Suggestions and recommendations as well. I knew then and there I am going to buy from these guys. Very professional and knowledgeable group. Before my bed could be delivered, I called back to purchase a second bed and worked with Shane. He was equally great and helpful with my second purchase. Couldn't have found a better set of salesmen than Bill and Shane. On the day of delivery, Corey and Eli showed up with our mattresses and carefully delivered them to our rooms and hauled away the old beds. One of the mattresses I wanted to keep and they bagged it up so I could store in my garage. They were very willing to go above and beyond getting everything up and downstairs and couldn't have been more appreciative with their positivity and hard work. I've already got my eye on the Aireloom mattress for my master bedroom. That baby's next in my home. It's the Cadillac of mattresses and Mattress Depot usually has a great sale on them as well as the other ones I was shopping for. Def stop by the Guide Meridian store in Bellingham. HomeGoods is owned by the same company that owns TJ Maxx and Marchalls. Here are a couple of main differences between HomeGoods and other discount stores ('+' for a pro; '-' for a con): +Prices are great at HomeGoods but they don't (seem to) sell things just because they were able to buy random closeout items. Each item you find on the shelf, you can find multiple of them. If you go to other stores, including its sister stores and definitely Ross, you often find random assortments of things. +HomeGoods, at least at this location, is very well stocked with food items. I was able to find Italian cookies I could not find anywhere else in town. -HomeGoods does not sell apparel. I'm sure I will come back here often. I am replacing my initial review of five stars with this…read more I purchased a leather and steel love seat in Sept 2021. The price was $2100 which was a major purchase for me. The sales person was very kind and helpful during our interaction. We had some questions that he couldn't answer. He attempted to talk with the owner in another room and was given little and uninterested attention. Later as we were discussing the item and purchase, the owner happened to pass through the showroom and the sales person again attempted to ask him a question and he was given a flippant rather rude answer. It gave me the feeling of disrespect of the sales person as well as us, the customer. We purchased the item anyway, though we seriously considered walking. Now, 2+ years later, we have discovered a failure in the cushion hook and loop attachment system. The cushion is held in place by a strip of hook and loop (Velcro) along the front edge. The hook strip is sewn onto the couch. There is no loop strip. Instead hook strip grabs the fabric on the bottom side of the cushion. That fabric has kind of a fuzzy surface. When we remove the cushion, the hooks tear a little bit of the fabric away until I found that the fabric now has a hole in it. If it was a true hook and loop, the fabric would not have been subjected to this tearing. Of course this only happens when the cushions are removed for cleaning underneath. Admittedly, I haven't clean under the cushions more than six times in the last two years. That is not very many removals of the cushions that would warrant a "normal wear and tear" defense. The owner's earlier conduct was repeated when I called him about the failure. Disinterest and disregard. He answered "When we separate the cushion from the body of the chair, we place our hand right next to the Velcro and release it with a sliding motion, rather that just pulling up on the cushion. That lessans the tension on the connection point. I don't know what else to say. No one has every pointed this out." The couch didn't come with an Owner and Operation Manual. I didn't know that there was a procedure for removing the cushions. I am extremely disappointed in the owners attitude toward customer service and the quality of the company products. Although the over quality of the piece is good, I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Included in our purchase were $600. in bedding and a $300. Discount on the adjustable bases. When our 3rd world brown glove delivery truck arrived, they did not have the bedding with them, nor was it on the paperwork. These people were anything but helpful and just wanted get done and leave asap. They were dragging boxes across my new and very expensive floor instead of carrying them and just left the manuals on the bedroom floor. White glove delivery?? It was anything but white glove. Now we have a new split king bed with no bedding, so we drive 1/2 hr. to the store and just get the brush off. They had no record of the bedding or the $300. promo credit on the bases. Customer service is not existent. We have been to the store numerous times and the management cannot and will not do a thing to help. I even have in writing that the store would credit our account $900. but they have failed to follow through. Store manager will not give me access to a district manager or anyone up the food chain. What kind of company does business like this?? I have called the customer no service line only to get off shore agents who are not empowered to help. I have been lied to by these people as they have also failed to follow through with their promises. Do yourself a favor and read all of the on line reviews describing the despicable way this business treats its customers. I highly recommend buying your furniture from a reputable retailer and steering clear of this scam company. I absolutely regret buying from Ashley.

I left with a quote, brochures, and an article on office ergonomics. I decided to buy the chair from Tom and when I went back Tom had already changed the arms and wheels and had the chair ready to go. He wouldn't let me leave until he went through every adjustment and did the initial adjustments on the chair. He wanted to be sure I'd call him if I had any troubles getting a good fit in my office. The chair is wonderful and the service was extraordinary. I'm glad I bought the chair locally. I would definitely recommend Blackburn (and Tom) to others.
