Hours are from 3-10pm, can be pricey but kids love it. They serve pizzas, beer , popcorn and treats. They offer free water

    Birthday party set up

Best birthday party experience ever! The kids had a blast! The owner was so easy to work with and accommodating. The staff helped so much and so attentive. My son wanted to start planning his next years party in the car leaving. Easiest and best experience. So impressed! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable experience, wish I could give 10 stars.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Lazertag Extreme team. I booked 2 birthday parties there - one supersize for my 9 year old in November 2024 and one for my 12 year old in Feb 2025. We drove from Ventura to Simi for the parties, but it was so worth it. The staff went above and beyond to make the guests have a great time. I really couldn't have asked for more supportive, helpful party hosts! The boys had such a fun time. I highly recommend this place for birthday parties!!!

It was pretty easy to find, the only difficulty was using Google maps because it sent me a few blocks away instead of allowing me to use the lights right next to the actual strip mall. Plenty of parking and a few other random businesses, it is pretty much straightforward if you want to go for laser tag or ax throwing. They do have a few arcade games but it is somewhat minimal compared to the Dave & busters of the world nowadays. The snack area has random food items as well as plenty of refreshments from soda and Gatorade and beers. There's a decent little seating area if you were to show up with the party and wanted to have somewhere to celebrate. The ax throwing definitely leaves some room for improvement; in comparison to what the pictures online look like the ax walls are pretty worn and the axes are pretty dull. At one point a teammate asked for a different ax and the employee just went and grabbed another one from a giant roller work caddy full of axes and random items all thrown on top of each other. Needless to say there was no rhyme or reason as to what ax she picked up. The laser tag was the real gem! There are 3 levels inside the arena and tons of options for how to play. You can either shoot opponents or go for the targets worth points. Check it out. Get some cool prizes if you play at the arcade.

Aim with a straight arm and a relaxed hand. "Release", don't "throw" the axe.

The eating area is spacious and has plenty of tables. The food is actually better than expected - especially the pizza. Reasonably priced as well. The only slight complaint is the very young staff. Seeing my kids eyes light up when I say we are going to Kids World..... PRICELESS!!! Normally, my kids are pretty easy to entertain. Give em an IPad or put on episodes of Bluey and it gives me the time I need to do the dishes, start the laundry and even run the vacuum. But after that's all said and done and the house is magically back in order (for now).... My kids will often say, "Daddy we're bored, can we go somewhere fun?" So we will usually go for a walk or ride their scooters which 9 out of 10 times is just a ploy to get me to take them to our local park. They get me, Every. Single. Time. Other times we will take a dip in our pool, especially now that it's summer. But sometimes not even the park or the pool is what they are looking for in terms of fun. So every now and again I will throw the, "hey do you wanna go to Kids World?" Instantly, their eyes get real big and their smiles get even bigger. For the record... Kids World in Oak Park is truly a Family Fun Center. Known for its indoor "playground" where kids and possibly adults (if you are good at ducking your head) and aren't afraid to get balls thrown at you from the ball pit can really have some fun all while creating good memories for you and your littles. Hey, maybe I'm just a hands on Dad, or maybe I just never really grew up, but I absolutely love just being a big goof and running around like a crazy person chasing my kids in an exciting game of tag. Through the twisty slides, the never ending tunnels, padded barriers, and of course the foam-balled, ball pit.... You and your kids are destined to get have some fun. Plenty of complimentary open tables to host a party; there are of course paid reserved areas available for larger celebrations. My only negative is the Kitchen area... They have a section in the back where it appears they used to have food? Maybe food is coming?? But the last couple of times we've came.... Nothin'. They do allow you to bring outside food and drinks which is nice, but I'm hoping in the future they get the kitchen back up and running. So the next time you feel like rewarding your kid with that play date you've been promising, or maybe you are looking for a fun place to host that birthday party without making your own house a mess... Come check out Kids World Family Fun Center!

Their own website clearly states to arrive at 6pm, with no mention of calling ahead, no reservation system, no waitlist. So that's exactly what we did. We arrived on time only to be turned away because the spots were already gone. Apparently there's an unwritten rule that regulars know to call ahead, information conveniently absent from their website. When we asked the general manager, Cameron, why this wasn't communicated anywhere publicly, her repeated response was essentially "we're popular", offered with the self-satisfaction of someone who sees no problem with the situation. No apology. No empathy. No acknowledgment that their website is actively misleading customers. Just a shrug and a reminder that this is "how you learn for next time." My son was in tears. What's most frustrating isn't the miscommunication, it's the attitude. A good manager finds a way to soften the blow, acknowledge the failure, and make a family feel heard. Cameron did none of that. When I pointed out that if calling ahead is policy, it should be stated publicly, she had no real answer, just more deflection about how popular they are. K1 may be too busy to care about losing one family's business, but we had been planning a birthday party there. That won't be happening. If you value clear communication and basic customer service, proceed with caution.

As I entered into the bowling alley, it'd be my first time there I wasn't sure exactly where the bar was located so I came in through the front entrance, which was the main entrance. And as I walked in the first thing that I saw to the left side was a facility called rock 'n' roll pizza so apparently this is the food that this bowling alley has to offer, which is all basically bar food and with the exception of making pizzas. I'm a real stickler when it comes to cleaning this this establishment rock 'n' roll pizza really needs some really deep cleaning especially everywhere throughout that front kitchen area where it's visible for everyone to see at that walks by. And also the appearance of the employee should all maintain a certain type of uniform and not all wearing different pieces of garment. All employees with no exceptions should all be wearing hair, nets, and or hats to cover their hair particles from falling into any of food preparation none of the employees whatsoever we're wearing any hat, nets or hats. This was a big concern for me. Food handling, and food safety is very imperative.. Not sure who the manager was at this location no name tags on the employee so really couldn't identify who they were. There was two female females and a male the mail was making pizza.. So bottom line the review is basically on the rock 'n' roll pizza bar area. It really needs to look be looked at. I will be there again in amend this review for the whole bowling alley.
