All that water got in my car and my seat and car floor were absolutely drenched. There was also a nasty smell. I sent a message to multiple business on yelp and Ahmed from Top Shelf was one of the first to reply and even gave me an estimate. He also let me know that the smell is most likely mold forming and he wasn't going to charge for the drying part of the process. He was only going to charge for the shampoo and biohazard part. It was originally going to be a 24 hour process but there was much more water than expected so it took longer than I would've liked. But the job was done properly and that's what's important and Ahmed kept his estimate price the same when he charged me. There was leftover disinfectant or excess UV protection that left an oily feel to the interior consoles and wheel. I left it to dry for several hours but it was still oily where I had to wipe everything down with a microfiber cloth. Several stains were not cleaned (might not have been part of the detailing package I guess). There were a couple of orange stains in the backseat that weren't there before ... maybe it happened during cleaning but it came off with a quick rub with a wet rag. Lastly, the outside edges of the trunk and my wheels were not cleaned well or at all.

I had high hopes from this place based on their reviews, but I think most of their customers just get a car wash while they're at work and are thrilled with that. For a car wash, they're fine, but I could get their "full interior and exterior detail" from the car wash up the street for a fraction of the price while I wait. If anyone reading this review wants to save two full days of their life (time) and a headache that no paying customer has time for nor deserves, Jack's Wax Center in Essex did a phenomenal job detailing my second car over the weekend and uses all name brand products, shampoos, Meguiars waxes, etc... more than a garden hose. Jack's full price is the same as Robert's Groupon price so he doesn't feel inclined to cut corners any way he can.
