I love this little place. They really should do a better job of marketing. I so wanted to live this place. We've lived in Hoschton for 5 years and have never been here. It has always gotten mixed reviews from anyone who had been there. I really like the chef who started this so we finally made it in. Place is very eclectic and has a fun vibe inside from the rustic decor to the graffiti writing on the walls. Ordered the lunch special single slice and salad. The salad was very fresh and for a side salad it was huge. My pizza came and it was not very appetizing. Overlapped paper plates with a large slice with crumbles of sausage piled in the center. It looks as if the pizza was cooked and the sausage thrown on as an afterthought. The crust was the best part. Crispy and thin. There was very little sauce that I needed to ask for more sauce. The pizza overall was very salty. The sausage was very salty. I really couldn't finish it because it was so salty. My husband ordered the meatball sandwich. It was huge with a large amount of fries. The meatball was homemade and was toasted with mozzarella and ricotta cheese, tater good but again overly salty. If I judged on pizza I would say 1 star but all in all I will give it a 3 star. Not sure I would come back with so many other pizza places nearby. read more

The server who was taking orders was very friendly and sweet, she was quick to take our order and very hospitable. She was on top of making sure our food came out in a (somewhat) timely manner. Unfortunately the pizza felt stale, not cooked properly and took a while to come out. Starting with the smoked chicken pizza, it was basically a stale cheese slice with toppings thrown on top. The chicken was inedible and had to be picked off, the onions were raw, the cheese was hard. The build your own was the same story, it appeared they didn't even throw it in the oven after placing the toppings. So the toppings were cold and the cheese was overcooked. The saving grace was the mozzarella sticks, I'd give this place a 3 star on these alone. They're weighty, stretchy, and taste great. The marinara is chunky and fresh served alongside. The pizza slices shouldn't cost $6 each for what you get, maybe $3 considering it's reused cheese pizza. The ambiance is nice, small town, homey, but unfortunately lacks the authentic fresh taste that mom and pop restaurants usually bring. read more

I haven't been in here in years but I live an hour away and would DRIVE specifically for their bbq chicken pizza with the fried jalapenos! The pizzas taste incredibly fresh and I love the flavor the fried jalapenos give the pizza. Every time I had went, it wasnt busy so we were serviced quick. read more

We got 1 beer, 1 sprite bottle, 1 calzone, 1 smash burger and fries and it came out to $40 we also got add ons. The environment is friendly and nice. If you're looking for a place that's not mediocre or overly expensive take it from me. If you're looking for good food that doesn't hold back on flavor it's here. We go to Sliced several times a month. We end up getting a small pizza for the kids and a large pizza for my wife and I. The food comes out fresh, hot and delicious. They can get very busy on some days but well worth it. The staff is friendly and approachable. The ambiance and setting is a typical pizza joint. If I ever could give a suggestion would be a couple more tvs with football/baseball/soccer games. Love this spot and will probably be back sometime this week. read more

Stopped by on my lunch break for the Wednesday special i kept hearing about from my co workers . They have a special for $2 pizzas on Wednesdays and 75 or 85 cents for each topping more you would like to add which was not to bad of a deal. The pizza was decent i give it a 5/10 . I'll probably like to try this place again but not for pizza they also look like they offer pasta and wings a well. Wowzaaaas. I've been working and visiting the Winder area for a little while, and this place is by far one of the best places to grab dinner. The pizza- way beyond expectation... we got the white pizza and added sundried tomatoes, basil, mushrooms... and to our joyful surprise, they added fried eggplant. - and that was the proverbial cherry on top. It was SO GOOD. even reheated (toaster oven for the crispy win) it was delicious. I'm now sold on the eggplant for life. The Greek salad- loads of toppings, quality greens, dressing was alright (I grew up working for authentic Greeks who made their dressings) a healthy portion for the price. The piece de resistance....for all that's holy -was a tie... actually. Because that fried mozzarella- threw me off- I literally thought I accidentally ordered a friend cheese sandwich (more like 2 of them- according to the four hefty slabs) ... it was so - crispy and cheesy and seasoned just right. The marinara that it's served with was equally as delicious - and next time I will be ordering an extra (or 2) because one- is not enough. -&- cannoli. Oyyyy. Mama miaaaa. The shells are crispy and the ganache style filling is - fluffy, fresh and perfectly executed. Great pizza and service! Picked up a pie and garlic knots for game day and very happy for our first fry. Small pizza place, has a bar, tv, small and comfortable and order from counter or pick up. I called ahead, ready when I got there, and huge- 18" pie( Domino's large is 14) under $30 for the both, enough to feed 4! Will be coming back next time we want pizza. Highly recommend! read more

I ordered via DoorDash: White pizza -$19 - Mozzarella, Ricotta, and Basil Wings (5) -$5 Bacon Chicken Sandwich - $9.00 - FYI comes with tomatoes. We opted out for our meal. Overall the food was really good, yet it came just warm and not hot. The fries with the sandwich were cold. The pizza was warm, not hot, and on the smaller side of $19.00. In total there were about 6 large slices to the large pizza, I thought I would have had a little more for the price. The chicken wings were really good and we had ordered mild. I am not one for spicy food, but this was a perfect spice level. The chicken again was not hot, but still crunchy even though it was sauced. I love a good outer crunch on a wing. Overall via DoorDash we spent approx. $46, it was okay for the price. Hopefully, we can get into the restaurant soon to try their food fresh. Unfortunately the quality of food and service has taken a major downturn. The last few times we have eaten here, the level of carelessness has been very apparent. Often, toppings are just tossed onto the pizza in a clump, apparently after the bread and cheese has been cooked. The last several times we visited, the toppings on the pizza were barely cooked, if at all. I paid extra for extra toppings, and the pizza I got barely had any at all, and would even be sparse for a normal pizza. I sent it back, then I'm pretty sure they just gave me the same pizza again. Their flavored sodas are often out of order, The "coca cola" equivalent has been out of order the last 3 times we have been here. This place has such potential, so experiences like these are especially disappointing. I guess it depends on who is working in the kitchen. When they're on their A-game, it's the best pizza around. But for several visits now, the carelessness in the kitchen just ruins it. Hopefully they can pull it together. It pains me to write this! read more

Good pizza overall! Hoschton is a small town next to Braselton, and it has a very cozy small downtown area. This restaurant is located in that city center. The environment is nice, and we decided to sit outside in the gazebo near the restaurant. The pizza itself was good, but nothing that felt too special, especially compared to some of the other pizza I've tried closer to town. Even so, this was a great local pizza option, and the team was all very friendly. I might go back in the future, but it wouldn't be on the top of my list. read more

I like this place when the management cares about what they do. We stopped in on Sunday. 1:00 pm two tables occupied. six customers not including My friend and myself. We were greeted right away and place an order for a medium cheese pizza and a calzone plus drinks, 27 dollars plus tip. Tipping before service isn't a good way to ensure future customers. We gave 20%. We waited over 45 minutes for the order. Gladly we were in no hurry, But that is just sorry. I have extensive experience in the restaurant / Pizza industry and I know how long it takes to process orders. I am not just speaking of our experience, the other tables saw the same lack luster approach to customer service. No there were no huge wave of "To Go" orders either. The quality was good, the ingredients are superb. the Calzone looked amazing. My pizza which came out 7 minutes before the Calzone (photo enclosed) looked like a rookie made it. 2.5" of crust before the cheese began. Sad. Will we be back? Service non existent . Went in and we're greeted at the door and they asked if this was our first time. we told them it was and they sat us at a booth. They never checked on us after that . The bad part was there were 5 employees working but were watching TV and chatting within 20 feet of us. If you asked me a month ago, where to go for great Napoli style pizza, this place would have been the answer. The wife and I drive up from Winder a couple of times a month. Last night the wife wanted some pizza so we drove there. WTF happened?!? The minute they served our pizza I knew something bad had happened. Whoever made this pizza wasn't the same person(s) who prepared them in the past. With the exception of the crust, I have eaten better frozen pizza. We always order our pizza with a light amount of sauc. This thing was swimming in sauce. Instead of cheese being sprinkled on top, it looked like slices of grocery store cheese were laid on top; solid white. I asked our server what happened, and she said they have some new staff. We have been coming to Sliced almost since it opened. Tonight was probably the worst experience we have ever had at a pizza place. Pizza was over the top in garlic. Rootbeer was out which is understandable you can run out of something. No garlic knots even though we saw other tables get them. The fried cheese was over cooked. The cannoli had a little filling on both sides and it was completely hollow in the middle. As I watched the girl take it back to the back she and one of the cooks huddled and started laughing so I will not eat what was brought back to me. We order from Sliced on occasion and 9 times out of 10, the food is very good. Tonight, however, I decided to place my order through Door Dash for pick up. That part was easy and I received both a text and an email confirmation that my order would be ready in 55 minutes to 1 hour. When I got there 1 hour from the time of the order confirmation, I was told it would be another few minutes. Then, it was almost like they forgot about me! About 25 minutes later, I finally got my order and was told by the waitress, "Sorry but we were waiting on a few items". Our pizza, nor the garlic rolls, were hot...they were barely warm. And, the pizza was a little over-cooked on top. The salad order was also incorrect. While I am normally patient and really do appreciate those that are working out there, waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes for 1 pizza, garlic rolls and a salad is a bit much. If you are running far behind on orders for the night, do not lie to customers and tell them an earlier time slot or that it will be ready "in a few minutes more" when that is far from the truth. I'm all for supporting small/local businesses but those businesses need to earn that support through good customer service. We will be back but hope the next time, Sliced has their act together. read more

We waited outside. Picked up pizza got home opened the box bit into a literally raw pizza. The pizza was not done we place in oven to cook, it was the most disgusting pizza we every had.
