For one thing, there food is generally pretty good. I will say sometimes the chicken fingers are a bit overcooked and not tender, but compared to other places not bad at all. My huge issue is their order consistency. I think only twice out of 6 times have they gotten our order correct. Neither in person or on Doordash.. I have ordered their chicken sandwich so many times, but I think have gotten it once. Thursday evening... my sandwich ended up being a yummy container of mac and cheese. Not quite a chicken sandwich and I suspect a lot cheaper too. I know it is on me to check my order and also get a receipt, but it wasn't a complicated order. The car in front of me had a huge order and I had to wait behind them for quite some time, so you would think they would have had time to regroup. So I promise to check my order next time I attempt getting a chicken sandwich or maybe start going in.. lol Generally I never concern myself with a wrong order. It happens.. we are all human and mistakes can happen. My issue is out of only 6 orders to this same restaurant, 4 of them haven been wrong. Comparing that to my last 100 visits to other to other drive thru's both in the area and across the country, over the past year or so, the number of incorrect orders is about the same with only 4 being incorrect. That's a terrible error ratio... or I am just the most unlucky person at this place. lol Possibly due to the long wait, they orders behind me started stacking them up a bit and causing a bit of chaos for the guy at the window, but I still think they could do a lot better... I know I will be watching them closely if we decide to try them again. read more

I ordered a classic meal and was shorted a tender. I called the restaurant and got Ricardo, who said for me to come to the restaurant tell them Ricky said I am to get a free classic meal for my order being messed up and they would give me a free classic meal. I asked him how will they know I am supposed to let them know and he said he will let them know. I go today to get my meal (because it's out of the way) and was told since he wasn't there, I couldn't get it. And for what you actually get, they charge too much. I've watched the construction of this business for months and it's finally open! The first time I stopped, by the line was out the door and the drive thru was packed so, I decided to come back during lunchtime. It was still relatively busy during my second visit but a pleasant one and worth the wait! I was greeted upon arrival at this brightly decorated, retro establishment. The menu is packed with choices so, it took a minute and with the help of Cheyenne, I decided to try several different flavored wings, fries, and a drink. Unlike most wing restaurants, I was able to order ONE wing of each each flavor!!!! Decided to go with 1 garlic parmesan, one honey bbq, one buffalo, and two sweet red chili. After placing your order, you are given a number and your order is delivered to you if you are taking out or brought to your table if you are dining in. The wings were all perfectly cooked and delicious! The sweet red chili was ALMOST my favorite but it was a tad too spicy so the garlic parmesan won and the fries were sooooo good!! As I waited for my order, although a bit loud, I enjoyed oldies music and people watched. While eating my meal, I noticed employees taking their breaks. They placed their order, and was served their meals like customers. Oh, in case you don't finish your meal, there's a DO IT YOURSELF TO GO area!! Stopped into the new Slim Chickens in Traders Point. I got the 5 & 5 meal with 5 tenders and 5 wings which I got dipped in Korean bbq ($14.99) .The wings were good & crispy however they were small if that matters to you. The korean bbq was good but heavily resembles buffalo wild wings teriyaki sauce . My tenders were just that TENDER and juicy,which was my fav part of this meal as well as the crispy fries. My cousin got the Cayenne Ranch Chicken sandwhich meal (9.99) and rated it 7/10. The oreo cheesecake jar looked delicious but end up being a 5/10. The ambiance was calm and service was good. The lady at the register was patient and gave suggestions of her favorites and the lady that bought our food to the table was nice and polite as well. At that location they are the only pure chicken place. I heard they are new but the way my orders were mishandled was not acceptable. The food was good but the service was terrible. That's why they're getting a 2. There wasnt a line in the store, so wait wasn't so bad. The staff seemed to be having a good time with each other and not really focused on what they were doing. I didn't pay it any mind. I get my food and I go all the way home, I realized they gave me the wrong order. Saw this place was coming here and was excited to give it a try! We stopped here on a Wednesday afternoon. They weren't too busy but we opted for the drive thru! We placed our order and waited for our food which took about 12-15min total. I didn't mind the wait as it told me our food was being prepared fresh. We ordered the Buffalo Mac, the Tender Mac, Smoky Cheddar Wrap, Potato Salad, and a Chicken Tender Kids Meal. All of our food was pretty good...it's chicken, so nothing too fancy but tasty! The staff was really nice and they even gave us two free brownies. Food was pretty good. Everything certainly tastes hot and fresh. However, most everything is fried and breaded, so nutrition and Keto-friendly isn't really a thing here. Two complaints: 1.) Lobby/entrance isn't big enough to handle any line longer than about five people. Why in the world would you put the front desk literally 10 feet from the front door? It seems silly to have such a small amount of customers that are waiting crowded out the door (FYI- there is no airlock door, so people are standing outside). 2.) This was a horrible experience. I ordered two chicken sandwiches shaken with Inferno and pickle only. It took four minutes for the drive-through person to understand this order. Pretty simple. I paid a visit to this new establishment on 10/12. It wasn't quite busy but eventually the lunch crowd arrived. I ordered the honey bbq chicken wing basket with fries & garlic toast. The place was clean & tv's were set to different sport channels. My food was brought to me about 10 minutes later. It looked very appetizing but the 1st touch was disappointing. The wings were not hot to the touch. They were barely warm. I took my 1st bite & noticed the chicken was lukewarm & tough (day old). I decided not to return my order. The fries were fresh & hot & so was the garlic toast. The sauce was good & could have been great on hot fresh wings. Finally a server, Briatinna, asked if I was enjoying my meal. I said, "No, the chicken is cold". She noticed I was about to leave & she asked if I could wait in order to fix the issue. She had the manager bring a full order to me to take home. She asked if I could try at least one wing to make sure it was ok. Unfortunately it was not. Sadly, she got the sauce wrong & my mouth was on fire from the spicy wings . She apologized profusely & suggested I take it home for someone else. I said I'd rather not. These strips were so dry and salty, I could barely swallow them. The fries were not just cold, they were dry and hollow......so they were definitely old. The only good part of the meal was the Texas toast. My husband got a Smokey Cheddar wrap and the potato salad. He said he couldn't believe they charged $13.79 for what he got. My third visit on the 14th of November was night and day different. Employee just grunted at me when I said thank you for my order. I decided to try their wings. They were overcooked and if we had had a recent nuclear attack, I would have chalked it up to that. My chief complaint was served a side of potato salad that couldn't have been more than 2 tablespoons; it certainly didn't fill the bowl. The cost of it was $2.99.
