Thankfully no serious damage occurred other than a large tree branch crashing down onto the front lawn due to gusty winds. A quick Yelp review helped me find Rays Tree Service. It's no wonder so many others have rated Acevedo's Tree Service stars! Ray was at my house within 30 minutes to review the project and provide a very competitive quote for the job. We actually decided on additional work to trim and prune the entire tree. Ray came back the very next morning, a half hour earlier than expected to begin the work. I stayed home to watch the entire job. It was cool to watch him study the job and explain the game plan to his assistant. He was very careful around the neighbors property and especially the surrounding telephone pole wires while getting his aerial lift high into the tree. After cutting was completed, all the debris was placed into the wood chipper. Final raking and leaf blowing cleaned up the area nicely. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts.
