Z Pizza was a great, quick pick. The food came out fast and hit the spot. Salvador was super friendly and easy to deal with. Parking can be a little hectic, but the shopping center is fairly large so it's manageable. The portions run a bit smaller than some spots, but they're packed with flavor. We ordered the pepperoni, four cheese, and wings everything was delicious.

Quick and friendly service, great options for pizza, salads, sandwiches, wings, pasta. We opted for a build your own pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, tomato and pineapple along with the pollo Latino sandwich. Everything was delicious and hot and ready to go within 10 mins. Great local spot for pizza lovers!

Vast parking for this place. I've had better pizza. In my opinion they pack on too much cheese on their pizza. I bought two slices of pepperoni. Sauce is flavorful, pepperoni was just right. I actually like their crust. Again, just way too much cheese. The establishment probably only seats about 15-20 people. Tables are set up for small groups 3 or less. This place is very clean and sterile. I've looked behind the counters and they're very, very clean. Including the ovens and surrounding areas. The tables are always very clean as well where you dine. Drinks are sold in a bottle or can. I paid a little over $12 for two slices and can of Pepsi. I'd definitely recommend them if you're trying to get your pizza fix.

The store was very clean and the staff members were very pleasant. My pizza was good. I got 2 slices and the peperoni was better than I expected... unfortunately, the supreme was hardly even warm.

Walked for a quick bite of pizza and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and nice, airy and light the food is. Service was great, so friendly and accommodating, attentive and just pleasant. Casual ambience, we just sat inside (they do have outside sitting too) great to have a choice. We definitely be coming here again and ordering these delicious food.

My bf used to always eat z pizza at one of their other locations and I've never even heard of it! Luckily we have this location close to us and decided to try it this past Memorial Day. What a great spot to celebrate! We arrived pretty early. This is located in the same shopping center as the Amazon Fresh, right on the corner. It's a huge lot with tons of parking. We were early and they didn't have any pre-slices available yet but we planned on getting a few large sizes anyway. We ended up getting the Napoli (basically margherita pizza) and a roasted garlic chicken. I haven't had a good roasted garlic chicken pizza in a very long time. I used to love the one at CPK many years ago but they haven't been good as of late. The older worker (maybe owner) let us know that it would be ready in about 15 minutes so we hit up the boba shop next door and came back. As soon as it was ready, we took it home to enjoy. I was already AMAZED by the way it smelled on the way home in the car. You can smell how fresh the ingredients were. The flavor of the pizzas were incredible. Didn't have much of the Napoli but I devoured the garlic chicken. They came with HUGE garlic cloves and the pizza itself was unbelievably creamy!! It was my perfect pizza and I can't wait to come back. Absolutely delicious and super quick service. Definitely want to try their bbq chicken pizza next time! IG: @ammysalamii

    Crispy pizza ..

The lack of consistency for this location has to be reviewed. We order about twice a month and I'm done. Half the time it's good, 1/4 of the time the order is not complete or correct and the other 1/4 of the time the food is disappointing. Tonight falls in the disappointing column. We ordered a crispy pie with oregano. Oregano was forgotten and if this is what the chef considers crispy, then I'm not sure this person should be making pizza. We also paid for extra ranch dressing - not included. Drivers never have red pepper flakes or parm cheese. I don't feel like calling anymore to get the mistakes addressed or fixed. Back to Vincenzo's it is.

The Vegetarian Pizza is great! Lots of Fresh veggies. The chicken wings are good too. I have Grub Hub deliver often. recommend!

I paid $27 for a small margarita cheese pizza with 2 sides of ranch via DoorDash and the business placed the ranch containers inside the tiny box right on top of the pizza. This was just lazy. People deserve better quality.

I absolutely loved the pizza. First time at this location but definitely won't stop coming here. The lady behind the counter was very polite. She seemed a little overwhelmed when she was working alone. The cook had to step in and do a delivery. I'm sure they are hiring so hit them up. You might even get a slice of pizza for lunch if you work there. I don't know... Large $25+ but the taste was out of this world.

    Large Cheese Pizza

First time trying ZPizza for the traditional Sunday night pizza night. I can confidently say it was not awful, but not exactly the pizza fantasy I'd hoped for. You can tell a lot about a pizza when you first open the box...before you even taste it, the look gives you clues about their attention to detail. So glance at the photo of the large cheese pie...on the one hand the cheese looked perfectly cooked (so many places send out barely melted mozzarella pies) and there was a generous amount of their robust sauce. (as is my preference...so many pizzerias barely put any sauce on their pies.) But what's with the weird and uneven amounts of space between the edges of the pizza and the beginning of the sauce and cheese? Had a pre-schooler been assigned the assembly of my pizza? I mean I like pizza crust...but I especially like it when it's topped with the things that make it a pizza. The sauce and cheese tasted good. I'd eat that again. The crust itself was not great...cardboard-y and not the chewy crispy crust you really want out of a NY style pie. It did have a sort of buttery flavor going on which was interesting, and what you want with a Chicago style pizza, but this was sort of like buttery saltines. No. My wife had the Brooklyn Vegan...She thought they did as good as they can with what must have been the standard gluten free crust that shops use when they just want to have a gluten free offering, but don't really care so much about whether it's good. So again crust bad, toppings good. Thanks to Z Pizza for at least offering the vegan and for at least having the gluten free option. But it wasn't great.

I ordered the chicken strips with fries, while my partner ordered a two-piece chicken dinner with macaroni salad and spicy rice. Although we had to wait a little while for the food, it arrived hot. We both agreed that it was some of the best fast-food fried chicken we had ever eaten. The chicken was moist and the batter was crispy. My fries were good, and my partner's macaroni salad and spicy rice were both flavorful. We especially loved the biscuit. I also couldn't help noticing that although the dining room feels like something of a relic, it is very well maintained. There were no dirty tables and no trash on the floor. I was genuinely shocked when the cashier came out to ask how everything was and whether we needed anything else. Most fast-food chains seem determined to eliminate as much human interaction as possible. Pioneer Chicken was a refreshing reminder that fast food can still be friendly, clean and satisfying. Pioneer Chicken is a winner in my book!

I highly recommend this chain location and can vouch for the food and service!!! Is the hype warranted? an astounding YES! I looked into the secret menu and got to try the Mario Fries, Lou's Chicken Sandwich, Quarter Chicken Breast with all their sauces, and Banana Pudding! The staff was lovely and I met Matt, the manager. I was greeted with an excited and hyped staff. They were kind and welcoming. Food came pippin' hot and the first bite of the quarter chicken breast was everything- juicy, smoky, spicy, and filled with seasoning! I heard comparisons between this chain and others and finally understood the difference: the chicken is at the forefront along with different layers of flavor that are in the sandwich! Think of Dave's Hot Chicken but meatier , juicier, and much flavorful. Everything is elevated with subtle sophistication- the slaw, all the sauces, and breading. It seemed all curated individually for your meal. For comparison, it is like getting a pastry at your local bakery vs. at a patisserie in Paris, FR. It's the same dessert but one is much better, especially if you pay attention to the subtleties. If you want to taste Howling Ray's in one dish, this would be it! The other dishes were also delightful, the Lou's sandwich had waffles as the buns with powdered sugar and syrup on top; imagine smoky, savory, with fulfilling sweetness. The banana pudding was also wonderful; not to sweet but subtle flavors with high quality ingredients. The Mario's fries are the ultimate chicken loaded fries and would have you full and fulfilled. Everything was of great. You are paying for quality and you will not regret it, especially if you like flavors and spicy. There is a reason that there is a line even before this restaurant opens. Not only would I recommend this place, I recommend bringing a crew so you can share the experience together. I am now a fan and I will be back and will bringing others with me.

In a not very obvious area of DTLA, next to Urth Cafe but no other restaurants. We didn't have reservations so we had the option of sitting at the bar or following the waitress to a back room area instead of the front room that is visible to everyone. My son is a minor, so to the back we went! Seriously, the closer we got to the back room the more I felt I had been cast in "The Chef." Scary! Lol! The back room is black. Blackout black! Black tablecloths, walls, chairs, dark, low light. Very luxurious and open space. Which - because it wasn't full at the time - felt a bit like being in the film, The Menu." A bit too upscale and empty to feel comfortable. More guests arrived later, a large table, so that was more comforting. The food: Recommended *Kara Kara Tamales: braised oxtail with a peanut butter sauce. Wow! The taste was wonderful! Hard to explain but Filipino/African food meets Latin food. It was on the "shared plate" menu, which to me means it will be a lot. But the 2 tamales were not very big. Still, they were so rich that the 2 really were sufficient to share. Quite filling. I couldn't get enough of the sauce! *Crab fried rice: Very tasty and generous portion. Plenty share! Not recommended: The street eats menu. Now, this is what pulled us in - the sights and smells of the food being grilled outside the restaurant. Most of which was on this meme. Like a tasting menu. But for price to portion ratio, it simply isn't worth it. I ordered the skirt steak. 4 oz, cut in half. Cooked down to what looked like .5 oz! Each on a toothpick sitting in a paper plate (or maybe it was cupcake holder?) IDK. I just know it wasn't a good presentation and the taste wasn't memorable. Regular. More grill smell than taste. Not at all worth $8. Service: Really nice. And mostly good. Though they did fail short by (1) Using only small appetizer size plates and (2) Not bringing a fresh plate to eat the crab fried rice on after the peanut butter sauce laced tamale appetizer was eaten. The server brought the fried rice, but didn't bother to give us fresh plates (nor silverware). My son was mortified when I grabbed a plate from one of the empty tables! (Teenager energy on full effect). But after initial attentive service, the variety of different servers whizzing by didn't stop to ask if we needed anything. And I sat waiting at least 8 minutes staring at the rice. I assured my young man that the servers would be fine with me getting another plate to save them from having to. And once I did, he suddenly started eating from my plate of my peanut butter free fried rice. And of course, when a server did attend to us and I let her know, she was glad I took matters into my own hands instead of not eating for 15 minutes. Thoughts: Go for dinner, and order from the full dinner menu, skip the skimpy street eats menu. With reservations you can sit in the main restaurant area that has some view to the outdoors. Without it - back to the black room you go! Know that it will be expensive. And it will be original. Not sure I'll go back. It's very "special occasion" upscale dining. But If I do it'll be with reservations. The meal was memorable and worth experiencing.
