I have reached out to SLR for a quote for a small leak in our roof. First appointment, which was on a Monday, got cancelled due to rain which was understandable. They rescheduled to Thursday, nobody showed up. Called again and Rescheduled to following Tuesday, technician still doesn't call or show up. Two stars because the receptionists were kind. But seems like they need to be a bit more organized with their communication with their technicians or remind them of their appointments. read more

If you're looking for a roofer that will take on a big jobs, this is not the company for you. They are very nice and professional but unfortunately they don't take on difficult jobs. My roof is steep and apparently beyond their scope of work. At least they had the decency to call me back and explain why they would not take my job. Unfortunately, in the roofing business they want to make quick money with the least amount of work. If you look at the pictures that this company has posted the roofs that they have worked on are just as steep as mine. It is definitely about making quick money, regardless of what they say. I called SLR Roofing to replace a possible broken tile and some underlayment (solar installer had recommended) SLR roofing performed a complete inspection and found no missing tile, told me the roof was in good shape and didn't need work. An entire portion of our (southern) roof was increasingly compromised and leaky, especially after those winter storms. Got three bids and while some had a nice response and showed attentiveness, SLR was fantastic from the start. They sent out a great guy, Ram, on this job and he was all over it. I was given a very reasonable quote and went with them based on price but mostly their reputation (yes, I looked at Yelp, for one). My job was for a 35% of my roof area repair, so they pulled the concrete tiles, and ordered some very close matches (that Ram let me approve) for those tiles that had to be replaced. New paper and some minor wood repair under the tiles. The crew was fantastic. They knocked it out in a day and a half. Even helped me with some loose cables dangling after those winter storms. A very impressive crew and SLR has offered a 10 year warranty so if I experience anything like I have been, I know they will be there. He walked me through what to expect, timelines and their process for the project. I pestered him with a ton of questions and he was always polite, professional and accurate in his answers. Once the project started he was always available and responsive. The crew worked diligently over a 4-day installation. Anton and crew were also able to seamlessly coordinate with an HVAC installation to install and flash around a roof platform that was also being installed. I have a steep roof and unfortunately some of the debris they pulled off slid down and ruined my gutters. With no questions asked, Anton arranged for a new gutter installation the day after the installation was complete. I'm very happy with the finished project. I just had a new roof put on the front of my house by SLR ROOFING COMPANY and I couldn't be more pleased.. I had to do only the front because of some leaks under my solar panels. The project manager, Anton, explained everything in detail before I sighed the contract. He found an almost perfect color match, up to code, in the new cool type shingles, to match the existing shingles in the back side of the roof. SLR repaired all the areas in the wood part of the roof where there were leaks/rotting wood /etc. Because we had no vents in our roof, Anton explained that he would install 2 vents in the roof as well. Everything was included in the original estimate. There were absolutely no surprises. Nothing was left undone. They came when they said they would snd the new roof was on in a day. Anton new I was in a hurry because the summer heat had just begun and I wanted to get my solar panels back on the roof as soon as possible.. He saw to it that the roofing job began quickly and was finished in a very timely manner. The price was right... in-line with other estimates I had gotten from 5 other companies.. What more can I say.? Everything went smoothly and easiiy. You bet I will call SLR when I need the back half of the roof done.too. We've had a leak in the master bedroom for a number of years. After the last large rainstorm, we decided it was time to get it repaired. We called LSR roofing, and the owner Lior, came out and gave us a reasonable bid and discuss the options that we had. He also reviewed the methodology that they would use to replace the roof. We accepted their bid and their people came out the following week. Miguel was the project manager but he was a hands on supervisor. They remove the old roof very carefully so they could reuse the tiles. They put the membrane down and installed flashing around all the edges and valleys and then return the entire roof back to at least as good, if not better condition than when they started They cleaned every day so that by the time they left, it looked as if they weren't even there. They were very courteous and professional and it was a pleasure watching them work each day. We would wholeheartedly recommend SLR roofing to anyone looking to get either a new roof or repair an old roof. read more
