I have been to this location several times as it is down the street from my house. I love that menu options include fried and grilled chicken tenders. Their fries are seasoned and sometimes can be a little too salty. I recommend the buffalo chicken wrap with the grilled tenders. They have a large selection of drinks as well. My only complaint is sometimes the cashiers don't seem too enthused about working there

I recently ordered Doordash from Slim Chickens and was a bit disappointed. I've only tried Slim Chickens once before and was pleased but this time, the food was just not great. I got the chicks meal and didn't realize how small the tenders were! They were only the size of a small fry and they were very dry. I would go for a chicken sandwich next time. I also ordered a drink that came with the meal but sadly did not get one. I contacted our driver and she said that they never gave her one in the first place. Not sure who's at fault but overall, the meal was very bland. I did enjoy the slim chickens sauce though! It's like a twist of the Raising Canes sauce which I enjoy! I would try this place again in person but will keep expectations low.

The chicken was grisly! Bland, tender when not biting into the gristle! Sauces were store bought like, if not! I probably won't be back! Front counter guy nice enough!

I thought the experience we had was good but there are a few things that would make it great. 1. Environment: The place was clean, spacious and pleasant! They had extra syrup and ketchup in bottles available. To take it up a notch, they could get a dispenser that kept the syrup warm. Drink selection was good. Pepsi products. 2. Service. They were friendly! Greeted us when we came in and as we were leaving. We ordered through the app and dined in. The server gave us the wrong cup size. By the way, the large drink is in a sturdy plastic cup. I wish they eould move to paper...I digress, the server pleasantly fixed his mistake. 3. The food. I thought it was good. Other people have commented negatively on the fries but I thought they were tasty. The strips were good tasting, however, a bit on the small side. Seriously, they were long but they were all very slim which made me feel like they were not the best value. Other people have commented that their food was not the hottest. Ours was just warm enough but I would have liked it hotter. If we would have taken it home and warmed everything up in the air fryer, this review would have been a five. The waffle was large and fluffy. And while not hot to the touch, was crisp on the outside and still warm on the inside. Another way to elevate this restaurant would be to serve all the sauces that they serve on the side warm. I really liked the menu...right now they are featuring a strawberry/chicken salad I would like to try as well as some wraps. The jar desserts are pricey but they look good, I think I'll try those on my next visit. And the fried pickles... And the mac & cheese... So to summarize, I really like this restaurant and I want to love it. I hope management is reading the reviews and seeing the themes. I will give it another try and I will definitely get it for takeout and heat it up at home.

I ordered the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, and while it was okay, it really lacked flavor. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't memorable. My daughter ordered the fish and chips with the loaded fries upgrade. She said the fish wasn't very good, which surprised me because she absolutely loves fish and almost never complains about it. She was hungry enough to eat it, but it definitely wasn't something she'd order again. As for the loaded fries, paying an extra $1.50 wasn't worth it. There were barely any toppings, so they were still dry and didn't really feel "loaded" at all. Overall, the meal was just mediocre. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either, especially for the price. I might give Cheddar's another chance and try something different, but after this experience, it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way to eat or find myself craving. There are plenty of other places I'd choose before coming back.

We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

Some of the people in our group thought some of their dishes were a little bland, but I liked everything I tried. We had the okra and fried pickles for appetizers. The pickles have a very crunchy breading and a dip that was delicious! The okra is very good - especially with the dip for the pickles. We also tried the biscuits with butter and peach compote. They were great! Unique, fluffy, flavorful, and definitely worth a side order. I ordered the chicken and waffles with the peach. It was a good dish. The chicken tenders had a little bit of a spice that I didn't totally love, but they were still good. I also tried my friend's shrimp and grits, and they were delicious. The person next to me got meatloaf and brussels sprouts sprouts and really enjoyed it! He was practically licking the plate! Everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks as well. They absolutely have the processes of this little restaurant honed to perfection, and even during a busy lunch time kept things humming so that there was minimal wait time (to order, for the food to be brought out, and to pay for our meal). Many, MANY thanks to Robert, who seated us, took our order, brought our food out, and settled our bill. He was friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. It was a joy to watch him work; he made sure to greet each and every customer coming in the door, and was consistently so upbeat and positive. And many, MANY thanks to Tony at the grill! Our food was FANTASTIC!! I have high standards for Mediterranean food, and the falafel wrap was totally delicious! The falafel itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy outer layer, and the other ingredients in the wrap were chosen for a perfect melding of flavors. I had the side salad, with homemade Thai peanut dressing, and it was equally tasty. My husband had the patty melt, which came on homemade bread (!) and was, per his report, perfectly done. His side was tater tots, and we shared them. They were crisp and light without being greasy, and addictively yummy! The restaurant is in a strip center; it's not very big, but the tables are well placed so that no one feels cramped. The open reception area and kitchen/grill make it easy for the staff to respond to what's happening in the dining room (e.g., new folks arriving).
