We order from Sliced on occasion and 9 times out of 10, the food is very good. Tonight, however, I decided to place my order through Door Dash for pick up. That part was easy and I received both a text and an email confirmation that my order would be ready in 55 minutes to 1 hour. When I got there 1 hour from the time of the order confirmation, I was told it would be another few minutes. Then, it was almost like they forgot about me! About 25 minutes later, I finally got my order and was told by the waitress, "Sorry but we were waiting on a few items". Our pizza, nor the garlic rolls, were hot...they were barely warm. And, the pizza was a little over-cooked on top. The salad order was also incorrect. While I am normally patient and really do appreciate those that are working out there, waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes for 1 pizza, garlic rolls and a salad is a bit much. If you are running far behind on orders for the night, do not lie to customers and tell them an earlier time slot or that it will be ready "in a few minutes more" when that is far from the truth. I'm all for supporting small/local businesses but those businesses need to earn that support through good customer service. We will be back but hope the next time, Sliced has their act together. read more

Went here on a limb with my Dad when he was passing through on a work run (he's a truck driver). The place was really clean and there's plenty of space for social distancing. I got the veggie pesto pizza with fried eggplant and my Dad got the Greek Salad with extra chicken and extra feta (he's doing keto :). The pizza was delicious! And loaded with veggies. A pizza than can feed 3-4 people was only about $18. My Dad is a big guy and he was stuffed from the salad. The chicken breast was very fresh and juicy and flavorful (you could see the steam coming off it). Our server was really friendly and attentive, too. I'm not in the Braselton area too often (or ever), but if I am I would definitely come back to get some pizza or try something else on the menu! Ordered food to go, was told that it would take 30-35 minutes to be ready. Arrived to get food 40 minutes after food was ordered and was told still had a few minutes. Ok, that's fine I can understand especially on a Saturday evening. But the location was empty. Sat and waited in the store for another 20 minutes for food to be ready, no reason, no apology. I cannot say enough great things about the Hoschton location. The staff is absolutely amazing! They're so genuine, which is hard to find these days. Huge shout out to Ameena and the management team. I'm from Alpharetta and work this way about 2-3 times a week. I always come back. Not only is the staff totally fabulous the lunch specials and value is amazing! You can eat here cheaper and healthier than going to McDonalds. I will be using them for all my future company events, and will keep coming back as long as these amazing individuals work here. Love the pizza here. By far the best pie in this area. I just wish they weren't always out of the garlic knots. You have to get in there early if you want to get your hands on these elusive little gems. DON'T call them for catering. I called a MONTH in advance for my daughters 1st birthday that is in the building literally right across the street. They said they'd have their manager call with a quote. Waited two weeks heard nothing, so I called back same thing "we will have the manager call you" a week later still nothing. So my husband called and they gave him the same stupid answer and now here we are 4 days from her party and still haven't received a call. I always have to wait about an hour no matter the day, but today will be my last time coming here. I've had ok pizza from them. Nothing to write home about, but it's close to my house so I deal with it. But today, I had to wait 1-1/2 hours for this pizza. I open the box and it's literally swimming in grease. All that brown you see in the picture is grease. No amount of napkins to sop it up would've made this edible. And the dough looked old and was burned on the bottom and the sauce looked horrible. Sorry to say it guys but yall just plain dropped the ball on this one. We normally dine in but had to do the P/U last night. NO ONE liked the pizzas. Called in a pickup order for 2 pizzas around 6:50. Was quoted 50 min, great no problem. Show up at the restaurant around 7:40. Pay for the pizza (tip 20%) and proceed to wait until 8:20 to be told our pizzas ripped in the oven and we would need to be issued a refund. Waited an hour an a half in total to get no food and have to go find dinner elsewhere. To say I was extremely disappointed would be an understatement. This the second time we've asked for our pizza to be cooked for a little extra time. And twice not only do they dump all the toppings into the middle of the pizza, that makes it a complete raw sloppy mess, the entire pizza was under cooked. When I can bend the end piece and it folds like a soft piece of bread, it isn't cooked long enough. Couldn't even scrape up the goop in the middle. There was a glitch with their computer system so orders got backed up a bit. Could be the reason why it was rushed and not cooked. So they gave us 5 free garlic knots. That tasted like raw dough with no garlic taste at all. Once I can totally understand. But twice? Shows me this is how you're making your pizzas now. This place was great and just what we need in Oakwood !! Took the kids and they devoured the meat lovers pizza and loved hanging out at the place. The outdoor seating looked perfect but it was a bit chilly so we sat inside. Turned out to be just as fun. I love the energy, decor and vibe of this place. The pizza was authentic and delicious. The downtown blocks between Hoschton and Braselton need some more dining options so I'm glad that Sliced is here. It's a very casual and funky interior with a colorful, industrial feel. I thought that the pizza was way too greasy and would've gone with a 2-star, but the family eating with me all seemed pretty happy with theirs. The hallway running to the restrooms is a little odd in that you have to walk between the staff areas, but my daughter declared the bathroom "rustic and beachy!" Reasonably priced and the service was quick. I hope that it continues to improve and succeed because I'd like to see more local businesses do well in this little strip of shops. read more

As we were taking a little country drive through Hoschton, we came across Slice. The place has a nice vibe to it other than having to order at the counter. We ordered a Margherita pizza. Pies here come with a thin crust but in my opinion, there was too much crust on the edges. The ingredients were of good quality and it tasted good. read more
