This is my honest review. Steven, the sales representative, was great--very helpful and professional. However, I was disappointed that the 20% off coupon advertised on Yelp was not honored. There was a clear lack of communication between the company and the crew regarding the scope of work. On the first day, the crew arrived and asked me what needed to be done, despite the fact that I had already discussed all the details with Steven. At one point, they nearly left 100 square feet of the old roof untouched when it was supposed to be replaced. Fortunately, we caught the mistake in time and had to call Steven to resolve the issue. Additionally, they attempted to install the wrong plywood instead of the insulated plywood we had specifically requested. Luckily, we noticed just before installation and had to ask them to bring the correct material, which delayed the project by about four hours. The crew worked efficiently, but I noticed some carelessness with private property. Instead of using a ladder, they sometimes jumped onto the roof using the fence, and there was some minor damage caused to some of my plants and a garden light. They also started working at 7:30 AM and were quite loud, though they did respect our request to keep the music off. There were also a few issues with the installation. Some existing shingles sustained small rips where the old roof merged with the new one. The drip edge that was installed didn't match the color of the existing one and wasn't aligned against the fascia in the same manner. Additionally, the plywood extended slightly past the border, preventing the drip edge from sitting flush against the fascia. To his credit, Steven took responsibility for some of these issues. He offered to deduct the cost of the damaged garden light from the total, and when I mentioned that I had purchased paint to try and match the drip edge color, he reimbursed me the $55 for it. I just wish they would have installed the right color from the beginning. That being said, the pricing was competitive compared to other companies, so overall, I'm still satisfied with the value of the service. However, better communication and attention to detail would have made for a much smoother experience. read more

We had a very troubling experience with My Way Roofing. After a previous roofing company failed to fix a leak in 2024, we contacted My Way Roofing for help. A representative named Sean came out to inspect our roof. Unfortunately, he did not take the time to fully listen to our concerns, and instead kept interrupting us, pushing his own opinions, and pressuring us to sign a contract quickly. Sean showed us My Way Roofing's online reviews, claiming they had over 1,500 five-star ratings, but when we checked Google ourselves, only about 365 reviews were visible. This made us wonder if the reviews were being manipulated or selectively displayed. Sean initially promised to send us both an estimate and written documentation explaining what went wrong with our previous roofing job. He only sent the estimate. When we followed up about the documentation, he said he would provide it only after we signed a contract, which felt unprofessional and suspicious. He also said things like, "If you sign now, I might be able to talk to my supervisor and get you a discount." This gave the impression that he wanted to help us, but in reality, he seemed impatient and more focused on closing a deal than genuinely addressing our concerns. His approach lacked respect and transparency, and the estimate itself was extremely expensive compared to other companies we contacted. Then things got worse. The next day, Sean returned to our home uninvited, banged on our front door, and even peeked into our house through the glass window above the door. We asked him to leave immediately, but he stayed and said things like, "My boss is going to fire me. This isn't fair." At the same time, the company's owner, Mike, started calling us repeatedly. After we posted a 1-star review on Google, Mike continued to call and text us, which felt like harassment and made us very uncomfortable. We were so disturbed by their behavior that we were on the verge of calling the police. No matter how good a company's reviews may appear online, our actual experience was stressful, invasive, and completely unprofessional.
