Came for lunch on a Monday and had our choice of seating. We opted for a booth, but the rest of the space was bright and airy and seems to be suited for groups of most sizes. I got the Blackberry Bumble mocktail and the Sweet Potato Chickpea sandwich. The drink was tasty, as was the food. It came with a huge side of curly fries, which I was too full to finish. Service was friendly and quick, and the bathrooms were nice and clean. I wish I could give 4.7 stars though, because by the end of our meal, there were tiny little gnats flying around and crawling on the table. Otherwise a lovely meal!

Such a great local spot in Brighton. Sloane's is located over by Harvard's skate park and next to the Trader Joe's to give you a sense of where to find it. I've been here a few times and it's been delicious every single time. I highly recommend the mac and cheese. So creamy and delicious everytime, without fail. They have a nice outdoor seating area with high tables that face an opened window which is the tabletop of the bar inside the restaurant. So you're physically outside, but also sitting at the bar. A pretty cool concept. Not to brag but my team was kickball champions in Volo (what's good) and Sloane's kindly filled up our boot trophy with beer. A night to remember for sure.

Food was actually quite good. The single pancake is just really good - but I don't know how. I also got the Eggs in a Hole, which was a very delightfully confusing concoction of savory and sweet (it's in banana bread!). It wasn't very busy for Sunday brunch but somehow service was slow and not great - they didn't come fill our waters, food took a long time to come out, and in general the waiters just never really came by. Price is decent and interior is quite nice.

Sloane's is a Spectacular place! While in the area after a show we decided to stop in here (saved as a Yelp bookmark) for a late night snack and drink and it did not disappoint. The restaurant vibe was friendly and inviting and the decor was modern and spacious. We sat at their outdoor bar area and were greeted by the friendly bartender named Bart. I ordered a glass of wine and my hubby had a tequila cocktail, both were excellent. We started off with their popular wings and got Buffalo sauce on the side mainly because I had a white dress on and didn't want to end up wearing it lol! These wings were the best and I do mean the BEST we had. You must order them! For dessert, we went with their other popular item the Snicker Bar. Omg we were in heaven with the first bite! So scrumptious, and decadent and very flavorful. A party in my mouth for sure! If you have a chance to go to Sloane's you will enjoy everything from start to finish. And I also want to be invited. We can't wait to come back here for brunch, I hear it's amazing! Cheers!

We had heard about the great brunch at Sloane's from a few people so finally found a Sunday to go. Despite being in an unassuming location (I had mistakenly thought it was a hotel restaurant for awhile!), it certainly lived up to the hype in many respects. Lovely ambiance and inventive menu made for a fun (and not too expensive) brunch experience. For food, I decided to try one of the more unusual items on their menu -- the egg in a hole in banana bread -- and was not disappointed. The subtly sweet flavor of the roasted banana bread combined with the runny egg, caramelized onions, and bacon jam were an explosion of sweet and savory flavor. I also got one of their cinnamon rolls of the day (pecan), which I enjoyed (though was slightly sweet). My brunch mates also enjoyed their omelettes. The only let down was my side order of curly fries, which were stick hard and over salted to the max. Food: 1. Egg In A Hole (4.5/5) 2. Cinnamon roll (4/5) 3. Curly fries (2/5)

Sloane's is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. Delicious, craveable comfort food. I love the brunch especially the Benedict. For dinner I love the Irish spice bag - perfect amount of flavor, like a grown up chicken nuggets with fries. The burgers and pretzel chicken are also delicious. And if you are looking for something lighter, the Cobb salad is fresh and yummy. The homemade ice cream is creative and mouthwatering too!

Delicious food, excellent service. We've dined here a few times, both at the bar and in the dining room. Service at each is warm and attentive. The onion smash burger is delicious as are the curly fries. Most recently I had the Romesco Salmon which was amazing! A little spicy but cooled down by the yogurt sauce. Healthy, flavorful- I'll definitely get it again. The pot roast Mac n cheese is decadent, cheesy and perfectly seasoned. The tomato cheddar tart is a nice light appetizer we will order again. Only thing I'd skip are the pigs in a blanket- only because whether made at home or out they taste the same. Bonus (since I've recently had a baby): it's very family friendly!

I came here for brunch with my family, including a 15 month old, and I would return in a heartbeat. The wait staff was great with my niece and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing. The menu offers something for everyone and is unique from other brunch restaurants. I highly recommend the cheese & onion popovers. If you have a sweet tooth like myself, go for the stuffed French toast.

I've bopped by Sloanes a few times pre & post Trader Joe's trips and am continually impressed with the tasty menu! There's a good mix of very rich items and healthy options too. Also great cocktails and don't miss the desserts! Some of my favorites so far have been the Pork Cutlet sandwich (I added more cheese ), sausage corn chowder, cheese tomato tart, pigs in a blanket, chickpea veggie burger & rum raisin ice cream. I'm super excited to try brunch and that Midwest onion burger too! Overall really cool vibe, seems to be an industry spot with nice open space, Simpsons on the tele and friendly staff. They have plugs by the chairs too so strikes me as a place you could bring your laptop and do some "wine work". I'll be back!

This place came highly recommended by our hotel and was so glad they did! We were told that it was started by one of the winners of Chopped, so we came to check it out after work one night. Parking was street parking and thankfully we quickly found a spot, but would imagine it being difficult to find on a busy weekend. Walking in, the interior was beautiful! Felt very homey and chic. Upscale comfort. We got nervous we needed reservations, but there was plenty of open seating which was shocking. Menu had a good mix of options, cocktails as well. I went with the Mango chili margarita and the fish and chips. Drink was good, it had a habanero honey, but wasn't too spicy. It was really good and normally I do not like spicy drinks. The fish and chips was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, crispy and flakey. Came with fries and coleslaw, which were just as good. Perfect creamy coleslaw and crispy tasty fries. Everything was so good, we couldn't pass up on dessert and got the honey crumble cake... I'm not even the biggest dessert person and this was next level. I can't even put into words the taste or how good it was, just amazing!! I cannot recommend Sloane's enough - it's a must have!! Perfect for a good date night too if you're looking to impress. If I'm ever in the area, I'd be back again and again.

Absolutely amazing food on gluten free night! As someone who both celiac it's such a relief having options like this that are safe and delicious. We sat on the outdoor patio which was so nice!! The service was fast and friendly. I also had the creamsicle soda but drank it so fast I didn't get a picture!

The Reuben was perfectly grilled and rich in flavor and the fries were lightly crispy and well seasoned. The cocktails were fantastic with a good array of flavor profiles. Service was great, as well, and we were well attended to throughout. While it's not necessarily fine dining, I would definitely recommend as an excellent option for drinks or a casual meal with family or friends!

The interior is spacious and the service was great. I fell in love with the chopped not-liver ($13), which is a delicious eggplant spread that doesn't taste like eggplant but has a great savory flavor with a slight wine aroma. The pita bread that came with it was so warm, pillowy, and chewy. This dish was just perfection. There's an eggplant dip (Oren's eggplant) in the Bay that I have been craving, and now I have something in Cambridge that is just as good if not better. The haus smoked whitefish ($12) was also quite good. It had a lot of fish but wasn't too fishy, had good flavor and came with crunchy crackers. The fish and chips ($24) was tasty as well -- the chips are really crunchy and the fish was flaky and crunchy, and the sauce was interesting and spicy. Lastly, we got the halva ice cream sundae ($12), which was pretty decent with a lot of crunchy bits. I'm not a big fan of nutty flavors or milky ice cream, so I'm not sure if I'd get it again. There is a 20% gratuity automatically applied (we had 2 people, so I don't think it's due to party size). Service was great -- people kept checking on us and refilling our water. In conclusion, the eggplant chopped not-liver was amazing and it's everything I've been looking for. I'm excited to try more of their offerings.

The interior was dimly lit with exposed brick walls and sports on the TV screens. For drinks, I chose the 1, 2, 3, 4 mocktail. This was one of the best mocktails of my life! The refreshing early grey really balanced out the tangy mango cold foam with tajin. They had a substantial non-alc and low ABV menu, which I love to see. For food, we ordered a bunch of plates to eat family-style. Our server had recommended the Pickled Mushrooms, which I thought were just alright. My favorite item was the Burrata with gooseberries, and the Caramelized Onion Dip was pretty good, as well. I was really unimpressed with the Fried Polenta, which had the skimpiest topping of braised short ribs. As an extra touch, Chef Steve came out to our table to chat and describe a few of the dishes, which made the experience feel personal. Food highlights: * Firecracker tofu - perfectly fried cubes tossed in a hot-sweet Korean-style sauce; addictive. * Grilled broccoli - smoky, well-seasoned * Butternut squash soup - smooth and flavorful, elevated by roasted, ground squash seeds and a subtle curry note. * Polenta with short ribs - rich and balanced. * Smoked bluefish pâté - excellent texture though a little salty for my taste. Drinks: * Also Fancy - bright and fruity, but not overly sweet. * St. Peter's Bay - think mezcal meets Old Fashioned. * Bonus points: I asked for a custom gin gimlet, and the bartender delivered a fresh, mint-forward version that was amazing. Tall Order is a great neighborhood spot that's doing everything right. We'll absolutely be back.

It was such a cute hidden area, and I was already excited before we even got to the place. We headed upstairs into the bar, and the vibe was perfect. It's small, cozy, dimly lit, with vibey music playing. Since it was our first time, we were a little confused at first, but the waiter was super kind and walked us through everything. I ordered the Elly the Elephant and my friend got the Laughing Gull, and we both really enjoyed our drinks. One thing I thought was really nice is that they allow you to grab food from the surrounding restaurants and bring it in to eat there. We didn't end up doing that, but we did get the charcuterie board they had. It came with cheeses, crackers, and some fruit, and you can add meats for $10, which we opted out for. I will say I was a little disappointed by the fruit portion. The menu mentioned fresh fruit, so I expected more than three thin orange slices and one sliced strawberry. HOWEVER, when I asked for more strawberries, our waiter kindly brought out a whole bowl for me, which I really appreciated. We stayed for about two hours, and as the night went on the place definitely got more crowded, so we headed out. Overall, this is such a cute and cozy cocktail bar. I'm eager to try some of their other drinks, since the cocktails were definitely the highlight of the experience for me. The dim sum portions were larger than I expected, which meant we ordered way too much food. We had the fried chicken, the cucumber salad, the shrimp, the pork wontons, the soy sauce noodles, the daikon/enoki dish (I forget the name) and the charred broccoli. There wasn't anything I didn't like, but I did find that the flavor profile seemed very similar for many of the items--it seemed like most things were topped with a generous portion of chili oil, scallions, and sesame seeds. I found that this contributed to a fairly uniform flavor experience and was getting a little weary of chili oil after several dishes. The food was also spicier than I anticipated (though to be fair, I have a low spice tolerance, so others might disagree.) I would have enjoyed some less spicy options to balance out our meal. Overall, all the food was good, though, but I think if I come back I'd get fewer items (3-4 would have been plenty for 2 people) and that might also help with everything blurring together. The service was great and our waitstaff was helpful and attentive.
