I hired SLR Roofing to solve a leakage problem on a flat roof over my 3rd car garage and home office area. We ended up having to reseal the whole roof which cost considerably more than the last time I had it done 5 years ago. It appears that they did a good job coating the entire roof and all the exposed A/C ducting up there too. My only reason I didn't give them a 5 star review is because they didn't power wash the roof before applying the new Silicon waterproofing material. They just swept it down. Also I had to ask a few times for a copy of the warranties for the materials used. The copy I received was filled in by hand and had white-out on it despite instructions in bold letters that said "Hand written forms will be returned" so I'm not sure if my warranties were ever properly processed and submitted. read more

After a frustrating experience with Gates Roofing (they gave me a quote and then declined the job!), I had to again go on the hunt for a roofer to fix some leaks. Fortunately for me, I called SLR. Lior came out very promptly, went up on the roof to inspect it and told me that it looks good. We went over the areas in the house where we'd experienced leaks, and he pinpointed the areas that needed repair. I approved the job, and his excellent, prompt and professional employee showed up the next morning to do the work. A few hours later it was completed (for a very fair price). I met with four roofing companies to replace my old terra cotta Spanish tile roof. SLR Roofing, and Salem the Project Manager, were easily the most upfront and no nonsense about the project. They didn't try to "sell" me on anything and very rationally explained the work they'd need to do and provided a quick detailed estimate that day which gave me comfort that they're a well run operation and that they're not trying to eventually load your estimate up with unexpected costs once the project begins. They conducted the demo work quickly (despite there being 4 underlayments one on top of each other over installed over the last 80 years) and took care to clean up after themselves. They replaced rotting wood, adding new flashing, new underlayment and preserved existing tiles while interspersing a few hundred new tiles in a way that preserved the original look and feel of the house. The finished product looks pristine with consistency across the entire roof. We couldn't be happier with the final product. Would highly recommend. read more

I had gotten 3 quotes to re-roof my home recently. SLR was in the middle. I almost chose the lowest priced quote but gave Leor the opportunity to go over it with me. Leor came back to go over the quotes and explained why his quote cost more and how the work he was performing was going to get the job done right. We needed to change our old leaky roof. We got quotes from multiple roofers, and ultimately, decided to proceed with SLR Roofing. Unlike some others, scheduling the initial visit for estimate was easy with SLR Roofing. The price was also reasonable with scheduled payments as the job progresses. The owner, Lior, comes for the initial visit and quote, and is the direct point of contact. He is easily reachable, responsive, professional, and yet very friendly. He explains the process, and doesn't try to push more expensive and unnecessary options. The roof replacement took only three days as planned: first day for demolition and replacing the poor lumber, second day for inspection, and third day for installing the new roof. On the forth day, there was a final inspection. Beware!!! We had our roof replaced 7 months ago and now we have 7 leaks in our place after having 0 previously. The company refuses to do anything and is taking no blame, even though we have video and picture proof it was their company that cause the problems. He is a con man!!! Do not trust!!! Edit - he is lying through his teeth again. Their work is directly responsible for the leaks in my roof. If my ac was "leaking" explain to me how when your work got fixed it stopped the leak even though i never touched my ac?? The overflow pipes you put in are the pipes that leaked the most. It caused massive damage in my bedroom. You cut in to our existing pipes to merge the overflow pipes with our current drainage pipes and did not seal them correctly. This review is for everyone else. Lior and his team removed a 30+ year old flat roof (4 old layers) and replaced it with a new one. They were ready to start as soon as we signed the contract (a rarity in the industry right now with long wait times for everything). Once started on a Monday, the great crew worked long hours to complete most all of the job in four days. They cleaned up pretty well and the roof looks great. We are doing a $500k remodel of a historic 1929 spanish revival in Pasadena, CA. We hired Hartford Gandia as the contractors who brought SLR Roofing on the job to handle this very large and difficult roof. At the point of our remodel when it came to time to do the roof we had a lot of frustrations and nervousness about the quality of subs coming to our site. These guys took an astonishing 7 weeks go thru every single tile 1 by 1 evaluating which could be kept and which should be thrown out. For 2 of those weeks they mapped out where they would lay out the tile and then laid it carefully and perfectly. My husband and I bought our home in April and were advised to have a roofer come check out some temporary patching around the flashing in a couple of areas on our roof. We had 3 or 4 licensed roofers come out and they all said the exact same thing: We needed some sealing done on our roof and some covering of exposed nails - both necessary to prevent leaks. It's what some roofers apparently refer to as a "roof tune-up." Not only was SLR the most reasonably priced, they came out in a timely fashion, provided a free estimate on the spot, and their project manager Yahav was by far the friendliest person I spoke to in all my communications with roofing companies, AND the most knowledgeable and prepared! He was in constant communication with me from the moment we met until the moment the job was done. In the span of a week, he had come out and given an estimate, scheduled the job, and completed it.
