versa box which left a hole in my fireplace (all because Tollbrothers had rushed me through the process or frankly gave me the wrong info to start). Johann never acted frustrated that he was dealing with a less than ideal situation. He never showed frustration with the situation, but simply offered me astute work-arounds and solutions. It's obvious that he takes pride in his work and his craft. You can tell he truly enjoys finding solutions and making customers happy. Moreover, it was obvious that Johann takes great pride in the incredible team he has built. Communication between him and all his team members was seamless. Each of the four members that showed up for the install were not only knowledgeable, but they were also kind and respectful. They treated my house with care, cleaned up any messes from the install, and asked if there was anything else they could do to help. Not once did they make me feel rushed for asking questions. Very disappointed with the performance of the system package that cost me over $10,000 (I purchased…read moretheir premium/top level speaker package and a number of other items they recommended). Before the installation, I shared my concerns below with the sales person/installer: 1. The size of the inwall speakers the recommended would not likely reproduce the full range of sound desired (especially midrange frequencies) 2. The soundstage produced by the front three speakers needed to anchor vocals to the faces onscreen - not localized to a speaker (especially not to the center channel located below screen). 3. I wanted clean but very strong bass performance that you could feel but not localize to a point in the room. After the installation I received a full demo and sure enough - they failed on all three points. - There is minimal midrange reproduction - The voices are localized on the center channel speaker (despite adjustments) - The powered subwoofer cost over $1,000, but lacks any real impact and it is easy to place where it is in the room I spent time afterwards with the installer sharing my concerns and asking for adjustments to be made. He made some efforts, but the equipment and configuration still produces very, very thin sound reproduction. There is no full range of deep rich sound in action movies (vehicle engines, explosions, etc.). Music on soundtracks sounds like it is playing out of a hand held radio. I told him I was not satisfied and not happy. All he could offer was to sell me additional speakers (left and right tower cabinet speakers and a second subwoofer), and he would give me credit back for two of the in wall speaker The amp is likely not adequate - should have gone with something higher current (Denon, Marantz or similar?). I trusted my money with their expertise/recommendations, and really feel like I failed to pick the right Home Theater company to accomplish a simple HT set up. The room is a dedicated HT room, only 14'x21' with 10' ceilings. I should have done more research. Lastly - on a personal note, I believe how an installer approaches "wire management" (see photos - no methodology) is an indicator of their attention to detail what standard they set for themselves. There is also a photo of their teeny tiny "premium" in wall speaker.

Awesome, 7PIXL company, managed by Justin and Jeremy who are not only well knowledgeable of their trade, they present themselves in a very professional manner and were respectful inside my home. Friday Feb. 5th, Justin responded the same day to my email inquiry regarding digital dome surveillance camera for residential installation. Monday Feb 8th, Justin arrived for an on-site survey in a white 7PIXL company van with their Texas service license number in clear view on the front side. I looked through 7PIXL's camera portfolio; several dome cameras caught my attention. Justin explained the difference between pixels. He said 2 pixel cameras have clear crisp pictures. Whereas, 6 pixel cameras can read serial numbers on a dollar bill some distance away. With that information, I chose to purchase 2 pixel cameras because I don't need to pay the price to read serial numbers on dollar bills some distance away. Tuesday Feb 9th, Justin and Jeremy arrived as agreed - 9:00 A.M. - and worked diligently installing 7 cameras around my home. By evening I was watching clear crisp live video feed on an elegant slender 22" monitor seeing all around my home. I was so impressed I asked them to install an 8th camera. Thursday Feb 11th, Justin and Jeremy installed my 7th camera, made each desired angle adjustment and answered my questions in such a way I could understand. And they wired my home with Cat 5 cables affixed with end apparatus so if I every want to upgrade to higher pixels, the end connections are already in place. I was given instructions how to use the equipment and given cd's and manuals for the Battery Back-Up, the DVR, and the Monitor. Project: Replace & Upgrade Home Structured Wiring panels and components into one larger panel located in Utility/Laundry Room. Scenario: This past January I moved into our new Home that centrally locates all its structured wiring in the utility room using a 14" On-Q in-wall panel for voice/data/audio/video and above attached to the wall another panel for security. Both of these panels were ineffective and in the way of placing washer & dryer next to the wall side by side or stacked. Solution: After several consultations with a half dozen companies, by March, I was extremely pleased to have selected 7PiXL Multimedia Group. From the beginning the owner, Justin, was attentive to my install needs and was able to provide several solutions that both best fit with-in my budget and allowed the best solution that interconnected everything over into a larger panel up and away from the W&D area. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. After inquiring about their service, Justin came out within a day to provide us with a quote. He always responded to my calls/emails promptly, worked with my schedule and arrived on time. Justin and Jeremy came out to our store on multiple occasions to install a total of 15 cameras (we decided to add additional cameras a few weeks after our initial 7 were up and running). After our first set of cameras were installed, we wanted to change the angle and placement of a few of the cameras, so Justin had someone out the very next day to do so. In addition to the cameras, 7pixL also mounted a television for me and fixed some cabling issues we were having with our phone lines. This is my second time using 7Pixl. Justin and Jeremy are really awesome at what they do. They are very diligent and professional in every way. They installed TVs, Eero wifi devices, dvd players, Directv genies in 5 rooms in my new house. They also installed a smart box in the wall and extended and outlet from another room to ensure there was power for the box (something that was not in the quote, but they did cheerfully to complete their excellent work). They double checked to make sure everything worked, and programmed all the Directv remotes to control the TVs. Lastly, they contacted me after a few days to make sure everything was working as planned. Where do you find customer service like that now-a-days? I'd been looking to setup surveillance cameras, wall mount a TV, setup ethernet wiring and phone wiring in my house. I came across 7PiXL and gave Justin a call. He was very responsive and professional in answering all my questions. He provided a quote within a day, and a week later he and Jeremy setup an appointment to install. Justin and Jeremy were very efficient and were able to complete the entire installation in about 4 hours. Justin was very knowledgeable, explaining some of the ethernet and phone wiring issues that we had in our house. I'm so glad I did! This is something I didn't know how to fix and Justin and Jeremy were out and able to secure and add on to my existing system. Last weekend after searching on YELP for various audio video installers in the north east Dallas…read morearea, I contacted three installers and ended up choosing Honest Install of Richardson, TX. When talking to John, I could tell he was very knowledgeable about Audio/Video installs. He suggested I go with a Sonos Port to allow streaming over the internet, but noted that it was backordered months. I also decided to hold off on two other items he recommended until I could have his crew review my media room setup and verify whether there was other equipment that I needed. By the end of the day on Monday, I had approved an estimate for installation of whole home speakers and a media room setup and received a scheduled install start time of between 9-10am on Thursday. On Thursday, the install crew arrived in the scheduled time window and worked professionally to get the installation completed. They also suggested a couple of other items. John and I talked later in the day on Thursday and mentioned that the crew could install the additional items (other than the Sonos Port) on Friday. I agreed. When the crew arrived on Friday, I was happily suprises that they had a Sonos Port. Long story short, they installed the equipment and took time to show my wife (who is technically challenged) how to get the streaming working on her phone and complete the full setup. Awesome work and customer service. I highly recommend John's team at Honest Install for all of your audio/visual needs. Of note: John is a busy guy. He mentioned up front that the best way to reach him is on his phone as he is often traveling for work.

Did just that and received a very fair offer to replace two ceiling speakers with a new pair I had received as a gift (most other companies refused to work with me because I didn't buy the speakers from them). Guys showed up on time as promised and were out of here in an hour or so. They cleaned up and, most importantly, were very courteous (even wearing masks due to COVID which I appreciated). I have a couple of other projects I need to get to later on down thand I'll call these guys up again without hesitation!

He was 20 minutes late to the appointment, and instead of coming right into the unit, he went ahead and retrieved his leather jacket from a different unit in the building first. My request for the consultation was very clear - I want to understand what I have in the condo and see what it would cost to upgrade the dated system. I was not very clear as to what AV capabilities we already have st the end of the consultation. Any questions during the consultation were answered with a sales pitch for very expensive functionalities that we weren't really interested in. After three business days, I finally get a quote. See the image. lol what is this? I gotta do some puzzle solving to understand how much this upgrade is going to cost me. (And I paid $150 to receive the estimate. ) I asked to itemize some options, like upgrading our existing TV to a 65 in Samsung Frame, which he had agreed to after initially pushing back on that request. So as you can see, that's the only clear numbers you see. I am very uncomfortable doing business with someone who cannot provide me with a clear estimate. I have a feeling that he doesn't want my business, as the job might be too small for him, but he should've just said so to me right away.
