A well seasoned good burger. I've been here a handful of times and I'm pleasantly surprised with how good and consistent the burger is. Reasonably priced $15 for the single cheeseburger combo isn't bad. Food comes out quick and the workers are nice.

We just randomly walked by this location and we're interested to try it. This restaurant had plenty of seating and very friendly staff. The best part about it was everything was Halal. I really enjoyed the pastrami burger and the french fries are super crispy and salty. Everything was presented nicely. We planned to only eat a little bit of and take the rest to go, but it was so good. We ate everything on the spot! Highly recommend!

Lunch special.

I came here for burgers and fries. Fast, clean, friendly and good. Thick steak fries with a nice crispy but tender crunch. Burger was tasty and I enjoyed it. They have a good variety to choose from. Big room and large TV to watch sports on. Sorry no photos of the food. Was good and too hungry to take a photo it what I ate!

Came around 7pm on a Thursday night and the place was full. My group of 4 got a seat by the window and it was a nice street view that allowed for us to people watch while eating! The food itself was yummy! The fries were crispy and the burger was big and juicy. A good quick meal to grab if you're in the area. There is one bathroom towards the back of the restaurant.

This place is incredible! Awesome menu with a lot of great burger options and sides. I had the Western and cheese curds - both were fantastic. The interior of the restaurant has a great aesthetic and the employees were very friendly. Prices are totally reasonable for SF. I will be returning to SLIDER BUNS asap!

#2 Double Burger - Combo

I live near here and I come here when I want a cheeseburger and some hot fries or onion rings. Really efficient service, they serve you, they leave you alone.

Cheeseburger, French fries & Zucchini sticks with ranch dressing

The cheeseburger was delicious, nice job on the toppings. Zucchini fries were cooked dark & crispy- so good! The ranch served with them was awesome. Crinkle fries were nice and golden brown. Well done & thank you!

Single Cheeseburger

Pretty standard burger place, nothing really stands out. Staff is kind and food was ready relatively quickly. Cheeseburger is pretty decent and balanced, and the patty has a nice char on it. Not really a fan of crinkle cut fries in general, I find them to be dry/require a lot of ketchup. Some of the other hot sandwiches look interesting so I'd like to go back and try them out. There's a 3% surcharge for credit cards.

One of the best lunch specials in the area! They are generous with the French fries and the burger is good. They also have fountain drinks.

The menu is very clear about what you're in for. - Lavender Sgroppino: basically a fancy alcoholic frozen lemonade, everything I wanted it to be! - Irish Coffee and Parmesan: this was... interesting. The base drink, basically a frozen espresso martini, was good, but the topper cheese was SOOO salty. If that's your vibe, try it! We switched out for a brut, which was lovely. The apps were excellent! We got the smoked salmon sliders and the 100 layer, both of which were well-designed and very tasty. Our waiter was excellent. Super attentive without being invasive, very fast service. And the vibe of the place is so cute. Will DEFINITELY be coming back for the full dinner!

That's why you rarely see me lurking about on Chestnut St. However, here I was looking for a bite to eat before heading home to the tenements. I had heard of this spot because I heard the double smashburger was pretty tasty. There were a lot of people out on the patio but not a single diner inside. Guess where I sat. Not in a burger mood, I first went with an indulgent treat, the $11 Brioche French Toast Bites, five of them dusted with powdered sugar and accompanied by maple syrup (Photo 8). Quite tasty and gone in seconds. I followed this up with a surprisingly healthy choice, the $18 Dirty Girl Castelfranco Salad, an exceptional mix of sugar snap peas, sunchokes, cara cara, and sunflower seeds tossed in citrus vinaigrette (Photo 9). The wait on a Wednesday evening was kind of long but doesn't feel too bad when you're with good company. My friend and I waited about an hour around 6:30. The mushroom pizza was very flavorful. The corners and sides were crunchy, it was topped with lots of cheese and mushrooms. It was the perfect amount for 2 people. We also got the olive oil cake which came with a dollop of what I think is whipped cream cheese. It had a strong olive oil flavor, extremely moist and delicious. We were seated at the bar and although it was a little tight, it was nice to be able to look around the decorated area behind the bar. Tons of vinyls and quirky decor. Servers were also very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

Everybody has any reason to say it's a better burger whether it's for the purple onions, pickles , or buns. There is a place which serves the Cali Burger. On a West Portal stroll there is a burger place which sells the Cali Burger. The Cali Burger means fresher ingredients usually locally sourced in California. Calibur is the place to get an organic grass fed burger. I got the double cheese burger with Calibur sauce. It was tasty and it had great flavor along with a soft bun. The fresh grass fed cheese burger pairs well to eat with cheese fries in SF. The fries were crispy and saucy and got a bit messy. Calibur also sells chili cheese dogs along with different flavors of shake including Neapolitan. Overall a good place to fresh grass fed cheese burger on a bun. You can get organic beef that's grass "fed"with Calibur sauce "spread" and a soft fresh bun "bread"although they don't have onion rings or purple onions you can get raw with yellow onions or the onions that are "red" The organic ingredients locally grown under the California "sun" get a grass fed cheeseburger medium or well "done" take a shot with Calibur and I ain't talking about a weapon like a "gun" but get something loaded with beef and cheese on a "bun"

The woman at the counter was really friendly. I used to work retail and dealing with customers, even at the start of the shift, can wear you down pretty quick. So I gotta give props to her for being positive during this very busy day. I got the crispy hot honey chicken tacos, which is one of this month's specials. It came with delicious sweet corn, cabbage slaw, chipotle mayo, and a cilantro-lime crema. It's basically the flavors of elote with fried chicken and it yummy! The breading on the chicken was even and crisp. And I enjoyed the spicy-sweet flavor of the honey, which complemented the chipotle mayo. I also enjoyed the crunch from the cabbage and the softness of the flour tortilla. I paired with it the fried Brussels sprouts to get another veggie into my meal. Though I do love very charred sprouts, there was a hint of bitterness. I may have needed more lime to cut that. The jalapeño mayo was good. But I think tossing it in pork fat is the way to go with Brussels sprouts to really pump up the flavor. I'm not sure what oil they fry it in. I think I'll stick to their sweet potato fries, which never disappoints. It's always busy there, but it's never too difficult to find a place to sit. It's shared seating, with long tables inside and large tables outside. But my friend and I took it to go so we can have dinner with the show. And the timing was perfect - we didn't wait too long to get our order and we arrived about 20mins before the band started. The quality of Gott's has been consistent over the years across their locations. So it's a tried and true place to get a delicious meal.
