Hard to find any fault with this place. The pizza is fantastic the wood fired crust with garlic brushed on it. I had the veggie pizza and had then put sausage on it. We are in Twin Falls tonite, on our way to Yellowstone. Our hotel recommended a restaurant, looked like the usual..., we went on Yelp to find a "brew pub". Slice Pizza came up, reasonable reviews. What a find! Amazing food, we had the wilted spinach salad with chicken, excellent, enough for two! We also had the humus, very nice. The best though was the beer...the bar tender (Colton, Cole? Sorry, can't remember) had awesome recommendations for brews. I had an Alaskan IPA that was world class. We live in the Silicon Valley. If this place was there, it would be our go-to spot. read more

I've been living in Twin for a few years, found Slice a little while back and the first few times I went, I really liked it. Recently (6mo) the place is slipping. The last few times I have been, they have been REALLY stingy with the toppings on an all veggie pizza. How thin can the onions be? Why are there only 4 or 5 onion strings on the pizza? What about the olives? Still tastes decent, but not worth the $16 I paid. The last time I went, I discovered that they now are charging 3.5% for you to pay by credit card, but shhhh! No one tells you and there is nothing conspicuous to let you know before you order. Service has always been mid-range, nothing to shout about. Really disappointed in the food lately; would love for them to address that and stop the unnecessary surcharge. read more

So happy to have discovered this place! Pizza is great--the crust is excellent. Probably the best pizza we have had in Idaho. Lots of other choices for non-pizza eaters, also. Another silly point is that the light fixtures in this place have fantastic design if you pay attention to that sort of thing. read more

Normally when I go in here, and Tim is around, the service is Great! Yesterday I went in with my family, [6 of us] after telling them how great it was, and there was only 1 other customer in the entire place, and our service was terrible! The entire staff was standing by the pizza oven grab assing each other, it took forever for someone to come get our drink order, our waitress was clueless about the menu and drinks available, she brought out half of our order and said the other half was ready, then went in and resumed grab assing and forgot about us completely, then we reminded her and she brought out part of the rest of our order, then it took 2 more reminders to get our spinach and artichoke bread bowl, by the time we got it it was cold and soggy! Definitely the worst service I have ever seen there! Hopefully Tim knocks some heads and whips his waitresses into shape before they do irreparable damage to his customer base. read more

I like Slice. I really do. I have eaten there many times, spending lots of money (especially at the bar). Hip place. Fun place. But I had an experience tonight that kinda made me mad. Came in with my friend for dinner before the theater. Opened the menu and was immediately struck by a new addition -- a meatball sandwich! Oh glory be to god! My favorite! My beloved sandwich arrived with a fresh and inviting salad of baby greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers. So far so good. Took one bite of the sandwich and the incredible hot spiciness hit me like an entire bottle of crushed red pepper. I tried another bite (thinking I was just me) and once again, it was overwhelming. Called the waiter over (a very efficient, friendly and TALL person) and explained my situation. He took my plate back. He returned with this explanation. "The kitchen says the meatballs are pork and mild Italian sausage. The sauce is our house marinara. They don't know what could be spicy." So I says "mild Italian sausage isn't spicy. And I've had your marinara sauce and it isn't spicy. There has to be something else on the sandwich." So he says, "Well, that's what they told me." THE KITCHEN LIED TO YOU. THERE IS SOMETHING HOT IN THAT SANDWICH WHICH IS NOT PLEASANT AND SHOULDN'T BE THERE." Thank you for listening. read more

I wanted to like Slice more than this rating suggests because they do everything that I like in a pizza place. Don't get me wrong,... the pizza is great here. The dough is hand made and tossed Sicilian style. The sauce and cheese are yummy. All in all, it's a great pizza. The side salad was great too. I just thought that the price was a bit high for pizza. It was $15 for a 14" pizza (that's a medium in most places). They only have one size, so when you order a pie, that's what you'll get. If you've been to New York, you know that "a pie" is generally around 18". There are no sizes; just a slice or a pie. So, I expected Slice to bring it New York big. That was my only hold up on Slice. Since there are very few traditional New York pizzerias in Twin Falls, Slice will continue to be the "go to" spot for good pizza. Perhaps, they could introduce some Happy Hour discounts. That would definitely keep me coming back for more. read more

My husband and I had lunch there today. And yes I am giving them 5 stars for salad! Great ambience, the server was pleasant and overall the salads were great. Just the right amount of everything! Great gluten-free pizza. I know just by looking at my husband's bubbly, crispy-chewy hand-tossed, gluten-ful pizza that it tasted better than mine. But it's ok, I'm a big girl and i'll settle for a gluten-free crust if it means i won't be sick later. But oh the toppings! I ordered something with prosciutto and melty mascarpone, and another with apples. gorgonzola, and arugula... So good! Really "gourmet" for TF. Only gave four stars because the servers seem a little distracted, like they would rather be somewhere else and the wine list is not great. read more

We have only been here once but I took a chance and gave it five stars straight off. Reasons being the atmosphere was great, the service was flawless, and the pizza was absolutely wonderful. Not like anything we have here in Twin Falls. Normally I would wait to dish out five stars until at least the second go around, but after thinking about it I had nothing to justify only four stars on our first visit. Our server was attentive, but not overly so. The food came in a reasonable amount if time, and when we asked for suggestions we were not led wrong. It's not like most pizza here in town where you eat two gooey slices and you're full; two pizzas fed our family of three (two adults and a five year old) and we only took three pieces home (we did not do any appetizers). And if you are wondering the Pear and Gorgonzola pizza was absolutely wonderful. My husband even liked it and he is not a huge bleu cheese fan; I love bleu cheese and was not disappointed. Have been there on several occasions. Tonight we ordered a pizza with several toppings including fresh mozzarella cheese. The pizza came out and there was way too much cheese and the crust was not done, mushy in the middle and barely cooked at the crust. Its seems to be hit or miss on the pizza, either its not cooked all the way or its just ok. I will admit the salads and pasta are very good, they just need to pay more attention to how they cook the pizza. read more

Pizza was good but there was no "WOW" factor for me to come back and spend that kind of money for it. If a friend said "Let's go to Slice, I will buy." I would for sure go. But if I am going to buy pizza for myself, I will go somewhere else. read more
