Cheese Slice
Jasmin P.

Service was good and the restaurant was clean, with a casual atmosphere and both indoor and outdoor seating. There were 3 TVs inside, all showing different college football games, which was nice. We've had Slice House at a different location before, and this time we wanted to try their cheese slice. It was good with awesome flavor, but it was a little tough and hard to chew. The cheese was also too crispy on some parts of the slice. I assume this was because it was reheated, or maybe it was already well done from the first cook and got a little too crispy/tough when reheated. Would have it again, though if I was near a location and looking for a quick bite. I also enjoyed the hot Calabrian oil as it had good a calabrian flavor.

Great pizza and the service was awesome. I will definitely be coming back for more pizza. The place is also clean and very nicely organized.

I have tried their Simi Valley location but glad this location opened up closer to me. I have been here over a dozen times and tried most of their pizzas. I prefer their Detroit style pizzas and my favorites are the Sweet Gino and the Hawaiian Hit Man which has entire slices of pineapple on them instead of little pineapple chunks. The reason for the 4 stars is that I found some of their pizzas are too salty for me. I found myself taking off a lot of pepperoni toppings because it was too salty. The service is great, location is great with plenty of parking and they have great lunch specials. Definitely check them out.

I had seen this place before but never bothered to come in until today. The service was a breeze, easy to order, and great tasting food. I was very amazed of the meatball being so flavorful, and not dry. I must say, to my surprise, I really enjoyed the freshness of the food - the pizza selection and portion size of the slice, the meatball, and Caesar salad. It's now on my favorite location to visit in the future. I did see that their POS (point of sale terminal) is from Toast in which you could sign up

We got the picante pizza and it really lived up to its name! It was SPICY. The Serranos/ jalapeños on the pizza as a topping were really spicy. Each slice of pizza at this spot range from $6 to $9 is pretty decent size. I think its really up to the person to decide whether they'd personally spend that much on a slice of pizza. The pizza however is very fresh & a slice can be pretty filling. There is plenty of space inside for eating and outdoors to the this spot there are lounging chairs. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

Finally was able to swing by this newest Slice House location in Porter Ranch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the single slice pizzas were served up hot and tasty. I opted for the Hot Honey slice for this lunch stop. It was reheated in the oven quickly and tasted delicious. Great combination of pepperoni, sausage and hot honey drizzle for a sweetness to counter the small spice of the meat ingredients. Overall, a small layout compared to other locations in the area (Santa Clarita), but nice for a quick visit or lunch. Plenty of tables, bar seating and two flat screen TVs playing sports. Overall, a solid team and product at this location.

Awesome pizza house with a wide array of pizza combinations. Their pizza is actually a bit different from your typical pie -- each slice is huge and deep (at least the ones I tried). Kind of similar to Chicago pizzas, I guess. Must try the Tony Jack. I think their pizzas have more flavors than you would think, probably because of the different sauces. I'd definitely come back to try other combos.

I love seeing Slice House opening all around the LA area. If you don't know I am a fan of Tony Gemignani's pizza and have visited different Slice House locations, with Burbank being my main. The pizza is great, they have different slice of the day, stop by and support. I am glad there is a location closer to my sis' place. Now I have an additional stop. lol The hype is real and for those that wanted to wait, ya'll could have went to Thousand Oaks or Simi Valley location. Parking: large private lot VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

Waited a bit for the hype to die down to finally check out this place. Loving the various pizza options. I am a huge Detroit style pizza fan. At first I was thrown off by a slice being $7.75 but that thing was filling. Totally enough for a meal on its own. They also have a lunch combo that is $11.50 and you get a slice, small salad and drink. It's extra for ny style ($1) or Detroit ($2). It's nice inside with seating and TVs and also seating outside. Service was quick and friendly. All in all a welcome addition to this plaza. Cons:

The Slice House is finally open!! Hooray! Been waiting for so long for this location. Became a fan of Slice House from their other locations and it has quickly become one of my favorite pizza places. Love that you can get thin crust, deep dish, Detroit style and grandma style all at the same place. I normally get a Detroit style or deep dish as well as a thin crust just to mix it up. They have different style of crusts and pizza everyday of the week, but try them all. The pasta here is really good as well, chewy, homemade tasting, recommend it. They have seating inside, but a bit limited based on the space, but they also have a very large back patio to eat at as well. The decor is the same as all the other Slice Houses, brick walls, dark paint, minimal and modern. Cool custom painted pizza boxes on the walls. Alice House is quickly expanding and that is a good thing so more and more people can taste and experience them. Enjoy!

Welcome to the neighborhood, guys! I've tried Slice House in Burbank and Simi Valley and was excited to watch this location open. The inside is beautiful snd clean and the outside patio is great and overlooks a beautiful waterfall feature of the plaza. The pizza here is epic. I tried the Sweet Gino and Angeleno square slice pizzas and got a side of hot honey. Both pizza squares were incredibly delicious, the dough was slightly crispy, crunchy and the meats and other toppings tasted super fresh. I loved the sweet and savory notes in the Angeleno, which came with 2 kinds of meats. Just a great spot with good customer service. Happy that they're here!

I first discovered Slice House when they opened in Thousand Oaks and became a fan, so I was excited to try the Porter Ranch location since a friend who lives out there wanted to try for the first time. I ordered: Grandma Style Sweet Gino - Sweet Tomato Sauce, Sliced & Ovoline Mozzarella, Basil & Sea Salt Gemelli with Pesto Sauce - Fresh Gemelli Pasta, Pesto, Garlic, Sun Bathed Tomatoes, Goat Cheese House Craft Salad - Mixed Greens, Castelvetrano Olives, Red Onions, Gorgonzola, Candied Walnuts, Peppadews, Balsamic Reduction & Extra Virgin Olive Oil Everything had great flavor, but I will say the pizza and especially the pasta was very oily, which is why I'm giving one less star. They have their own back patio, which is really nice on a warm night. The only downside is that it faces a main street, so it can get a bit noisy. Parking at the Porter Ranch location is very easy and free since it's part of a larger outdoor shopping center, which is a big plus. Service was fine and I got my food fairly fast. I'll definitely be back, though I'll probably visit a closer location next time.

XL 20" Hot Honey Pizza

We've been meaning to try Slice House for a while. Glad we finally got to check it out. We ordered a xl size hot honey pizza. The pizza took a normal amount of time to come out, but what we found odd was some people were handed a buzzer and we weren't. After a while, we went inside to ask if it was ready since we had no buzzer. They sort of rudely asked back well where's your receipt. We showed the receipt and then they said our pizza was ready. Sort of an odd interaction, but they brought over our pizza. They give paper plates which are honestly too small for the massive slices (see pic for reference). The pizza itself is very tasty, but I removed a star for weird service vibes. Oh also, they charge $.75 cents for a 2 oz side of ranch which is crazy lol bring your own bottle of ranch and call it a day.

Between us, we ordered the ABC Burger, The Stand Burger, Short Rib Grilled Cheese, and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I asked for a couple of modifications to my Buffalo Chicken Sandwich--no slaw and add blue cheese crumbles--and the cashier was incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate. It did not disappoint! The fire sauce definitely lived up to its name and had my mouth on fire for a minute, but I cooled it off by adding a touch of ranch to each bite. The blue cheese crumbles were the perfect addition, as well. Everyone in our group was happy with their meal, and I really like the casual ordering setup. You order and pay right at the register, which makes it especially convenient when you're meeting a group of friends because there's no worrying about splitting the check at the end. Looks like The Stand has officially been added to the rotation for my "Ladies Who Lunch" group! We'll definitely be back.

I ordered a Double Play salad, a Santa Barbara Char combo with onion rings and a drink made up of two-thirds club soda and one-third dragon fruit, and a sirloin steak sandwich combo with regular fries and the same drink as the first combo. The order looked correct on the screen, but when I checked the bag, the regular fries, club soda, and other drink were all missing. The employee at the drive-through then tried to charge me for the fries and drink, saying the woman hadn't charged me for them. I'm saying this plainly: don't go to this location late on a Friday. The sandwiches looked as if they'd been thrown together by people at the end of their shift. The crew working that night did not demonstrate an understanding of customer service. Whatever is going on with this team, it's affecting how they represent the company. Don't go here. I should have known better. The Habit on Reseda Boulevard is the worst one yet.
