Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.

Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.

They were fresh, cooked well, and had an amazing flavor. Everyone enjoyed their food, and it made for a great birthday meal. Unfortunately, the beer was a completely different story. It was easily the weakest beer I've ever had at a restaurant. It honestly tasted like it had been mixed with water, with very little flavor or strength. Overall, I'd definitely go back for the burgers because they were that good, but I'd skip the beer next time. If you're going there for the food, I think you'll be happy; just don't expect much from the beer.

Slap Burger Bar? More like Slap in the Face Burger Bar! I recently had the misfortune of dining at this place, and let me tell you, it was a slap in the taste buds. First of all, the name itself should have been a warning sign. If the name suggests that their burgers are going to be a slap, they certainly delivered on that promise. The burgers were so overcooked that they were like burnt plates. Not to mention, the 'seasonal' milkshake they are pushing right now tastes like a mouth full of Glade air freashener (which is what upper management uses to mask the smell of waste which permeates the space). And let's not forget the prices! Slap Burger Bar thinks they can charge premium prices for their mediocre burgers, but there are plenty of better options out there that won't leave your wallet feeling slapped as well. Overall, my experience at Slap Burger Bar was a slap in the face, and not in a good way. If you're looking for a delicious burger, look elsewhere, because Slap Burger Bar is nothing but a slap in the burger-loving community's face. read more
