When that car came to the end of its life recently, we needed to get a new car and install hand controls quickly so my son could get to and from work independently again. He had already tried that and it was worse than our couch recliner. She suggested that renting a powerlift chair might be helpful. It was on the pricier side, but the only other idea she had. Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

It started with my mother needing a walker on short notice. Her LaGrange Park doctor recommended two brands to us mid-March, and I worried we'd be challenged to find someone who was open and stocked them. Even amid lockdown, Shelly was more than willing to meet us, fit my mother, and get her on her way rather quickly and efficiently. I was so pleased to find someone in the area. As the weeks went on, my mother's health declined, and I called upon Shelly many times for various medical supplies, and she always came through, even delivering them to my door; that's no small thing when one is sole caretaker for someone with great need. I had to order his parts but when the parts came they scheduled his appointment Rescheduled his appointment because technician couldn't make it to our location therefore we had to wait another 2 months here we are in January they called and canceled again to cancel from the 20th of January to February 17th. I don't have faith they will show up then He's losing his slot for his program due to their technicians always sick or calling off. I understand things happen but damn. I sympathize and understand but this is ridiculous. If their technician isn't going to come to work get someone else to come out and make do repairs. he can stay in and do repairs. The scheduler asked me if we can bring him there. Yeah we can on Pace but we had a major major issue the last time we came there in which I can't discuss. They are good at asking you bring your child or your loved one to them. Maybe they shouldn't have mobile service because it sucks ass. I had some people to tell me to not use national seating and I did the Dum Dum and had them to do his chair. The sad part is when it comes to disability needs you don't have a whole lot of options unless you're rich, whereas you can afford to ship the chair or pay under the table or whatever to get things done. This is ridiculous. I don't want to say they are short of staff maybe they are or not. IF you don't need your equipment repaired in a timely manner you should probably go with someone else The positive whenever you get in there they will fix it. And just take forever after multiple cancellations.
