Very honest roofer and really cares about fixing the leak and not trying to upsell or make up issues to make more money... Really liked Alex... I would highly recommend this roofing company for anyone read more

Love these guys. No fuss, straight forward and honest. Had a leak recently from the crazy rains we just had and needed someone to come out and give me a quote for the type of repair I may need. I had 3 others come out and honestly SLR took the most time to do a thorough check. They were honest with me that my damage might not even be roof related. Appreciated the lack of trying to sell me something if I did not truly need. Will definitely be using them in the future. Liam was the specialist who came out to inspect. Young guy but he knows his stuff. Thankful I found them on yelp. read more

Avoid SLR Roofing - Dishonest, Unethical, and Shockingly Poor Workmanship I regret hiring SLR Roofing and strongly caution others after my nightmare experience with owner Lior Peisach. What should have been a straightforward roof replacement turned into years of leaks, damage, and legal battles. Here's why you should steer clear: ---1. Shoddy Work Led to Major Leaks & Damage SLR installed a brand-new roof that leaked three times in the first three years, causing extensive interior water damage. Independent inspectors confirmed: * Improper sloping leading to pooling water. * Subpar workmanship (missing materials, poor sealing). This wasn't just "bad luck"--it was negligence. ---2. Refused Accountability Until Forced When confronted, Lior delayed, denied, and dodged responsibility: * Fought every repair: Initially refused to cover interior damage, claiming it was "outside warranty" (my attorney proved otherwise). * Tried to silence me: Pressured me to sign a waiver banning negative reviews (red flag!). * Flip-Flops: He finally admitted the three leaks were due to shoddy roof installation, but then refused to honor warranty. I had to hire (and pay) outside contractors to fix SLR's mistakes--then fight them again in court to reimburse costs. ---3. Blatant Dishonesty Lior finally admitted responsibility for the water damage (I have him on recording), he subsequently denied responsibility and refused to honor his own warranty. I had to sue him to get him to honor his own warranty. Final Verdict: You're S.O.L with SLR - A Company That Can't Be Trusted * Poor craftsmanship: A new roof shouldn't fail repeatedly. * Unethical tactics: Waivers, false claims, and delays. * No integrity: Flip-flopping on responsibility. Save yourself the stress--hire a reputable roofer. I wish I had. If something goes wrong, it will be a huge fight. read more

I can't recommend SLR Roofing enough! They replaced the roof on my house. We had other companies provide estimates but SLR gave us a really great price, provided all the information on the process accurately up front and did an amazing job! Working with Jon was awesome as he is both friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Their workers were all so professional, timely, courteous and hard working. If you are considering having roof work done, do yourself a favor and make it easy by going with SLR. read more

SLR roofing fantastic. Five stars. Please let Anton know we say thank you for all his and his teams hard work. (Sorry this review is so late). They re-did our roof earlier this summer. As background - our roof is one of those tiled roofs (the Spanish style rounded tiles). Anton came for a preliminary look, talked with me very clearly and transparently about what we needed. Didn't do doomsday scenarios, didn't put out any scare tactics. Really appreciate this. We ended up removing the tile, replacing/upgrading the paper, then re-installing the tile. Job was done over three quick days, Anton and the company was very communicative about all of it. We also had to replace a bunch of broken tiles (previously broken was not broken by the installation). SLR negotiated down with the supplier from a ridiculous price they were quoted at. Also appreciate this. Again - thanks to Anton and the rest of his team. read more

After having to work with SLR and staff last year 2024. This company was the greatest to work with on our HOA complex, complete new flat roof needed after 25 yrs old. We have had several storms, NO! rain at all and no call back on roof. Plus, their price was excellent. Thank you SLR roofing, I will refer you to others. Thank you Dalia, Ram and other staff members for your services. Would like to give a 10 STAR review to this company. For the bad reviewers, if your roof is bad do not patch, just get a new roof, if it is flat roof and old. read more

Joey responded to our Yelp request very quickly. He was able to come out and give us a very reasonable quote on the spot. He was very transparent about the whole process and our options. He kept in contact with us and gave us a time frame that worked perfectly with us. Our roof was inspected and completed in a day or so. His team tarped off all the areas the debris would fall and cleaned up everything else. This gave us peace of mind with our dog and child running around outside. They also made sure we were safe and stopped everything when we were coming and going from the house. His team worked so hard, and we're very friendly and professional. We are very happy with the job and the care they took on completing it. Would 100% recommend Joey and his team. read more

Had my roof serviced by SLR Roofing. Project was completed lighting fast, within 3 days. Guys could have even finished it in 2 days if inspection wasn't required. Service manager Tom was responsive to all communication, and the crew were very friendly and professional. Company is certified, licensed, and bonded. Would have to see a heavy rain to see if the roof leaks or not, but so far, everything looks good. read more

While I did not end up using SLR for my roofing needs I do want to commend them for their incredible customer service. SLR Roofing rules! My wife and I were a bit apprehensive about getting a new roof. We'd had to have the roof patched a few times due to leaks and knew from talking to a few roofers that, due our house being two stories and the pitch of the roof being very steep, a new roof was going to be a major expense. Also, some of the fascia boards were rotten because water had gotten behind the gutters. In addition we wanted to know if anything could be done to lessen the sun on the roof making the 2d floor virtually uninhabitable during the summer. And our roof was 30 years old so who knew what surprises would be uncovered once the shingles were removed? Beyond that only one insurance company was left that would consider insuring our house and, after the Palisades fires, it was questionable they would continue. We talked with three companies and chose SLR Roofing. Tomer, the SLR representative we talked to, suggested using "crickets" to prevent water from collecting behind the chimney and also behind a skylight as well as over a door to the balcony. With the water's being diverted around those obstacles, he said, there would be no leaks. To reduce the problem of the heat from the summer sun penetrating the roof and making the 2d floor uninhabitable he suggested installing insulation panels under the roof (asphalt) tiles. For the third of the house where we have some attic space under the roof, he told us insulation wouldn't be needed, which made sense and saved us some money. But he also suggested replacing our thermostatically controlled attic fan with a solar-powered model that would be on all day during the summer (without costing us anything for electricity). Another suggestion was to replace our 4-inch gutters with 5-inch so they could handle the amount of water coming down off the roof. He recognized the fascia boards that were rotten and pointed out that the new gutters would allow the flashing to be installed so that water would not collect behind the gutters. And, major surprise, the quote to get the job sone was in line with the ones we'd received from the other roofers. The job was completed in slightly less than a week, including a thorough clean-up of all the debris. Tomer offered to paint the new fascia boards so they'd match the old ones and cut off a paint sample so I could go to Home Depot and have a gallon of paint matched to the exiting color. (I got the paint myself and he provided the labor without an upcharge.) During the process Tomer came everyday to check the progress. We were in daily contact via phone, texting or email. Frankly, in addition to a new roof, I feel we got a new friend. If my own brother had been in charge he could not have represented us any better. Thank you, SLR Roofing! read more

Had a roof leak. My home warranty sent out another company and they told my home warranty company that the leak was under the solar panels. This was not covered by my warranty. I disagreed with this diagnosis as the leak stain was located in a different location. That's when I decided to get quotes from other companies. SLR was one of those companies. SLR was not the cheapest, but was reasonable. They were the first to come out for an estimate and was able to schedule the leak repair immediately. Other companies were a week out. I definitely wanted to fix the leak before the rain so I decided to go with SLR. Anton was a pleasure to work with. They came when they stated they would and Anton took pics of all the damage and what they fixed. He came back after the rain to make sure the leak was repaired. I would highly recommend Anton and SLR roofing. read more

I have been using SLR Roofing since 2019. I used them first to fix a leak. I chose them because they we clear on what they would be doing and didn't try to force me into buying a whole new roof when I only needed a section fixed. They were priced in the middle of the quotes I got and they gave me confidence in their plan. I'm an engineer so I wanted to know they really knew the technical details, which they did. Today (11/25/24) I had SLR come back for a check up before the rainy season. I was concerned about my concrete tile roof, fearing cracks from walking on it. When the technician, Miguel, came today he brought a drone! I was thrilled! The drone took great photos of the roof and all the vent pipes coming through the roof where there might be leaks. From this Miguel came up with a plan of where to put the ladder and how he was going to make sure the pipes were properly sealed. As part of the maintenance fee he also painted all the pipes. SLR is my go-to roofer - now with drones to make the job easier and safer and less chance of damaging my roof! read more

Tom from SLR Roofing came over promptly at the scheduled time. He took a long look at the roof after climbing up there and came back with a solution. I had gotten other bids from other companies. They told me that the area around the leak would have to be replaced. And the range of bids were quite high. Tom said he found where the roof was leaking and could be repaired by just putting some silicone sealant over the area. He suggested since he was already there he could seal it right then. He didn't even charge me for his work or the material! I am obviously very pleased and excited to leave him an excellent review. If I ever need a roofing company, I will go back to SLR. Thank you Tom. read more

In preparation for a possible El Nino event in winter, I wanted to have my roof inspected and, if necessary, repaired. I did this about 7 years ago as well. I called 3 companies and asked them to inspect my roof and provide me with a written estimate of work and cost. Over the next week, roofing contractors came by and walked across my roof to assess it, and subsequently sent me their written estimates. They ranged from $2,350 to $5,200. I would have been satisfied with only 3 estimates, but I had inadvertently called a fourth contractor, SLR Roofing. Tomer (Tom) came to my house and, like the others, inspected my roof. However, unlike the others, he told me that the roof was in excellent condition and needed no work. When I showed him the other proposals, he scoffed and told me that I was being sold something that I really didn't need. At best, all I needed was some minor resealing of several tiles with silicon. He got up on the roof and spent the next half hour doing this for free!! He asked for nothing in return. I can't recommend SLR any higher. They'll be the company I call when/if I ever do have an issue. Joel read more

Getting a new roof is definitely a stressful process. I called multiple companies and met with six different contractors, and they all gave me the same pushy sales pitch--I really didn't like that. But when I met Anton, it was a completely different experience and his estimate was very competitive. He answered all my questions and gave me all the time I needed without any pressure, which I really appreciated. In the end, Anton and the team at SLR did an amazing job on my roof, and I'm super happy with the results! Thank you Anton for all your help and support read more

Our project manager, Ram was organized, on time and always kept us informed about the roofing project. I was referred by my neighbor am I'm happy we chose SLR. Their work is very tidy and clean. I have had a leak in my roof for 3 years! 4 different companies tried to solve it but none succeeded. Tomar actually figured out the cause of the leak and solved it! Wow! I hired SLR in 2024 - they completed the job (over 4,000 sq ft of roof!) in late 2024. We had a leak due to the downpours we experienced in late 2025 and early 2026. Anton met with me and was entirely professional. SLR stood by their work and repaired the roof as needed at no cost. I am confident that SLR will stand behind their work and their warranties. read more

SLR roofing we'd recommend to anyone--If we could give them more than five stars we would. Everybody we spoke to was so extremely helpful, everything was extremely professional, cleanup was amazing, and the roof looks just great. Luckily they finished one week before a massive five day rain. We feel so safe and confident about the roof not leaking, it's a good feeling. They've actually done three roofs for us on different properties - if we had more we'd hire them for that. You can probably tell that we love SLR roofing, their pricing was extremely reasonable, so I would definitely give them a call. And I will recommend them to all my friends. read more

The SLR team along with Joey were very professional and prompt. They took care of our main roof with shingles and our den's roof which has a torch down rolled flat roof. They worked diligently to get the roof replaced within the timeframe quoted. Joey also provided us with detailed description of the work needed which included a recommendation to a contractor for our packaged unit and HVAC system. Joey and Victor (Extreme Cooling & Heating) worked together along with the team to get the unit moved to a better location on the roof. So far, the roof looks great in the shingle color we selected from the list Joey provided and we have no more leaks! SLR and Joey definitely have it running very smoothly. read more

With all the great companies on Yelp, how do you pick the one that is right for you? I was impressed by Tomer , the contractor and roofer who works for the company. First of all, he spent more than 30 minutes on my roof when we met up for the estimate, that gave me a feeling that he had checked my roof very thoroughly and really had a good idea of what it would cost. Others showed me Satellite View of my roof, as if I have never seen that before, Some hadn't even stepped foot on my roof. Let alone spending time to see our old roof, the genuine care he carried during the process made me feel he would try to do the best he could. His team was extremely efficient and finished my roof in as little as 3days, actually 2 days, because the middle day was spent waiting for inspection. I watched how his team worked the periodically just to see how they applied my Presidential TL , because this kind of roof has its own method of application, I have checked it online, that requires a specific skill for the system. I particularly noticed 2 of his workers showed excellent craftsmanship. Every time I texted Tomer , he responded in a very short time. His ""No hassle approach " is what made my experience with this company a breeze. Today, the city came for inspection and passed, Therefore I would like to share my opinion so you can benefit from it. During the Hiring process, I interviewed 6 companies. Read all their contracts and emails back n forth with them. You can save time and money at the same time. Why not? I would give Tomer and his team 6 stars if I could. read more

I worked with Joey from SLR Roofing on new roofs for two of my restaurants, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Joey was super professional, easy to work with, and always respectful of our time and space. He kept the whole process smooth and efficient from start to finish. What really stood out was how fair and upfront he was with pricing--no games, no surprises, just honest work at a great value. It's hard to find that kind of reliability these days. Ram and his team are great people to work with. I needed to find a roofing company to re-roof the buildings for my HOA. My colleague referred Ram at SLR Roofing. He hired them to re-roof our company's building after seeing 7 other contractors. He told me that they are very good. I got quotes from other 3 companies. Not only the price, the HOA board consider of the attitudes to the customer and the knowledge reflected when answering our questions, the punctuation to appointments and quotes quality, and the willingness to cater to our needs. SLR won over their competitors. Ram is patient and sincere. The re-roofing process went very smoothly. We look forward to future working together with them. Just one small thing that we hope SLR can improve: the invoice and payment collection being in the same day is challenging for our HOA management company. I suggest that, for HOA, to invoice the customer a week ahead, set due in 7 days, so the management company can issue the check in time. read more

Needed new roofs on two properties that were next to each other. Got several estimates that were close in price. However, Tomer from SLR came out and did a very thorough inspection and provided the most complete and detailed estimate of all the quotes. And their price was very competitive. As for the job itself, everything Tomer said would happen, did happen. The crew came when he said they would and finished when they said they would.
