So good. Everything we had was yummy, sour dough with oil, spaghetti, trio, chicken parm. How I wish this place was closer to my house!

We love Carmella's and are so thankful that we have an awesome Italian restaurant so close to our hood! Their cocktails, bread, mozzarella sticks, salad, lasagna, fish, Alfredo.... Everything is delicious! I highly recommend and their service is great

At least it's better than Mandola's (not that that's saying much). Mediocre food, but good service.

Normally a good review but their weak management to keep allowing children to sit at the bar is out of bounds.

I'm awarding 5 stars for our two recent visits. But, there's a point I'd like to make. Yes, this is…read morea dining destination and prices are commensurate with the experience. For most pasta dishes, I'd hit Mandola's in Austin. Save about $10 an entree and some gas money. A few weeks ago I didn't want to venture too far off the ranch. Wife and I ended up at Lisina on Saturday. Calamari to start was crisp and not chewy. Caesar salad followed and was a nice example of the dish. Lisina is also a little skimpy on offering bread refills. We finished with drinks and the panna cotta. Just over $100 for this experience. WELL, the next day I needed to take mom out for her anniversary. Dad has long passed but I always try to do something special. Sunday highlights forthcoming. This time with mom and Rooster along we started with the carpaccio. The presentation really wowed because it looks like red plate until you realize all that color is shaved tenderloin. White plate underneath! The greens, parmesan, and aioli was one of the best I've had. Mom went for the gnocchi; Rooster goes for the Mezzaluna ravioli. This is now Rooster's fave restaurant. I went back to the appetizers section and selected the crab cake. Zero complaints on these dishes. Don't forget mom's wine. Gelato and cake to finish the meal. I think I've dined here once since my 2009 review. Yup, steak pics still accounted for on Yelp. Trattoria Lisina is still going strong in Driftwood. Expect $$$$, this meal was almost $300. Good food ain't cheap folks.

Food was excellent, extremely fresh ingredients and you can tell their pasta is made from scratch. Price - $10-15 for a plate of noodles without any protein and veggies. So it can easily add up to make your plate an extra $5-$10 if you add anything to it. 3. Ambiance - this is a bar and restaurant setting. Great for hang outs with friends and family. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - I had their CARBONARA PASTA and CHICKEN ARROSTO. With a side of salad and Garlic bread. Everything was good and tasty. The noodles were fresh, thick, and different. However, it was super salty. Did I pick the wrong sauce perhaps or was the chef a bit heavy handed on the salt? 5. Cleanliness - Dining area was outdoors in the back on a cold day. Good thing they had a heating lamp near by. They managed their tables well. No dirty plates lingering around. Restrooms were not bad either. Small, but clean. SUMMARY It's great that they make fresh noodles, but $20+ for a plate of noodles is a bit much. Overly paying for salty food, I rather go to a chain Italian restaurant. Not worth the hype in my opinion.

Responses were a bit slow initially, but with a few follow-ups she was helpful and did a good job answering my questions and clarifying details. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great choice for a festive gathering. Our reservation was in the evening in mid-December, so we did not get to experience the outdoor views, which I imagine are beautiful. That said, the indoor dining experience was still very pleasant. Our waitress was wonderful. She was accommodating, communicative, and professional throughout the evening. The food was tasty and well presented, and overall the group seemed happy with their selections. I ordered the bolognese. It was not the best I have had, but it also did not feel like a standout dish on the menu. I would be open to trying other options next time. Overall, we had a positive experience and would return. We are looking forward to coming back.

The worst dining experience in my whole entire life! Beware…read morewith their outdoor dining area!! They have this ceiling fans open that I don't know what's the reason behind opening it when the weather is so cold. And who puts string lights close to a ceiling fan??? It was a nightmare for me and my family members.. the ceiling fan and all the outdoor dining is a big safety concern! The ceiling fan got broken after it hit the string lights and one of the propellers broke and suddenly flew to my face, luckily I saw it and just turned around but still hit my neck to shoulder area. It was a huge, thick fan propeller and I don't think people will understand this if you didn't experience or saw it in person. Everybody was in shock and panicky because no one is turning off that ceiling fan even if it was still broken and hit ME on my neck! My family had to shout a few times just so everyone is aware to turn off the ceiling fan! Compensated all of our food but it will but our life will never be the same again.. the trauma you this restaurant caused us! And I think the staff wasn't really fully trained to execute an emergency because they don't even know what to do and at the end they just offered me free wine and the calling card of who ever we need to talk incase we have future claims with them. Other than that, one of the staff members were a little bit nosy and staring at us and giving us that annoying look! And that's unacceptable and inappropriate. To conclude this, someone needs to be liable.. definitely not coming back to any restaurants named after this company in future. Luckily, the food and server was good but still not a solution to a horrible accident that could have been prevented by the staff or maintenance. Safety of customers is the top priority but they have ZERO of that yesterday! Thank God for the EMT and for my family who took care of me.

They also have this huge glass wine room with a giant ladder that looked really impressive. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive throughout the meal, took time to explain how different dishes were prepared, gave helpful recommendations, and paced everything out really well for the table. The portions here are massive compared to a lot of upscale spots, so it actually felt like a solid value for the quality and amount of food. We shared a few pastas, steak, sides, cocktails, and desserts and left completely stuffed. The Hot & Crispy Country Italian Bread was nice and garlicky. The Coal Roasted Sweet Potatoes were buttery and rich with mascarpone, the Wood Grilled Broccolini had a nice little kick to it. The steak, a 20 oz center cut ribeye was incredibly tender, flavorful, and came pre sliced which made it easy to share. My favorite dish of the night was easily the Tagliolini with Fresh Blue Crab. Rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. We also had the Spaghettini alle Vongole with clams, which was lighter but still really good. For drinks, I had the Heat of Passion cocktail with mezcal and loved it, and we also tried one of their seasonal strawberry cocktails that was refreshing and balanced with herbs. Dessert was a strong finish. The Hot Apple Crostata with salted caramel gelato was incredible. It had a buttery crust, not overly sweet, that went perfect with the gelato. The chocolate cake was good but a little too rich for me personally.
