Now that phase 1 of the museum is complete and open we are amazed. A beautiful little outdoor theater, a play cafe and farmer's market, a real greenhouse and a Channel Islands themed playground are just a few highlights of the outdoor experience. The indoor has a nice little classroom and shop area and a really cool maker space including a cardboard "chomp saw" and lots of crafts! The staff are really kind, patient, polite, and helpful. They help transform this from a fun space into an inviting experience. You can tell how passionate they are about family learning. The museum is already amazing and a fitting successor to the library that used to be on the site. We can't wait for phase 2, when the rest of the indoor space is renovated and available!

The owner (Andrew) is truly a gem, and you can tell that he and his family put a lot of care into running the store. It's also a very family friendly place, and I'd definitely recommend bringing your kids to check it out. They have an amazing service team, and it really shows that everyone knows what they're doing. Every time my family and I visit, we're greeted with kindness, and they're always willing to help, offer advice, and show us around. You can really tell they care about their customers and have a genuine passion for the aquarium hobby. He deserved to live out the rest of his long life in a place where he can stretch his fins, and Aquarium Connection is exactly that place. The tanks are immaculately clean, the owner and staff are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and you can just tell that they genuinely care about their fishy friends. They accepted our pleco with open arms, gave us tips about how to catch and transport him, and overall made us feel so much better about surrendering Fred because we know for certain he's somewhere where he will be well loved and very well taken care of.

No apology. No empathy. No acknowledgment that their website is actively misleading customers. Just a shrug and a reminder that this is "how you learn for next time." My son was in tears. What's most frustrating isn't the miscommunication, it's the attitude. A good manager finds a way to soften the blow, acknowledge the failure, and make a family feel heard. Cameron did none of that. When I pointed out that if calling ahead is policy, it should be stated publicly, she had no real answer, just more deflection about how popular they are. K1 may be too busy to care about losing one family's business, but we had been planning a birthday party there. That won't be happening.
