Been taking the family to Tony C's out in the Hill Country Galleria for a dozen+ years now and it's become our go-to spot for Pizza and real Italian dining. The food here is amazing!! Pizza is my favorite and it's consistently delicious. Their Italian specials are always on point and freshly made. Our family especially loves going on Tuesday for 2-for-1 pizza specials! My wife loves the 50% off wine days and their daily happy hour is right up our alley! Their sauce is deliciously fresh that we've been ordering it to-go! The staff is always fantastic. 1/5 -- COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. We should have left the moment they seated us upstairs. At 7:00 p.m., it was 100 degrees outside in Austin. When we finally walked out of the restaurant, IT FELT COOLER OUTSIDE THAN IT DID IN THE UPSTAIRS DINING ROOM. That is not an exaggeration. It was like eating in a sauna. Who wants to sit and eat a meal in a sauna? We were drenched in sweat. I am extremely cold-natured -- I am normally the person who is freezing in restaurants -- and I was soaked. It became so unbearably hot that we couldn't even finish our meal. We ate what we could, packed up the rest, paid our bill, and left. There appears to be ONE table upstairs near the AC where the temperature is tolerable. The rest of the upstairs dining area was unbelievably hot. There were no auxiliary AC units and not even a fan in the area where we were seated. What made me especially angry was seeing babies and small children being seated up there. One infant in a carrier near us had a very red face from the heat. We saw other small children with red faces as well. If grown adults are drenched in sweat simply sitting at a table, that is not an appropriate environment for babies, children, senior citizens, or anyone particularly vulnerable to excessive heat. When we finally got downstairs, it became even more frustrating. Downstairs was pleasant, and I saw an auxiliary AC unit running. So clearly supplemental cooling was available and being used elsewhere in the restaurant. As we were leaving, I specifically told the hostess, "You should not be seating ANYONE upstairs, especially babies." To be clear, the hostess was polite. She wasn't rude or argumentative. But she also seemed completely unsurprised by what I was telling her. Her response was essentially, "We're sorry, it's just the way it is." That response made the situation even more unacceptable to me. If this is "just the way it is," then the restaurant KNOWS how hot it gets upstairs. Yet NO ONE WARNED US. Nobody told us before taking us upstairs, "It's extremely hot up there." Nobody gave us the option of waiting for a downstairs table. We were simply seated in an area that was so hot we ultimately couldn't tolerate staying long enough to finish our food. There was even a young woman standing behind the hostess holding a fan. I told her she should take that fan upstairs for the baby. After all of this, there was no discount or adjustment to our bill. We paid for a meal we couldn't even stay and finish because the dining room was unbearably hot. This is Texas. Of course restaurants have to deal with extreme heat. But if you KNOW an area of your restaurant cannot be adequately cooled, you don't shrug your shoulders and continue seating people there. CLOSE THE UPSTAIRS. Or properly cool it. At the absolute minimum, WARN CUSTOMERS BEFORE TAKING THEM UP THERE and allow them to decide whether they want to sit there. It was like sitting in a sauna trying to eat dinner. We were soaked in sweat. At 7:00 p.m., we walked outside into 100-degree weather and the outside air felt COOLER. That is absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable. The pizza was great...hot and fresh. Loved the crust and the sauce. I had the Caesar salad and my husband had the house salad. Both were excellent. On top of it all the service and ambience were exceptional. Bella wasn't even our server but she kept coming by to check on us. My husband was initially served the wrong item. Bella made it right without hesitation. I watched her as she seated and waited on others too. She was very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy what she was doing. I met up with a co-worker here after work. I've never been, but she has. I don't drink wine, or beer. And this is not a full bar. My drink wasn't that good. I think it was prosecco, which isn't my drink of choice. I ordered zucchini spears. They were fried, and a little heavy. They came with 2 types of sauces. Ranch and ketchup. Zucchini didn't really have any flavor. Service was fine. We sat at the bar. Once she made my drink she didn't really come back around. Just as we were wrapping up our appetizers, the place got busy. We stopped by Tony C's for dinner before a movie. We ordered a slice of Margherita pizza and the fettuccine Alfredo pasta. The pasta was okay--nothing standout but decent. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the pizza at all. That said, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice, which made the overall experience more pleasant. I probably wouldn't come back just for the food, but if I'm catching a movie nearby and need a quick bite, I might grab the pasta again. read more

Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the high school-aged girls at the front desk. Every time I've come in to pick up an order, the experience has been unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. I would order from here much more often if the pickup process were more pleasant. One of the best local pizza spots around! I'm a local in Bee Cave and we love this place! The restaurant is small and quant but they are able to seat a lot of guests (downstairs seating, upstairs seating, large patio). The smell of fresh pizza dough as you walk in is awesome! Staff are super nice, very attentive and they make a great effort for your experience to be a good one. One of our recent visits, we tried the Buffalo mozzarella over marinara sauce and the meatball sandwich. They hit a home run on both! The pizza is for sure on point! We were looking for a place with a decent happy hour in bee cave and Yelp suggested Tony C's. We reached there at 5.50 and the happy hour gets over at 6 PM but the server was super helpful and help put in the order for beers and apps really quickly. btw it is a nice happy hour, $2 off on beers, $3 off on apps. The ambience in the place is nice but beware that on cold evenings, almost all tables get a draft of air every time someone comes in. It might be a good idea to sit upstairs but they only have one server in the area. The beers were fresh and nice. Some people might say, draft beer is the same everywhere, but IMHO that's not true. The Allstad Heff had a distinct fragrance that made it amazing in my books, the electric jellyfish was nice too. The garlic fries were nice but too oily and the same was true for the buffalo mozzarella (which had no buffalo flavor I could taste). While this is the perfect spot for a quick bite before and after the movies, I'm only giving 3 stars because of the Value$ for what you get. Prices are higher than I would normally pay for Italian meals and especially in the portions. Most of the food was delicious but servings were small and prices were high. Kids plates- $8 for a very small plate of spaghetti or buttered noodles. Burrata Caprese- do not recommend at all. $16 for basically a plate of tomatoes. It needed more basil and cheese with bread to be worth it. Meatballs- ok these were really good but 3 medium size meatballs for $15 - won't do that again Stromboli - nothing to phone home about. This is the pizza place to go to for a quick tasty meal while shopping at the Galleria or going to the movie theatre. I've been here a few times and it's consistently delicious. I stopped before a movie to get a small pizza and a beer. So I sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive, quick and friendly. I was literally in there for 20 minutes from ordering to check. The margharita pizza was really good. A thin crust but hand tossed. The bread dough was fresh and full of flavor. My only complaint was the tomatoes weren't cut completely in pieces. So when I'd take a bite, all the tomatoes would be all connected from the skin. It could use more basil but otherwise it was exactly what I was craving. They also have Guinness in a bottle that didn't quite fill a pint glass. I didn't see her pour it but it had a big head on it when she served it. The prices are reasonable and perfect for a casual dining experience. There's a covered patio or eat inside. There's an upstairs with more tables as well. It's a lively atmosphere and a lot of families were there with children. The menu has a lot of choices of various Italian dishes, side dishes and other tasty treats. You can also order by the slice and take away right at the front. Plenty of free parking either street or in the parking garage. read more

Maybe it was an off day? Service was very slow. 35 minutes to get lunch served and it wasn't busy. GM is incredibly nice but our food lacked flavor. Grilled chicken salad came with flavorless chicken and mostly connecting parts that were tough and unappetizing. Chicken piccata- was excited to see this but the chicken also had ZERO seasoning. Tough, flavorless chicken and the sauce lacked any zest. Hopefully it was just an off day but that's $40 I regret spending since the piccata I make at home is tender and bursting with citrusy, garlicky flavor. Sadly every single place in the area seems to have slipped in quality, taste and service while prices have increased. Makes me sad. read more

After waiting several minutes while she replied to snapchats, I knew the young woman working the window was going to ring me up incorrectly.. of course she did, but it wouldn't have been a big deal if I wasn't made to feel like a nuisance. "It's just $3" when incorrectly charged for an item. Next time, I'd try just fixing the mistake and apologizing. I didn't even want to eat there so I walked around the corner to the tables by cafe blue. I can't speak for the cleanliness or atmosphere since since I ordered to-go, apparently that's hit or miss. We ordered Pepperoni and Sausage pizza's and as a bonus we had the savory Truffle Shuffle. And, we were offered a free dessert as first time customers! The band enjoyed the pizza and dessert! If you haven't been here you are missing out. The ambiance, location, and the staff are all incredible!! Special shoutout to Josh, the kitchen manager, who made us feel like family. We love Tony C's. It's one of our regular, reliable places in Bee Cave. It's perfect for before or after a movie since it's located right out in front of the theater. Be aware that there can be a significant wait for a table on a Fri or Sat night at prime dining time. Our favorite pizza is the Carnivore. Order extra crispy. Fantastic spot to sit outside and eat some quality pizza. We showed up with 2 babies around 11:45 on a Saturday during summer. Since we had 2 kids who just went swimming, we didn't want to sit inside with all the AC. Luckily, the patio couldn't have been nicer. Even though it was clearly 90+ outside, the constantly running fans combined with the shade provided an incredibly comfortable meal. We ordered a large pizza and ceasar salad which was more than enough for the three of us plus some. The pizza was perfectly crusty and full of taste. I will say, it was a tad on the oily side, but you can probably blame a pizza with sausage and meatballs for some of it. Pro tip, the bread roll that comes with the ceasar salad is amazing! We finally went in and sat down to eat at Tony C's by the movie theater after passing by so many times. I always see people sitting outside eating and wanted to check out the inside. It's bigger than it looks. There is also an upstairs seating area. We sat next to the bar area inside. It was very nice, even sitting close to people. (We met a nice couple.) We had a great experience with an efficient and friendly waiter and delicious food. We tried the fried ravioli appetizer and we both weren't thrilled with it. (We like soft ravioli better.) Took half home. We got the Primo Pizza and enjoyed it. It was very tasty and the crust was very good. It was just the two of us so we ordered the smaller size. (We still ended up taking a couple pieces home.). Not a lot to say but we were NOT disappointed and we will go back soon to try their pasta. read more

What a huge disappointment! This was my second time here, went this time last year for daughters birthday and it was descent, would have given it 3-4 stars and it's in a cool shopping center so I was like yeah, let's go again this year (went yesterday, March 30th 2025) and I will not be back; it has really changed and not for the better! First, I made the reservation for upstairs seating and when we got there, we were informed that on Sunday's they don't seat people upstairs; I was like ok but you could at least put that on the reservation info page, that Sunday's is no upstairs seating....etc but no biggie I guess. Second, we were then seated at a table downstairs and it had a bucket on the floor in between our table and the next one because the ceiling was leaking water; so we got seated next to a stinky bucket of dripping ceiling water, with the occasional drip hitting the table and splatter on us, real nice. Third, the prices are way to expensive for this quality of food, my chicken parm was one normal to I'd say slightly small breast of chicken and the breading was dark brown, like burnt dark brown, not light and flaky but chewy hard burnt crust that was not good. My wife got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and it was nasty, as we often do, we let each other sample our plates and when I took a bite, I wanted to spit it out. The fettuccine sauce tasted like dirty dishwater stink, it was disgusting and this fettuccine plate was $18 for the noodles alone and $8 more for the chicken, so a $26 plate of just disgusting fettuccine, gross. My daughters lasagna was probably the best meal and it was essentially a skillet of globs of cheese with little amount of noodles and hard to find "meat sauce", literally just globs and globs of cheese. I thought this was a authentic higher quality Italian place but (and I don't say this lightly) we would have had better food at the Olive Garden. Like this was bad bad. So after paying out $143 for dinner for low quality food while sitting next to a leaking ceiling dripping on us while a completely open and available upstairs area could have been used; no thanks, I'm out. I would avoid this place, it seems to be going downhill quickly. read more

I've eaten at Tony C's, but never had their pizza until this week. A friend had ordered several different kinds of Tony' C's pizzas, including the pesto and the chicken Parmesan pizzas. My favorite was the chicken Parmesan however, the pesto was also very good. The crust was good, rather a thin crust, which I like.
