Our only observation was that the fries did not compliment the burgers. Would love to see them offer waffle fries or sweet potato fries. Since returning home we have been on a mission to find burgers that compare, much to our dismay we have failed. We will definitely be back next time in the area.

Overall, while the quality of food was fairly average, I still enjoyed my experience, and given the limited options in Torrey (especially later at night), Broken Spur is still a solid choice.

Hunt and gather has dispelled me of that notion, because HOT DAM this is good food! We had heard that Hunt and Gather was a place to get a good meal, so we made a reservation a few days ahead. My friend and I shared a bottle of White Wine, as we intended to have lighter meals. The server was VERY conscious of and accommodating to my allergies, which is always appreciated. For main, I chose a piece of trout, my favorite fish. It was beautifully seasoned and prepared. It came with roasted potatoes and vegetables and a creamy sauce that was fantastic.
