We attended a 12 year old's birthday party here and lucky me, I got to play laser tag as well! This place was clean, the vibe (music/sounds from arcade machines) was fun without being overwhelming, and the laser tag area was excellent. There are all sorts of fun power ups, "generators" to be shot for extra points, and the design was two story. Which meant of course, the 12 year olds took to the high ground and took out all the adults. Best of all was the staff. There were so kind, accommodating, and helpful. My boys were really excited they won enough tickets to get a big prize and the staff was so great with them and patient to boot! Plus, they made cotton candy right then and there for all the party members. Fresh cotton candy is amazing. Normal price, only 2$. We came here on a double date a few days before Christmas and was shocked to find the place completely empty. We figured with schools out, kids/families would be spending a lot of time here, even late at night. However, that didn't bother us one bit and it seemed like the employees were excited to have some customers as they gave us excellent service. We originally had planned on doing both laster tag and axe throwing, but once we realized it would just be us 4 playing laser tag (& that isn't a whole lot of fun) we opted to just spend an hour or so axe throwing. We had an absolute blast. It was most of ours first time and after a quick tutorial, we were left with both bays to have fun. And fun we did have. It was great. I have no complaints & the employees even gave us an extra few minutes since they were about to close and no one else was coming in. Ultimately, we had a lot of fun. But we do want to come back for their laser tag to see how that part of the place is. Hopefully when we do, there will be more people there for more targets to hit. read more

Super fun place! You get separated into teams (in this case, blue or orange)! You put on a vest, and then can hang your jacket or put your purse on the place where the vest was. You have 15 minutes to shoot as many members of the opposite team as you can! When you are hit, it's hard to tell who is on what team for the 3 seconds you're out of commission. You have to have one hand on the bottom of the gun to shoot someone (an alert goes off from your vest reminding you to put another hand on your gun if you don't). The time just flies by. Afterward, you are directed to the entrance/exit where you find out what your shooting percentage was and what team won. Your shooter name will be on the front of your vest. I had a 10% hit rate my first game and then increased to 15% my second game. I'm a force to be reckoned with each game!!!! The game cost $21 for two games. You can also pay $35 for unlimited laser tags games. There are plenty of place to run, hide, and shoot. I had a fantastic time - and you will, too! There's also axe throwing (extra) and arcade games plus snack bar. Did I mention the best part? Free water after you finish. Go to the snack bar and you will find plastic cups plus a water jug!!!! We had never been here before, we walked in as newbies, and felt like we didn't matter, they cater to current clientele. We were exploring a birthday party for our soon to be 8 year old, told the front attendant "red", he could care less, sign the waivers ($84, PLUS $20 for TIP, FOR WHAT??). We waited 30 super fn annoying minutes after them stating a new game starts every 15 minutes, It seems they are relying on current clientele, not future. OMG, we came up from Arcadia for my nephew and nieces' birthday party -- and it was absolutely incredible! We had 10 adults join in, and honestly, I never thought I'd enjoy laser tag this much, but I couldn't stop playing! It was so much fun! Our party captain was amazing -- super friendly, organized, and made sure everything went perfectly. The arcade games were a blast too, especially this one called Pixel -- so much fun! Just wanted to give a shout out to Lazertag Extreme team. I booked 2 birthday parties there - one supersize for my 9 year old in November 2024 and one for my 12 year old in Feb 2025. We drove from Ventura to Simi for the parties, but it was so worth it. The staff went above and beyond to make the guests have a great time. My kids loved the laser tag. The food is absolutely horrible, I ordered mozzarella stocks- I wash served them literally white, half still frozen. When I bring them back, they say do you want me to cook them through? Umm yeah, I didn't think I had to ask None the less, I didn't want them or my money back just wont be back lol read more

I don't normally write reviews, but here goes: I decided to take my two grandchildren to play Lazertag for the first time earlier today in Wood Ranch. We WALKED IN THEIR OPEN FRONT DOOR on a Friday at 2:45pm. There wasn't anyone there yet. It was just a few staff members who were behind the front entrance desk, myself and my 2 twin grandkids. I was looking forward to them having fun. I initially engaged the staff in conversation at the front desk, where I was asking them questions about game length and preparation. I also told the manager that the Lazertag games were for my two grandkids, because I'm in my 70's, and currently dealing with a MEDICAL CONDITION, and it would be too much for me. After talking a couple of minutes INSIDE at their front desk, the manager informed me that they were not yet opened, but they would be in only 10 minutes. Since we were already inside, I asked the staff if we could just sit down at the table and chairs that were only a few feet away from us near their front desk, so if we had to wait, we would be inside in the shade. Due to my medical condition, I just needed to sit down. I was told by the female who identified herself as the manager, that that was against their rules, and that I would have to LEAVE the establishment and wait outside. I politely asked again if they would just let me and my grandkids sit inside for 10 minutes in the shade while we waited. The answer? No. Then another manager came out to talk with me. The new person, a young man came out and reiterated the same thing. I looked at them both incredulously and asked why they couldn't look past the rule for 10 minutes. We were only going to sit there and wait. Keep in mind, if the place was closed, the front doors should have remained locked until opening time. But when we got there, we walked right in. Whose fault is that? Ours? When I politely explained to their managers that if they couldn't make this small accommodation due to their mistake of keeping their front door open, I could just take my business elsewhere. His response was "that's always your option". That was my cue to leave, which we did. To be fair and for the record, the staff, did not say anything rude to me. They politely stuck to their guns with their nonsensical 'rule'. They were just grossly inconsiderate and insensitive. That is what prompted this review. I understand the nature of rules. I also understand LEGITIMATE liability concerns and THIS DOESN'T FALL INTO THAT CATEGORY. As far as rules go, I also have one of my own rules about BS: when BS talks, my wallet walks. read more

It was pretty easy to find, the only difficulty was using Google maps because it sent me a few blocks away instead of allowing me to use the lights right next to the actual strip mall. Plenty of parking and a few other random businesses, it is pretty much straightforward if you want to go for laser tag or ax throwing. They do have a few arcade games but it is somewhat minimal compared to the Dave & busters of the world nowadays. The snack area has random food items as well as plenty of refreshments from soda and Gatorade and beers. There's a decent little seating area if you were to show up with the party and wanted to have somewhere to celebrate. The ax throwing definitely leaves some room for improvement; in comparison to what the pictures online look like the ax walls are pretty worn and the axes are pretty dull. At one point a teammate asked for a different ax and the employee just went and grabbed another one from a giant roller work caddy full of axes and random items all thrown on top of each other. Needless to say there was no rhyme or reason as to what ax she picked up. The laser tag was the real gem! There are 3 levels inside the arena and tons of options for how to play. You can either shoot opponents or go for the targets worth points. Check it out. Get some cool prizes if you play at the arcade. read more

Visiting a friend in Simi Valley and this was our first time axe throwing! We were lucky that the owner was in town and showed us the ropes. She came to check on us several times throughout our entire visit and everyone cheered when one of us hit a Bullseye! It was a great afternoon. We didn't get to experience the rest of the games the facility has to offer but I will definitely return next time I am in the area! read more

We have celebrated my daughter's birthday here twice. The kids say the arena for laser tag is great. The space is clean and the staff is helpful and very patient! They have a lot of arcade games to kill time between laser tag games. The cafe has kid-friendly, kid-quality food. We've only tried the pizza, but it's fine. They also have chicken strips and mozzarella sticks and some other snacks. I would recommend Lazertag Acetreme if you are looking for a laser tag venue, especially for a large group. read more

My family and I had so much fun here! Drove from LA to enjoy their two-level laser arena. We went with the $35 per person deal to enjoy playing all day (I believe the other option is $25 per person for two rounds). We came and went as we pleased if we got bored/tired. There is a small arcade game area that my kids played while waiting for the next laser tag round. This place beats all the other laser tag places I have personally gone to. So I'll start by saying the actual Lazer tag experience here is pretty epic. Big arena, multi story, lots of places to run and hide. They have bases and power ups and really make it for a fun experience. That being said, we had a party of five and it cost $150 for literally 15 minutes of Lazer tag. So the experience was great but damn, I couldn't believe the total. I mean that's truly insane. For $150 I could've went to Disneyland for the whole day. read more

Our friends hosted their daughters birthday party at our his place last weekend. The staff are really friendly and the space is what you expect, an arcade. Honestly, it wasn't bad until you get to the food. I'm m not sure if it's the vendors they use or their kitchen staff but it's really hard to make pizza taste like cardboard and chicken wings to have a slimey texture. What was even worse was the smell of the chicken wings as they brought them into the enclosed party area. I've never smelled anything so horrific! It's a shame if the ownership has no idea how poorly the food is at this location. It takes very little effort to fix the issue and i hope they do. Otherwise, I cannot see this place surviving unless they allow patrons to bring in their own food. BTW anyone giving this place a 5 star review didn't eat the food so if you plan on spending $600-$700 for a party package, buyer beware. read more

Hello On Oct. 6, my granddaughter had a birthday party in the Simi Valley facility with 12 participants. I want to tell you our experience. The person giving the instructions to the children on how to participate in laser tag was ineffective. I'm a professor at a college and a nurse practitioner. I was one of the participants. This young man that gave the instructions talked so fast with no interest if anyone understood him. At the end of the instruction he curtly asked if there's any questions which I had though many of the children who were aged eight years of age and younger were to shy to ask. Our first game did not go well. First off, the man and the young girl who was supposed to help the children put their jackets on, did not. The kids did not know how to put the equipment on and had difficulty securing them on the side with the clip. I had to ask them for assistance for 12 children. In fact , I had to ask them each time we started a game. The children and I did not know how to hold the gun correctly so it would fire and where the extra points could be obtained. Your employees rushed the children around without proper attention to their equipment or giving instruction. This is unacceptable and I am very disappointed in your establishment. read more

My kids love this place and it's also great for birthday parties. Don't waste your money on the room where you dodge lasers while trying to make it to the other side. Lazertag Extreme is a great place to hang out with your friends (especially if you are in a big group!). You can purchase group packages and compete against each other in a few rounds of fun lazertag. I don't think it's too expensive; it's $10 for one round and $18 for two, but if you check in on Yelp you can get one round for free. They also have arcade games outside of the lazertag arena that you can play using a card that you top up. I came here with two of my friends on Sunday afternoon, which definitely isn't the best time to go if you are a teenager or an adult. The place was filled with young children running around and causing chaos. Some of them were climbing on top of arcade machines. It also wasn't fun to play lazertag with them running around, as they are so young. I suggest that you go during a time when it's not as likely that families will be there with their kids. This review is for the one time I brought my daughter here for a friend's birthday party. From the smiles on EVERYONE's faces (not just the kids at the party, but everyone in the place) I had to give this place a great review. My daughter and her friends had a blast! I'll start with the staff, because they were super friendly and appeared to be very organized. Bryce helped us check in and verify our waiver, it was quick and efficient, which when you have a bunch of excited kids is very nice. We showed up with about 8 kids all at once, and they manned all the registers to get us going. They have separate party rooms which is pretty cool! You have an arcade, and Laser Tag games, and then you have your own special room to hang out in and eat your pizza, cake, whatever. It's a nice touch, and you don't have to worry as much about keeping an eye on your stuff like you would at other venues. They appear to have a lot of security cameras onsite, it felt very safe. Restrooms were clean and well-maintained. My daughter had an absolute blast and even though we live 40 minutes away I am actually considering having a party here this year for one of the kids. We used to have them come out and do Archery Tag years back and now we have found their Axe Throwing facilities. I discovered axe throwing September and have been hooked. Went to LAAX and found a great instructor and private events for large groups but when I'm by myself or with 1-2 friends it's hard to spend money for an hour of throwing at LAAX and share a lane with random people that are learning and burning up most your throwing time. Laser Tag Axtreme is great since they only allow 2 per lane and you can book your time online. No need to wait around for an hour to get on a lane and share your time. Boards are basic construction 2"x10"s and have rounded corners leaving gaps between boards. Pros- -no waiting, make a reservation add know when you will throw -they invest in good axes and a variety -WATL spec for those who want to practice for league play -you can get drinks at the arena while you hangout or throw UPDATE- boards are on water schedule Cons- -(UPDATED) see above -boards also split fast and chunk out due no moisture -you are in a small cage. This makes it uncomfortable for some when winding back since you feel like you wIll hit the fence or that people are impeding in your wind up. I wish they would have invested in making a room for people to sit and watch or clear the throwing space. Costs are great. I was paying $30 an hour at golden axe and it was a 45 minute drive (35 mins more) from moorpark. I highly recommend this for a practice spot for the Ventura county and in general considering lanes to persons ratio and scheduling. I'm looking forward to bringing friends back to do once a month tournament between Friends UPDATE- Ryan has been overseeing our lanes the last two times and is a great asset. He understands the physics of throwing and coaches well for those who do not know how. read more

My wife and I had a lane for an hour and it was a quick instruction from the team member then a quick learning curve of how to hit the bullseye! Don't ever throw a birthday party here. Worst experience of my life. The owner talked it up so much on the phone while booking and not one single thing that was "promised" to me actually happened. I am a very relaxed, chill person, that can over look most things and just go with it but this was by far the most unorganized, unprofessional, horrible excuse for a "party". My 8 year old could have done a better job "hosting" a party. This place is a joke. I could write a novel with the *one thing after another* situations that happened but I'll spare you. This was my first time playing lazertag and it was so much fun. We were playing in the Corporate Games for Ventura and many of us have never done it before. They helped us understand what the objective is and how to score more points to win. Jason O, Nathan V, and Bryce H are super cool and have great customer service. The staff here is awesome!!!! The place and equipment is clean and well organized. We were also told about their party packages, private parties and corporate events(like the one we were participating in). They have an arcade area as soon as you walk in and a prize counter off to the right side. The party rooms they have are off to the left side. The snack they bar is also a plus. Came here on the weekend for a moms night out. We called ahead (highly recommend) but ended up running late. They told us to come 30 minutes later as they had another reservation. We finally showed up, signed the waiver and walked into the cage. We chose the 30 minute axe throwing experience and decided that an hour would have been better. As it takes you 15-20 minutes just to warm up to the idea. It was fun, but I think the throwing area should be a longer area. read more
