The food was fair. I got the pastrami sandwich combo. While the fries were hot, the sandwich was not. The pastrami was a bit dry. The guy at the counter was friendly enough while taking our order, although it was us who thanked him when we walked out & not the other way around. The major issue I have with this business is that when I got home & went to throw away my receipt, I noticed a message on the receipt saying " To cover the cost of accepting credit cards, we collected a 3% credit card surcharge." That might be fine & good for people who aren't aware that this practice is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL in California. You can look it up yourself. "Businesses in California cannot add a direct credit card surcharge, thanks to California Civil Code 1748.1, but they can offer a discount for using cash or debit, as long as the advertised price reflects the lowest possible price and the discount isn't misleading. A newer law (SB 478, effective July 2024) further cracks down on "drip pricing," requiring advertised prices to include all mandatory fees, meaning businesses must either absorb credit card costs or display the *total* (surcharge-included) price *upfront*. In other words, you can charge a fee, but it must be included in the cost of your product for everyone. I'll dispute said surcharge with my credit card company, & won't eat here again. BUT! If you're thinking about eating here, know that they are illegally charging you a credit card surcharge, which by the way, isn't even posted anywhere except your receipt. AFTER you've paid it. Stumbled upon this burger spot as we searched for something that was nearby. Saw good reviews on Yelp, so decided to give it a try! The bacon jalapeño cheeseburger and Philly cheesesteak were good. Everything was portioned well in the burger. Cheesesteak was steaming hot! Came in a hot dog bun, and topped wjth the two cascabella peppers. Crinkled fries were fried nicely, nice crunch and not too oily. Regular sized fries was the perfect amount to share between two. We got the house sauce, it was good as a dip for the fries (each sauce costs $0.50). It wasn't a quick or long wait, somewhere in the middle. While cycling I rode by this place and figured I could use a pit stop. What attracted me was their halal burgers. The part that really stood out was that they let me bring my bike in. Establishments that let bikes in are like angels in disguise. So needless to say their service was very hospitable. My burger did not take long and it was delicious. The ambiance is very clean and they got a decent size spot for the area. The parking is challenging if not impossible here so you can forget about driving. Their single cheese burger costed me less than $10 before tax, which is increasingly uncommon in SF 2025. All in all, 5 stars for this halal establishment! read more

Pretty standard burger place, nothing really stands out. Staff is kind and food was ready relatively quickly. Cheeseburger is pretty decent and balanced, and the patty has a nice char on it. Great burgers and just around the corner from me! We came in on the weekend for the first time and ordered a regular burger, the impossible burger, and a side of onion rings. The food was quick and just out of the fryer so it was hot and well done. Everything came exactly as ordered (my partner prefers limited toppings and it's always a gamble to see if his order comes out correctly). The onion rings were super crispy. There's not a lot of salt on the sides, so add accordingly (definitely a perk for those who are watching their sodium intake). It's a nice little restaurant, the service was fast and super friendly. This is my experience. The cheeseburger was mushy and over done. I didn't know that was even possible before I ate here. Also they do not know how to serve it properly. I got it to go and part of the container which was not opened properly was INSIDE the bun. When I pulled it out the cheese came with it. Also I asked for extra catsup and they provided no catsup. I should have checked before I left but it was not busy and my order should have been correct. Lastly they somehow added my bill incorrectly and it took ten minutes while my burger cooled and congealed for them to figure out that I did not order fries! SB was actually recommended to me by one of my Uber drivers recently who said this is the best burger in the Polk area. Given that I live very close SB I had to give it a try.
