Good experience our first stop at Slice of Austin! Ambiance is lacking, it's really a drive through, carry out place, and we wanted to eat on the spot! The description of the place would be better served to ID it as a drive through, carry out spot. That said, there are a couple of picnic tables there, and we hung out after the rain stopped. Staff was great, friendly, helpful, good service at "the table" checked on us couple of times the makes sure we were good. Super disappointed they were out of wings on our visit, we love our wings as a starter. The Caesar salad was good, mostly lettuce and shaved parm cheese... the dressing was great, the croutons were out of a box.... The pizza (supreme) was stellar, delicious... piping hot, plenty of toppings too! The crust was awesome NY/Italian-style, huge, flat chewy dough, thin and nice crust, a few burnt edges to make it real! A good meal, great pizza ... we like our pizza hot on the spot, not real carry out folks! But, that's just us! Sign in the window says beer and wine coming soon! This is righteous pizza, pricey but worth the money. We'd go back... and, we will! Stay tuned!

Got 2 slices and reviews are right- really good crust and fresh toppings

Ok so I kinda stumbled upon this small pizza place as I was in the area. And I nearly passed on them but was intrigued by all the great reviews. Well I'm so glad I ended up checking them out because their pizza was pretty darn good, and their homemade ranch - omg it's phenomenal. I stopped by here and had a craving for some pizza. Read the reviews and noticed they served slices which was appealing as I didn't have to commit to a whole pizza and could try a couple of slices for my first visit. I think Oscar helped me out - he had slices of supreme, pepperoni, and cheese slices in the showcase. I always have to get pepperoni, but Oscar also recommended the Supreme saying the veggies are fresh and also how the pizza remains crispy and is not soggy because of the way they cook it. Ok - you had me at crispy and process. So the crust is not too thick, not too thin, and it's crispy some some chewy and it tastes pretty darn good. I can't explain it - but it's seasoned just right, not bland, not too dry, and has good flavor but nothing over the top if that makes sense. And the quality was very good because it tasted great and you don't want to toss it out, you want to eat the crust. Sorry but you can deal with a few extra carbs - it's worth it. Oscar was right about the Supreme pizza. The veggies tasted really good and fresh, and the pizza was not soggy. I like Supreme pizza, but it's not my go-to, however the Supreme pizza here has changed my view as it was the most flavorful I've had. So I was really happy after taking a few bites of both pizzas. I don't remember if I asked Oscar for some ranch or if he told me that their ranch was really good - but he gave me some and I was like - wow!! Now that's some excellent ranch dressing! So I asked if they made it in-house - of course! You could (and would) literally drink it with a straw. It's got that wow-factor for me. Kinda like how Hidden Valley Ranch use to be way back in the day - when it was really good - the ranch here is even better than that. I mean if you're having difficulties getting your kids to eat their veggies, having this for dipping - I bet they'd eat the whole garden. It was so good I asked if I could buy some additional cups to take home with me. I have to make my way back to Slice of Austin - hopefully this week. I have been craving their pizza. I greatly appreciated Oscar's guidance and insight, he was very nice and professional and his recommendations were spot-on. I was really impressed with this place, it was quality good and a refreshing pizza experience. I'm going to see if they can sell me a 2-liter of ranch dressing with a big long straw. LOL!

Supreme Pizza

Very good local Pizza place in the Lakeway, Four points area. Thin slice style with very generous cheese and an array of toppings. The sauce is very good. The supreme pizza was our favorite. A little bit of everything and delicious. Service was fast. Highly recommend this place for takeout.

We got pizza for my son's birthday from slice of Austin, we had the supreme, chicken bbq and veggie and all of them were good We specifically liked the veggie pizza a lot. We asked zucchini to be replaced by jalapeno and they obliged and not every pizza joint doesn't do that. Recommend.

Erin Y.

Absolutely loved the pizza! We did a create your own pizza - my husband and I think it's one of the best pizza's we've ever had. Everything tasted fresh, seasoned well and the crust was chewy but cooked perfectly; it went so well with their ranch dripping sauce too. Would 100% recommend and be coming back. This will be our go-to pizza spot!

This was so good, I'm not really a pizza person and honestly only came because of the great reviews. Well, I was wrong, this is the best pizza I've ever had I'm usually keto, so I normally don't eat the crust edge. But this time, I actually ate the crust first before getting to the toppings. It's thin, crunchy, and has such a great texture and flavor. I finished the slice right away and forgot to take a picture. I also ordered the Garlic Knots. They come four to an order, but I wasn't sure I wanted that many. Kat told me I could order just one, which was really nice. Unfortunately, this one wasn't my favorite, a little too doughy for me. And then there was the Tiramisu. Wow! It's so good, not overly sweet like other tiramisu and the texture is light, fluffy, and smooth. They were busy during my visit, but the service was still great. Kat was friendly and made my first visit a really enjoyable one. Definitely coming back if I visit Austin again

A round of drinks was ordered and the frozen marg took about 20 minutes to appear. When we mentioned it was missing we were told "it's so busy"....there were 6 other people in the restaurant. This type of nonsense continued for the rest of our time at Toss and it will be our last. As a former service industry worker I tend to yield to the side of the worker but this was simply terrible. There's not much else to say other than you can't expect people to come back to a business after getting treated this way. I'd rather toss a Totinos in the oven than go back to Toss...

So after all eventful volleyball game at the Moody, my handsome guy and I treked over to Home Slice. The parking situation was madness, but we somehow lucked out and snagged a good one. And although, it seemed like it might be crazy inside, we were seated immediately. Maddie was our server and she was incredible. She was helpful, took our order, took our supplemental order, brought us a second side of ranch when a fly decided to nose dive into ours, and checked on us just enough. The salad was spectacular, as usual. There's just never enough. Solution: order two. The garlic knots were a little low on garlic, but tasty nonetheless. Combined with the marinara sauce, just delicious! I got a slice of the white pie with spinach which is olive oil, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic, and spinach. The crust was crunchy in all the right places and the toppings were tasty. I'm hungry just thinking about it again. This Austin staple is always a win for me.

I got the pizza lunch special which included a side salad, personal pizza and's drink all for $17.95! Talk about a deal! Cesar side salad was simple and's could have used a bit more cheese....and the pizza was good. Only downside was the pepperoni left a lot of grease which made the crust a bit soft. Not sure how to fix that but the crust that wasn't soft was delicious. So having a crisp crust would make it better. They take care of dishes once finished and the restroom was clean. The restaurant is open, good seating, the display of pizza in the case is very appealing and appetizing. Its decor is well done. The pizza has fresh ingredients and tastes great. Crust is perfect. The lasagna was good but I would rather stick with the pizza. Just my taste. I did have the cannolis and compliments to them- they were authentic. Creamy, crispy shell, and the pistachio and chocolate chips were very good. My favorite. I suppose my only complaint was the pizza and lasagna were a little cool. It should have been a little warmer. The other issue which I hope they take note and move right away is the trash for plates and silverware. It is directly next to the fresh silverware and takeout boxes. That caught my attention and it's not a good place for the trash. Definitely plan to come back, it is worth coming and trying all the food items they have. As an unapologetic East Coast pizza snob, I usually approach Texas pizza with a massive amount of…read moreskepticism. I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.
