We had a wonderful experience at Slapfish in Fishers! We ordered the fish and chips and the mac and cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. It's always nice to find a restaurant that delivers both quality food and a welcoming environment, and Slapfish definitely did that. We'll definitely be back! read more

I was staying at the Hyatt across the street from this spot last week and decided to give it a try after discovering it on Yelp. I ordered the fish and chips and a salad and it came out to be around $25. After about a 20 minute wait I walked over to pick it up. It wasn't quite ready when I arrived so I took a seat and soaked up the space. The restaurant itself was nice with a very obvious nautical theme. They had booth seating and tables as well as a small patio out front. The staff wasn't the most welcoming but I was just in and out so it was fine. Once I got back to my room I dug right in, as I was starving after a 3 hour drive from Columbus, Ohio. The first thing I noticed was that I forgot to ask for ketchup for my fries when I asked for utensils. And I'm so glad I remembered to ask for utensils, otherwise that would have gotten messy really quick. It would be really nice if the staff asked about those things for takeout orders. The next thing I noticed was that my fried fish was already soggy. Given that it wasn't ready when I arrived and only five-ish minutes passed between them handing it to me and when I started eating, I was surprised. That said, the parts that were crispy were nice and their tartar sauce was super good. The fries also had a nice seasoning on them. Overall, the experience was fine, which is why I landed on a solid three stars. read more

While I have tried a prior Slapfish location, this is my first time to this particular location. This is also my first time ordering online ahead of time and then coming to the location to pick up. Great thing was that we came during an off time so parking was easy to find here because this entire area parking is super limited and such a pain to find. I am not sure who's doing this urban planning for this entire location of Fisher's District however there are too many venues too many restaurants and two few parking spots. With that being said, the good news is that the food was already ready and waiting for me and I quickly took it from the bag which was already closed and sealed when in the car went straight home. This is where things went downhill. This was a to go order and I do not recall on the app for Ordering if they asked if I wanted utensils or napkins, etc. However, I did order a soup and there was no soup spoon. Further, there were no napkins in the bag. I would assume it to go order should have these types of accoutrements included with them. However, the food as usual was super delicious super good and the soup although we did not have a spoon was still warm if not hot, which I prefer Please figure out what to do want to go orders if it's not already online as an option for utensils, seasonings, napkins, etc. read more

We were here on a Thursday evening at around 6pm, it wasn't busy yet and we were able to get a seat right away. There is limited parking right outside and you may need to drive around to find one. Our server was nice and came often to check on us and making sure we had enough water. We got the Lobster Tots as an appetizer and it was ok, I really anticipated it to have more lobster and have more flavor. My entree was the shrimp roll (I got the grilled) and fries, again, it was ok, I think I may of liked it more if I got the fried shrimp instead but the Jersey sauce that comes with it was really good and the bread was buttery and crispy. My cocktail, The Slaparita, I would definitely get again. Side note, unfortunately the restrooms were not clean or stocked. read more

My husband and I came here for a date night last weekend. It is a nice date night spot. It is casual enough to feel laid back, but unique enough to feel like a special experience. We got a lobster roll, a shrimp roll, oysters, and lobster dip. All were fine! Nothing to write home about, but solid seafood. I personally really loved the dip. The service was great - we had a new server and she was so sweet. If we are in the mood for seafood, I think we would come back! read more

There are some people I know who don't eat any seafood here because we are Land locked, and while I wish I could be that careful, I love seafood too much to wait until I can get to FL, so on national oyster day I wanted oysters that I did not have to shuck myself and Slapfish was close, I'm glad I decided to visit. It's a great location! You order at the counter and they bring it to you, my oysters were savory and delicious and I paired them with a crisp sauv b, can't wait to go back and check out more of their menu! read more

Popped into slapfish for a quick lunch in between errands and I tried the street tacos for the first time! Slapfish - Street Taco - Seafood Near Me - Fishers, Indiana

Amazing seafood in Fisher's! We tried an array of dishes from the menu, and none disappointed. From the deviled eggs (must try!) to rolls and the tacos you cannot go wrong with you order. If you are looking to sample highly recommend the roll trio cause you get to try shrimp, crab, and lobster rolls. The fries are crisp and seasoned well. The blacked grouper was flaky and grilled to perfection. The service was a okay overall. No distinct set yourself or wait to be seated direction, an. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Some advice come early! Indoor and outdoor seating options, but they are a busy place. Rightfully so since the food is delicious! read more

2 trips to Slapfish in two days! How lucky am I? The bottom line is that while the delicious food and menu are the same, the vibe is very different. Today, I'm in the Fishers District location. Yesterday I met a friend at Carmel Market District location. It was lunchtime and they attract shoppers looking for a snack. Their other customers are connected with IU Hospital Carmel. It's table service after you order at the counter with a self-service beverage. Fishers District is more of an open-air restaurant concept. The front window opens. There are patio tables, so you can see and be seen. (Very Fishers District--outdoor seating is "de rigueur" at Fishers District eateries.) I tried a cup of the clam chowder with my fish tacos--it was creamy and delicious! I highly recommend the establishment and both locations. read more

Slapfish is just the right mix of sit down and casual. Coming from California, I love good seafood. The food is always fresh and the portions are great. Haven't had anything on the menu that I do not like. The fish tacos are my go-to, and the dressing for the salad is yummy! Most locations you order at the front and they bring your food to you but the fishers location has table service on Friday and the weekend. Also has a great patio! read more

We had ordered DoorDash from the downtown location a couple years ago. So when we were in area of this location we decided to give them a try. Visited on New Years Day and they weren't busy at all. We were greeted and seated promptly Our server was wonderful. He gave recommendations and was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. They have a bar and beers on tap However we opted for Coke Zero today App- lobster crab dip was creamy and had lots of meat in it. Seasoned perfectly. The homemade chips are crunchy like a kettle chip and dusted with old bay seasoning. Portion was large enough for 2-3 people Clobster grilled cheese- filled with lots of lobster and crab very cheesy and toasted perfectly. Fries are fresh natural cut and dusted with old bay. I would have preferred them to have been cooked a little longer however that is just a personal preference. Surf and turf burger- burger lacked salt but that yet again could be a personal preference other than that it was really good. Lots of lobster meat on top. The tomatoes were fresh. The caramelized onions were a perfect addition. This is a large portion item. The decor is so cute and authentically pleasing. Overall amazing experience and will be back. Also if you have the toast app be sure to put your phone number in as I earned 8$ to use on a future purchase. read more

I went there twice in one week since I am staying at the Hyatt. The first time I really enjoyed the petite lobster roll and lobster dip & chips. The fish taco was okay, had too much going on in it or maybe I was just already full with the roll. Service was good until they gave me the check. I was still working on my chips and the server took my plate already as I was paying. So I felt kind of dissapointed. But I did go back again and this time I got the lobster roll and clam chowder. Service was better as I had a different server. The food can be pricey but it was worth it. read more

Fun space to get seafood. They have many fried options to choose from. The food does not present as healthy to me even if you choose grilled or a bowl. You can be creative for your child but the menu is not geared toward children. Comfort food for sure. Worth the try but would consider it a mid option. read more

The place is clean, well lit. Under our table, the floor is a bit sticky. May be prev customer spilled a drink or something. They are friendly and helpful. Foods came out pretty fast. Delicious and cooked well. Somehow all of our orders come with lots of fries. Great to be able to try. read more

Visited Slapfish with my dad, and it ended up being one of his favorite meals of the trip. We shared the lobster deviled eggs as an appetizer, and they were a definite hit! A fun and unexpected twist on a classic. I ordered the Power Bowl from the gluten-free menu, and it was fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling heavy. My dad went with the fish and chips and really enjoyed it - crispy, golden, and perfectly cooked. The food was great, the service was friendly, the vibe was casual and upbeat. Definitely a location I'll be recommending and returning to! read more

7.17 & 7.19.25 -- had lunch with a work associate/friend on Thursday, and went back with my mom & the hubs on Saturday! For the first lunch, I had the grilled fish sandwich with the side salad (choiceof fries, slaw or salad), and my friend had the Hawaiian bowl -- grilled shrimp over a salad with nice chunks of pineapple. My sandwich had a nice soft bun and a good size of flaky fish. The side salad has a nice variety of fresh veggies (tomatoes, rashish, carrot), not just a greens mix. Yesterday, we got an appetizer of fried oysters, which were about a half dozen and came over piping hot friench fries, plus sides of ketchup and two other dipping sauces. My mom had the lobster roll and cole slaw, I had the lobster grinder (mix of lobster, shimp & fish - like a seafood salad) and side salad, and the hubs had the slapfish shrimp scampi. (see pics of all.) We each has a soft drink/ice tea. The food is beautiful, plentiful and tasty. You order at the counter but they bring to your table and you have waited service after you order. Lunch for the 3 of us was $89 before tip. #yum #ReviewsByRL read more

I love Slapfish and am never disappointed when I go here, especially this location! Love that the seafood always tastes fresh and delicious, and the food is always prepared very well. The restaurant is kind of small, so I recommend getting a reservation during the weekends, however, I was able to walk in around 5:30pm on a Saturday and get seated right away. I love the nautical decorations, and that the restaurant is clean. All the parking around is free, but there's limited parking right outside the restaurant. There's a super close free parking garage, but the parking spots are super tight and only the first floor is open to the public. However, there's a ton of free parking lots that are about a 3-5 minute walk from the restaurant. read more

I'm not sure why this place has such great reviews honestly- the staff was very friendly, but the quality of the food is below average. This was our second trip here, we didn't love it the first time but a year later and it having such high reviews we decided to give it a second chance. We went on a Friday night, it was DEAD inside. We were one of three occupied tables when we arrived, we stayed less than an hour and we were the last ones there. Lobster dip: very rich, decent seafood flavor but it overall just a rich dip with a few pieces of lobster on top. Chips were seasoned well. Grouper sandwich: small piece of greasy fish, did not appear grilled to me, maybe pan fried? Either way it was not good. Lobster roll: this came highly recommended. To me, just a butter soaked toasted bread with maybe a couple ounces of lobster in a lot of sauce. Made my stomach hurt after one bite, and that was after pushing all the lobster to the end to get more of a lobster filled bite with less of the buttery bread. Cole slaw was the best part, but didn't finish it because my stomach hurt from the dip and roll. Sorry to be a buzzkill but this place doesn't live up to the ratings in MY opinion. I've had way better seafood in other spots close by. read more

Outstanding! This is the first time we've ever been to SlapFish. We came here for Mother's Day 2026, and each of us ordered the clam chowder, which all three of us agreed it was excellent (not pictured). Great flavor, texture, and consistency with plenty of clams, topped with bacon and chives. Mom got the fish taco, Dad got the shrimp scampi, and I got the grilled fishbowl with blackened Seabass. We will be back. I would like to try the Powerbowl next with salmon, mahi-mahi, and shrimp. read more

Slapfish in Noblesville was one of the first Yelp Elite events I attended and it's cool seeing they now have a location in Fishers (as well as Indianapolis). The interior of Fishers location looks a little more sophisticated than the Noblesville location but still has a chill vibe. A host welcomes you and provides menus, you choose a seat, order at the counter, and food will be delivered to your table. Food is good as always. Feel like portions have gotten a bit smaller but that's pretty standard everywhere. Decided to try the poke bowl. Good flavors, personally I'd prefer more rice in place of greens but it's still good. read more

Discovered this specific Fishers location during Lent and it is easily the best. The other Slapfish locations were good when I was craving really good seafood; and were huge for us as a Catholic Family during the season of Lent because they have choices everyone in the family loves. The Fishers (IKEA area) location is a standout for their amazing staff though... I've brought so many friends who had never eaten there before and it didn't matter who the employee was behind the register, they were always super cool and helpful. Plus, this location's ambiance is just really great. Even though it's small, it's decorated very airy... and the open front window/wall just lets in so much fresh air and light. It's like you're getting to eat outside without the hassle of eating outside. :) It's supposed to be mid-level prices but definitely on the higher end. You don't get an awful lot for what you pay. But I'll be dang if what you get isn't some of the best you'll have ever had. :) I would eat two Lobster Rolls daily if I could, but I'd be poor and fat. Lol. If you haven't checked this place out, you must. For real. read more

While visiting from Arizona for a baseball tournament, we tried many restaurants, all great! Then... we found Slapfish! By far the absolute best food and service ever! Silly me thinking this place wouldn't be busy on a Saturday night! I had only been to this location for lunch and have never had an issue finding a table but when we walked in on a Saturday evening, the place was packed! They had a 40 minute wait for a group of 3 but luckily they have some outdoor seating so we were able to grab a seat right away. It's table service but you do order at the counter. The staff is still super attentive after you sit down though so they bring water, plates, etc. The food here is always amazing and the portions are huge so definitely worth the money. Was hoping for a top notch meal, but didn't quite hit the mark. The fish taco has a great piece of fish on it, but it was big and on a full-size tortilla, with a ton of cabbage and a TON of sauce. Why in the world do they think delicious, high-quality fish needs to be drowned in sauce? Very messy as a result. Hard to eat. Fried oysters were ok. Fries with them were fine. Lobster tots sort of had some seafood flavor - mostly breading. Sauces were all good. Nice dining room and a few tables outside too. On the whole, it was just ok. read more

We went to SlapFish for my moms birthday! We had a really nice time and what stood out the most was their service! They were so kind and accommodating! I brought cake that they kept in the fridge until we were ready for it! They continued to check in with us and always had a smile! Honestly the service was the best part of our visit! Food wise! We enjoyed several items. Specifically the Mac n cheese, the fried oysters, lobster roll and the fettuccine! Those were all 10/10! Everything else was good but I'd rate them at more of a 8/10. I think those items could differ depending on the person eating! For example. I loved the Lobster Tots but my boyfriend did not as much. The only food item I wasn't a fan of was the coleslaw. Not nasty just not for me. The drinks!! Whoo! They did not play with making those drinks! They were very tasty and had a really nice amount of liquor! Very cute place! I look forward to visiting during the warmer days to sit outside! read more

Seriously delightful seafood eats that's affordable. Those buttered buns and mussel broth was a chef's kiss! I got the green light to drink up the broth from both my husband and the server but i did contain myself in the end. (Maybe next time ). Clean dining area with outdoor seating available. Prompt friendly service and literally at a push of a button. Alcoholic beverages available and the mai tai delivered a sneaky buzz. Went for early dinner and several tables had young children like us. Yes they can be loud and proud as expected. There is a kids menu and the kids loved the mac n cheese and fries; however the food was so hot that my son cried burning his tongue. So if your portable mini fan ran out of batteries like ours did, i would suggest scooping the mac n cheese out on the plate to cool faster and evenly rather than leave in the bowl. read more

So I went to slap fish today, September 13, 2025 got fish and chips for my husband, and of course, my favorite lobster deconstructed because I have to travel with it, and I didn't want the bread all soggy 12:15 lunchtime and to my dismay I get home open up the lobster and it was nothing but a bunch of crumbly pieces of lobster. I was beyond annoyed. I don't recommend getting it to go cause you don't know what they've packed up. I didn't think I needed to open it while I was there I would've sent the lobster back and requested some better looking lobster pieces. So for $26 it'll be another year or more before I have one and I'll eat in! I tell you nothing is like it used to be when they first opened up they were the bomb! and now not so much. I don't know everything cost so much money and I hate to waste mine so slap fish you owe me. read more
