    SMA5H fries

Fast service and the cashier was nice. There's a kiosk to order and they accept online orders as well. The parking lot can get busy during lunch, be aware. The food is delicious. The buns they use are soft, and buttery. I enjoyed their sma5h fries, really saucy. Even their regular fries hit the spot with the seasoning they use.

One of the best burgers I've had in a really long time! This location of Sma5h is inside King Plaza on Othello, so if you want parking around this area then come after peak hours (when Ba Mien and other surrounding businesses are closed) as it's much easier to find around that time. When you do get here, you're greeted with a casual burger joint-like interior, and you can smell the burgers just by coming in. You place your orders through kiosks at the front, and your order - whether you dine in or get it to go - comes in paper bags. There's also several tables for seating, and some seating near one of the walls where their logo is. I got their Supreme Sma5h burger, which is literally their Super Sma5h but with bacon. Both come with two patties, lettuce and tomatoes, caramelized onions, pickles and their sauce. I paired this with their loaded fries, which is regular fries with cheese on top. The burger was juicy, fresh and tender, and the sauce was awesome! Fries had an extra oomph to them because of the cheese compared to just ketchup. The beef had the right kind of falling apart as it went into my mouth, and I couldn't have asked for a better burger. There isn't any sort of water dispenser, and I wasn't sure if there was a restroom inside to use since my friends and I did want to wash our hands after eating. They also don't provide very many napkins when you get your order, so I did have to ask for some more so that everyone in my group of five had at least a couple. That aside, this was a spot several of my friends in my group have already had and recommended, so I'm happy I got to give this place a try. I'll definitely come back when I want a juicy burger that's not too much of a drive!

Honestly, I was a bit nervous to walk in at first because the area didn't look very inviting, and we almost kept driving. But we were really hungry and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did! The food was surprisingly delicious, everything was fresh, and the service was super friendly and very fast. I thought the portion of French fries wouldn't be enough, but it was plenty for all of us, my husband, me, and our two kids. One small tip: it would be nice if they cleaned the tables a bit more often. Other than that, we had a great experience and I'm happy we stopped by!

Good smash burger, all the guys in the group agreed. Our cousin from France really liked it and went back again before his return flight. Brioche Bun They recommend getting the super smash (double patty) but it's too much meat for me & a bit salty (but perfect for the guys) The Simple Smash was a much better fit for me. Fries were good (suggest eating it there for freshness) Parking lot was insane and super busy. Took forever trying to find parking. It's a very busy plaza so if you come at peak times, you can opt for street parking or park at the other plaza across. Health dept rating is currently : OKAY rating Floors were super sticky and flies were flying around we had to swat them while eating. I had to minus stars for that. Much greasier than an In-out burger. It's a diff style burger than In -n- out, so my rating is based on comparing it to other smash burgers. Ask for more napkins because they barely give u any the first time.

Husband was craving a smash burger on New Year's Day. We looked up some spots and this was rated well, for good reason. It was surprisingly busy too! It was around. 530pm and the small amount of tables they had were full. It's a quick grab n go spot and they are cranking burgers out. The service was good. Fast, efficient, and kind. We placed our order and got it within 10 minutes. My husband and I loved the burgers. Super flavorful and seasoned, melty cheese and the grilled onions, absolutely delicious. We loved the fried and so did our son. He ate an entire bag to himself. He also had a strawberry shake and there were fresh strawberries. It was delicious. We will be back.

Easy ordering, nice service, and a great meat heavy burger. Parking was easy at the end of the day, although not many other businesses in the plaza seemed very open at dinner time on a Sunday. Super smash burger: two patties with a good crust on them, pretty tasty burger but was pretty oily and heavy for me so I think I'll order a single patty next time! Overall solid burger spot, I'm not complaining about the size of the burger either!

10/10 absolutely incredible and it's Halal! The burgers-juicy, tender, quality, flavorful. The smash fries- crispy saucy tasty crunchy The service was fast and friendly. The ambience is quick bite/grab and go. Delicious lemonades as well. This is my new #1 for smash burgers!!

SMA5H is a great, local spot to pick up a fantastic burger (truly nothing hits like a halal burger). They have a shared parking lot that can be a little tight and there's a decent amount of seating inside for folks who want to dine in. Chopped Cheese (3.75/5): This was super cheesy and salty, exactly what you want. The only problem was halfway through, there was just way too much bread and it ate a little dry. Supreme Smash (4.25/5): Delicious burger, this would definitely be my go-to item. Amazing crust on the patty and the beef strip was surprisingly crunchy, truly reminiscent of bacon. Sweet Loaded Fries / Smash Fries (3/5): The actual base potato fry was pretty good: fluffy inside and crispy outside. I didn't love the white sauce and the sweet potato fries were way too soft to hold up to all the toppings. Just grab plain fries if you're here.

One of the best burgers I've had recently! I got the super sma5h and loaded fries and both were gone in about 10 min. Patty was cooked to perfection and the sauce elevated the burger! Really liked that the cheese was melted in the burger. Check out their menu and pricing here: https://sma5h.com/menu/

Been wanting to try this place since I heard they opened recently. The parking lot can get a little packed and hectic so if you could get away with street parking, I'd suggest doing that. I was greeted upon entry and it was nice that there was an option to order directly from a person or from a self serve device which I liked. It helps speed up ordering for the future busy days which I can see them having once summer comes around. The inside has quite a bit of communal seating with a few long tables as well as a high counter and small circular table. For ordering 4 burgers with fries, it was was a pretty quick turnaround time and we didn't end up waiting too long for our order. I ordered the Supreme Sma5h and it was so good. The beef was cooked perfectly and you get a nice crunch from the veggies. Since they're serving halal food, their alternative to bacon was a beef strip that is their substitute for bacon and honestly, it could have fooled me if I didn't know any better. The sauce on the burger was really good as well and it definitely brought all the elements of the burger, together. I had an order of Sma5h fries to go with my order and it was covered in the same sauce that the burger had. I don't know what it is about their sauce but it had me wishing I had more to just have to have leftover for other foods. Looking forward to coming back and trying their Chopped Cheese next time!

Hello SMA5H. Wife and I were passing through town took the opportunity to have lunch with our boy. Asked for a burger place and he found this gem. Parking is a challenge regardless where you're at in Seattle after few laps found parking. The service was fast and you order off a kiosk and pay. No fountain sodas offered bottled water and few canned drinks. Seating is limited like the parking but few moments and something will open up. Spectating: preorder with a helper, stop in front helper runs for the order and driver does a slow lap around the parking lot before picking helper up and head home. To messy to eat and drive with SMA5H.

If you want a quick and cheap burger with low expectations, this is the perfect stop.

Tried Sma5h for the first time yesterday and had a good experience - food was good - I ordered the #3 and #4 double with cheese - burgers could use a little more salt and pepper and sauce - burgers are extra crispy on the edges but overall it was good - the strawberry lemonade was ok - could be more sweet, could have more strawberry flavoring the service was good - you can order from the kiosk or from a crew member - the space was modern and clean. - ample parking, open late, takes digital payment or cash and halal

I mean, theoretically, what's there to not like? I need fries and a burger and it's 11pm? Oh look,…read moreFat Shack's open! AND they have deep fried Oreos??? Sign me up. The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

He said, "No, you got the sandwich." I said, "Okay... so did you make the sandwich I ordered or not?" He said yes. I open it up and it's literally two chicken fingers, fries, and honey mustard. No Philly cheesesteak. So I asked, "If you didn't have Philly cheesesteak, why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it?" He said, "I don't know, I can put it on the side if you'd like." I said, "I thought you didn't have any Philly cheesesteak?" He walked away, came back with a side of Philly cheesesteak, and told me to put it on the sandwich myself. For $19, I shouldn't have to assemble my own sandwich -- especially after being told you didn't even have the main ingredient. Just be upfront with customers.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.

I didn't expect much out of these, but they were surprisingly good. The rice is cooked perfectly, sticky and tender, yet each grain is distinctive and almost bouncy, giving great mouthfeel. The musubi seems to be dipped in a small amount of soy sauce, although not enough to cover the entire rice surface. The additional sodium isn't really needed in the first place due to the salty and meaty kick the spam on top gives the handheld snack. It's a classic combination for a good reason! (4/5) For the Food Walk special, they only give a small scoop of mac salad. I'm sure the normal side portion for $5.94 is much larger. The salad is unspectacular but solid. It's a little sweet, a bit peppery, and certainly very creamy. There's a bit of julienned carrot included that isn't particularly crunchy, being soaked in the mayo sauce. The macaroni itself isn't mushy or overcooked, so it still has some texture. (4/5) I don't usually expect much out of food court restaurants, but Aloha Plates definitely surprised me with their quality. It seems like a solid option for Hawaiian.

Perhaps the Lao Burger served there wasn't as juicy and succulent, with perfectly crisp smashed patties as I recalled? Or perhaps Taurus Ox just serves a completely inferior version. I revisited for a Friday late dinner to reach the bottom of things. This was at around 8PM and the place was surprisingly busy, with a fully running kitchen and almost all seats taken. It's a pretty small restaurant to begin with, but since the food comes fast, people don't typically stay too long. By the time our food arrived, a table had cleared up for us. Lao Burger ($18) - This Lao Burger is just as good as my first visit. Absolutely perfectly fried smash patties, completely with lacy, crispy edges that provide texture and an intense caramelized meaty flavor. I've already described the burger in detail in my previous review - what I can say on this visit is that the burger is basically identical, indicating that Ox Burger is consistent with cook and construction. The burger as a whole has the perfect moisture level with plenty of unique funky, umami-full flavors that make each bite a delight. As with my previous review, two things come to mind that detract just a tiny bit from my full enjoyment. Firstly, the burger as a whole is a bit salty for my tastes, necessitating several trips to refill my cup of water Secondly, the piece of sliced pork belly included is kind of vestigial. It seems to be only there to add additional salt, because neither the flavor nor texture are very apparent while eating. (5/5) Deluxe ($15) - This burger is somehow way messier than the Lao to eat. Upon lifting it up, a mess of watery mustard/mayo mix drips onto the plate. I think it might be from the extra moisture in the tomatoes and lettuce. And yet, somehow the bun isn't soggy at all. This burger is otherwise excellent, combing the same picture perfect smash patties as in the Lao, with the classic fixings - American cheese, bacon, pickles, and plenty of veggie mix. (5/5) I'm glad I gave the Lao Burger another chance. It's now one of my favorite burgers in the city. I'll definitely be coming back to Ox Burger for more. The progenitor, Taurus Ox, remains on my not recommended list though! Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The food was great for all adults involved. Portions of fries are generous and delicious, and come with fancy sauces (none of which appealed to me, but were appreciated by my family). The burgers are really inventive, so we all wanted to try the Lao. It's delicious. I did balk at $18 for just the burger, which is a smash patty (less beef) and I took the cheese, Mayo, and cilantro off. Eighteen dollars! No side, no drink.
