This is my second location coming too. I really enjoy this place. The food is always hot and fresh. I think her name was Mindy, she was so nice and greeted me with a smile. Service was top notch. Very typical fast food chicken spot. The ranch potato chips are super crispy house-fried chips, but they didn't taste like "ranch," even though they were covered in white powder. The chicken fingers were just okay, and you only get one sauce pack with an order- they charge you for every extra sauce. It's not worth going out of your way. read more

I will say this their chicken is cooked fresh, it's moist and crispy. The Mac and cheese even though it comes from a bag it is amazing. I got it in there limited time buffalo chicken Mac bowl and wanted more it was amazing mix and hope it comes back full time to their menu. I understand that this is a small chain restaurant. It was super busy when we arrived, but we were able to find a table. My husband ordered the wings and tenders, my daughter the chicken and Mac n cheese and I had the loaded fries. The food was good. The chicken tender with good flavor. I was not a fan of the slim sauce (my husband had it with his chicken tenders), but the jalapeño ranch was delicious. read more

I really love this place. Their chicken is always tender and immaculate. I love their fries and their sauces. The only problem I have is their tea is always unsweetened and bitter even if I ask for sweet tea again after receiving the unsweetened tea. I have visited Slim Chickens multiple times since their grand opening on 23 May 2022. Their drive thru opens at 10am, dine in is 10:30am. The online website doesn't clarify that. Be prepared for a line, but know this, you won't wait very long to order or for your food. They do on-line ordering and curbside pick up. With on-line you need to come in to pick up and also make your drinks. I made sure I gave them time since they are so busy. There is a shelving unit that holds the on-line orders. That said, I have to date enjoyed the following; Chicken Tenders, Texas Toast, Slim Salad, Chicken & Waffles, Fried Pickles, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Fries, Milk Shakes (Vanilla and Chocolate), Brownie Jar, Brownie, Raspberry Tea, Lemonade and Sweet Tea. The chicken tenders were indeed tender and juicy. The fried coating was just right. I like Texas toast and I haven't left any behind for the meals it comes with. Slim's salad is a nice balance of fried or grilled tenders, greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, croutons and fried onions. The selection of dressings is good. Fried pickles are so yummy. No heavy coating, I like them light, and these hit the mark. You get a good portion of them too! The chicken and waffles fill me up. Those tenders, yum yum. You get a nice dollop of butter and if you take it to go, it comes with cup of syrup and butter. Otherwise grab the Log Cabin bottle at the condiment station. The milk shakes I tried were delicious and came with large diameter straws for mega slurping lol. The fries are crispy and tasty. Potato salad is good, as well as the coleslaw, not the typical found around here, but that is left for your taste buds to discover. The brownie has mini chocolate chips and is so moist. I kept getting one free by doing the survey that is at the bottom of the receipt. The brownie jar comes in glass canning style jar that has Slim Chickens on it, and it's yours to keep. Those dessert jars are $6.99, but worth treating yourself. They have Strawberry cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake as well. I like the lemonade, I look for the slight pucker after I drink some, lol, which I got. Now the teas. I really like the raspberry. The sweet tea isn't what I would call Southern sweet. So I would add more sugar by using the packets that are available to make it as sweet as you like. I did. Can't say enough about the friendly staff. They even cleared my finished dishes. Slim Chickens has made a convert of me. I really like their chicken. If there is any cons to be found, one is the size of their lot. They should put in a parking deck (yeah, that busy) and more curbside parking spots. And they need more bathrooms. Not expecting those cons to be fixed unless they expand or move to a larger location. Maybe in time! read more

This is our 3rd slim chickens visit. The other 2 locations in TN and MS were delicious. This location was delicious as well. Well seasoned food, big portions with a reasonable price point. The tenders are amazing, the grilled chicken tenders were moist and flavorful, not to mention how good the fries and the okra were! "Chicken" got my attention so I gave it a try. First off, they just didn't have enough help for the lunch crowd they got. I know that is the common theme in fast food these days. They one's that were there, were working feverishly to make things right. I got a grill wrap to try and it was ok. NOT great but ok. Somewhat skimpy on the chicken. I also got a 3x3 of Parmesan Wings & Tenders, I had to know! That came with Texas Toast and fries. The bread was not good, the fries were above average. I thought the wings were ok too but the tenders would bring me back. I would say a step above Zaxby's and the same type tender. All and all, I would go back to try other things too and I hear this franchise is growing quickly. read more

Waited 20+ min just to get to the speaker box to order. They had a QR code to scan for the menu while in line and the online menu had things on it that was not on the menu at the speaker...the girl taking our order asked us three times what we wanted because she couldn't get it right. read more

We have eaten at Slim Chickens at least 15 times since they opened up. Service has been really great and food fresh. No issues so far, fingers crossed. No pun intended. Their sauces are key, so I think for that reason they go light on the seasonings in the breading on the chicken fingers. This is a breath of fresh air to be honest. If you like your fingers seasoned within an inch of their life because you've burned the taste buds off your tongue from years of dipping, drinking, and smoking, stick with Zaxby's. The meat is the star here, and the breading and seasonings secondary. Which to me, is great. The potato salad is great it's the kind that has that bacon ranch sort of flavor, similar to Sweet Pepper's PS. Mac and cheese is good. The fried okra was better than Cracker Barrel's. The fries were fries. Fresh but nothing special. I don't get excited over French fries. We got the mug desserts and hubby liked the strawberry a lot. I had the chocolate and to be honest, it was just okay. The toffee pieces were the best part about it. The pudding and brownie were not the best to me. It was fresh but just cheap tasting. We got them through the drive through and kept the neat glass mugs. I am happy to stick with the chicken fingers and skip dessert. Overall, we like this place.
