The damaged tree is hanging by a thread, and it can kill someone if it falls. They came out and did an estimate on the wrong tree (the neighbor's tree that was already on the ground). They claimed that I had said something about "a tree on the ground" in my initial discussion. This was not the case. They did not reply for an entire week, until finally sending me an email saying that the "schedule is full for the season" and they won't be able to do this work. So, they gave an estimate, but when they realized they made an error, they no longer wanted the job. Not a great look.
