I wanted to write this review to help provide some insight to others who may be looking to hire a roofing company. I reached out to SLR early in my research of roofing companies and was scheduled a time for Yuval, who is a project manager at SLR to come out to take a look at my issue. I had a roof leak and it was a challenge that had lasted for longer than I would like to admit. After Yuval arrived he was immediately kind, courteous and on time. He was very knowledgeable and personable and did not try to upsell or change the scope of work to make it larger than it needed to be. He observed issues that I was aware of (slope of roof) and other code requirements and thus proved to me that he knew his stuff. I continued to touch base with other companies but after meeting with 5 different contractors I decided to follow through with SLR due to Yuval's friendly and knowledgeable guidance. After the contract was signed it took approximately a week for them to schedule a date to get to and finish the work. They came out had a discussion with me to confirm scope, and got to work within half a day (scope was approx. 100-150 sqft) they completed the job. I went up later that day and did a brief test with a hose on a soak setting and we noticed that the leak was not corrected. I contacted Yuval and his team was back out to my home 2 days later, I was able to demonstrate the location where the issue was still occurring, and the team repaired that portion and fixed my issue. Anton was an excellent project manager, always responding quickly and thoughtfully to any question or inquiry. He worked with me to meet a tight schedule, offering a competitive price to the two other 5-star roofing companies I sought bids from, one of which came in nearly 40% higher with a lot of gimmicks attached--which, Anton explained, were highly unlikely to be relevant to my home. Unlike most companies who say "we'll be there between 7 and 9am" and then show up an hour after that, SLR started work on the roof every day at 7am prompt. The quality of the work was outstanding, and their interactions were always professional, clear, and courteous. Further, we even had one mishap where some wires on the rooftop were disconnected and connected wrongly by the electrician they hired, affecting my electrical blinds' circuitry. SLR totally made things right, never even pushing back against taking responsibility. Their owner, Lior, came to the house, looked at the problem, and said, "Well, we'll just have to take care of this." And everything went smoothly from there as they covered the cost of that repair. SLR should get an award for customer service. They put a roof on our multi-level home last year. Great work for a reasonable price. With these heavy rains though, we had a leak downstairs. Called them and they came same day. Turns out it was not the roof, but unfinished work by the painting contractor that allowed water in. SLR could have just said "not our problem" and left. Most companies would on a rainy busy day. But they diagnosed and showed us the problem in detail so we could explain it to the painting contractor. Very impressive, professional and considerate. SLR just completed repairing my roof in Chatsworth. I bought the house a year ago but it was built in 1976 and probably hadn't had the roof replaced in all that time.
