Customer service and the quality of the "detail" (car wash) left a lot to be desired. The owner (Robert Shrader, who leaves his own 5-star reviews on Google, Yelp) asked that I bring it back so that he could touch up the areas that were missed the first time, and I did, but they rely on sub-par methods, materials, and products. I had high hopes from this place based on their reviews, but I think most of their customers just get a car wash while they're at work and are thrilled with that. For a car wash, they're fine, but I could get their "full interior and exterior detail" from the car wash up the street for a fraction of the price while I wait. If anyone reading this review wants to save two full days of their life (time) and a headache that no paying customer has time for nor deserves, Jack's Wax Center in Essex did a phenomenal job detailing my second car over the weekend and uses all name brand products, shampoos, Meguiars waxes, etc... more than a garden hose. Jack's full price is the same as Robert's Groupon price so he doesn't feel inclined to cut corners any way he can. read more

I am temporarily working in a building where Meticulous Detailing is located and as soon as I found out about them I went online and easily requested an appointment. Robert sent me a confirmation email within a few hours and the next day I left my car with them while I went to work. They were extremely professional, helpful, efficient and they did an amazing job! Not to mention their prices are better than a mobile detailing company I've previously used (who did a good job but I wasn't as amazed as I am with the work Meticulous did). Oh and I loved that they had a cute dog hanging out with them I really hope to be able to use them even when I'm no longer in this building. read more

Excellent and true to their name - meticulous attention to detail. Arrived as they said they would, spent two hours using lots of elbow grease and cool equipment to get into every single crevice and crack. Not a spec of dust or dirt on or in my car. I'm sorry I didn't take before photos to do their work justice. My car came out cleaner and looking newer than when I bought it (brand new) from the dealership. Unfortunately I cannot rate the quality of the detailing/wash because I was ghosted after Robert made an appointment with me to get my vehicle cleaned. It is quite frustrating because I was on a tight timeline due to a military transfer and the need to have my vehicle thoroughly cleaned before shipping it. I called Robert numerous times prior to my appointment time and got no answer. I do hope he is okay, but it is now two hours past my appointment time and I've heard nothing from Robert or Meticulous Detailing. read more

Former smoker gets new car! My husband's 2007 Jeep Cherokee was a MESS - spilled food/beverages on both seats, center console, floor, headliner, and cigarette ashes/nicotine residue throughout the entire vehicle. The guys arrived 90 minutes after the scheduled appointment - but they called to tell me they would be about that late. When I spoke to Ryan on the phone, I told him that this was a former smokers vehicle and that it would present challenges for them. Upon seeing the Jeep, he understood, however, the quoted price of $175 still stood after the work was done. The Jeep looks better than it did the day we bought it; smells clean, not like a smokers vehicle. Our only issue, one we did not discover until a couple days later, was that the front and back windows were a bit streaky. To that, having cleaned them myself, they are a bit difficult due to the angle of the window. read more

I had an impromptu vacation planned and needed my car cleaned in 2 days and I called the owner to try and arrange a quick service and Rob was more than happy to oblige. By far the most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. I've had 2 appointments that were given to me by the owner. I took off work on both days and they were a no show, no phone call, no text, no email. It's impossible to get them to answer the phone and forget about leaving a voice mail, they don't return them. I have a Groupon, which is expiring in a few days. If there was a minus rating I would give them a minus 10. I had to give them at least one star to submit. They don't deserve one. I don't recommend buying a Groupon or depending on Mobil detailing. read more

Phenomenal, couldn't ask for anything better. I have an Alaskan Malamute. My car was carpeted with fur everywhere. Brian did an excellent job removing all the fur and cleaning the entire interior. Great work. I absolutely will be using Brian and Meticulous Detailing again. read more

Great service! I own multiple dogs that I take everywhere with me. I don't know how but they got ALL of the dog hair out of my truck. It was cleaner than when I first bought it from the dealership. Robert was great. Dropped off car in the morning and they worked with me to get it back at a convenient time. My car had many scratches and wear and tear from car washes. Robert spent extra time and money to help remove these. I will be taking my other car to him ASAP to get the great look he gave my other car. read more

Not only did he "Meticulously" clean my car inside and out. But he had a very professional demeanor, and took the time to clean the small parts of my car.
